I drink a lot of unsweetened iced tea. If I forget my glass until it's room temperature, I just poor the leftovers into my plants. They are extremely healthy. I started doing this at work too, and my boss saw me doing it and thought I would kill the plant or attract bugs. After a while, he asked me if I still did it and said it really work well, as the plants were looking better than he ever saw them. It works.

Some great tips, but some need further research. Eggshells need to be oven cooked before crushing. Coffee filters may have plastic in them. Newspapers have poisonous chemicals. Pencil shavings need to be paint free and the centre lead would be poisonous. I still learned some stuff thankyou
Thank you I just got a palm from Habitat for Humanity restore and it looked terrible. They were trying to give it away and I took it. I’m trying to help it and maybe this will help.

@@umelokarnes5460no, they dont. The reason the nurseries give you these directions is because they don't expect you to keep them alive very long anyways. Orchids actually don't even like being in pots as they are epiphytic. They grow on the sides of trees, not anywhere near dirt. I don't know why anyone would actually think that ice cubes are good for any plant... Do you see any plants living in the poles!?!?!?
I went looking for this supposed hidden herbs book and it appears to be “nowhere” online. Even eBay hasn’t heard of it, when has that ever happened before? 😂. Amazon? “Nothing”. General online search? Nothing. The name comes up and nothing else really.
Penny in pot, shows everything but no cooper coin...not all tea is usable and it could cause mold, the price of electricity makes ice absurd, be careful with vinegar, there are many plants that could not handle the acid.....ash is not all the same, it could be toxic, onionskin molds fast, be careful, matchsticks molds, like in the picture, eggshells only works if there enough life in the earth and could stick like hell if not completely clean. The eggshells only work with one Sendling and do not degradiert fast enough to let the plantgrow properly. Grandma's 39 indoor gardening hacks are absolutely amazing! There are so many creative and useful ideas that everyone wishes they knew sooner!
Really very useful video for plant lovers. ❤
Thanks a lot
Thanks a lot
Some great tips, but some need further research. Eggshells need to be oven cooked before crushing.
Coffee filters may have plastic in them.
Newspapers have poisonous chemicals.
Pencil shavings need to be paint free and the centre lead would be poisonous.
I still learned some stuff thankyou
The "lead" in a pencil isn't lead. It's graphite. Graphite is carbon. Crush and innoculate it and you will have biochar.
I been using eggshell uncooked but clean and my plants love it!! Iwrinse the eggshells and soak in water and water after soaking a day or 2
Most News paper that isn’t shiny use vegetable dye
Also, I've heard ice cubes can shock roots
Love these tips.💜
Glad you like them!
For insulation, simply place styrofoam (saved from packaging of electrical appliances) under the pots on the window sills.
I use onion skins to make soup but this is interesting too! Will definitely be using some of these tips.
This video really got me thinking! The Hidden Herbs by Anette Ray touches on this too, and it’s a great read overall.
Thanks I didn’t know in the leftover peel was beneficial to the plants
Thank you
❤
Onion peel great for indoor palm trees!!!❤
Yes!!

Onion Peel water not to be used daily...
Excellent
Very good tips. Just want to say please place a hole in the bottom of egg before you place soil and seed to avoid rotting
The ice cube advice is no good. The melted water will be too cold for the plant roots.
There’s a book called The Hidden Herbs by Anette Ray, and it shows you how to really activate your body’s natural healing power.
Thanks Never knew Most of them
You're very much welcome.
Pennies are only 2.5% copper. No longer 100% copper. Is that enough for the plants?
Find an old penny
Pennies from 1909-1982 (except the steel pennies) are 95% copper, 5% zinc
If you use yeast as fertilizer wouldn't the copper kill the bacteria?????
I bury my potato andd. Onion skins in thee soil. I. Pput used coffee grounds in the soil..banana peels
❤❤❤
The ice one is ridiculous. Aren’t houseplants tropical?!
Yes. It's a plant killer.
Ice cubes work on orchards, though.

My grandma cleaned the leaves of her houseplants with a mixture of water and beer.
Thanks for this!!

This video’s solid, but The Hidden Herbs by Anette Ray will take your understanding to the next level. Trust me on this.
I'm not sure about the ice cube
Wool socks good luck finding bc most are polyester

I did a google search for Hidden Herbs by Annette Ray and found 2 places to buy it as an instant download or book. Both are $29.00.
The peel of banana it’s the inside skin o outside skin ?
lol first one....we don't have pennies any more
Don't you have to make sure the penny is made of color?
Too much cold water is harmful for plants
Pennies are not made of copper anymore
❤❤❤😮😮😮😊😊😊
