Great video. I sometimes tug on the plant, especially the smaller money trees, if it comes clean out of the pot, I will water. I will try watering first then applying the fertilizer as you have mentioned, never done that before.

If the plant currently growing in your climate, Best thing to do is prune it back, giving it a round head. As it grows make sure it gets equal amount of light from all sides or rotate the plant occasionally. Good luck.

I have used miracle-gro mix with water. water your plant first once excess has fully drained out of bottom of pot then feed it the mix. only in growing season April to end of August.
@ really appreciate for replaying 🙏,my plant got long but the rot is thin and I have it since 2020 and now days it’s not doing well it has yellow leafs and wrinkles in new given leafs and many more problems 😔l changed the pot I put the rot deeper than it was I think I will wait for some days and if it gets worse I will change it again
If you can, I would swap it out. Yes, if it’s a clean cut, the top portion will die and the bottom may start to shoot new growth towards the top of the trunk of the plant that is left. Also, if it’s braided , which I assume it is, the plant will look off. Good luck.

@@monstrofarm before repotting the leaves turn brown and the roots are good… so now I cut off the brown leaves and again did repot (2nd time) in succulents soil mix… hope it works
My poor baby. I had my Money Tree indoor in front of my kitchen window which faces East. I noticed leaves drooping after replanting it. I took it outside, but the heat and Sun scorched some leaves. She's back inside. I hope she'll survive. 😢 🙏🏻
You can fertilize every watering if you like, just make sure you evenly break up the dose recommended on the fertilizer you purchased. Good luck and let me know how I can help.

Great video! I need help! My money tree is dying and I'm trying to save it. 💔🙏🏾 It was so full and beautiful. Now, it barely has any leaves. 😢 I contacted a plant shop that usually comes out to check and care for your plants but unfortunately they never came. So I watched a video and did the best I could to "doctor" on it. I immediately changed the soil that was turning white and it was to wet as well. Then I took off the leaves/stems that were dead. It immediately seemed to look and feel better but now it's so droopy, I believe due to the cold weather. Then a few days ago, I took it in my bathroom and ran the hot showing, closed the door and left it in the about 10 minutes or less. Yesterday, it was finally some sun out so I left it out in the sun but later I forgot to bring it in over the cold night. So now, I literally just brought it in about 15 minutes ago and put it under a portable heater. I need help and some suggestions to bring my plant baby fully back to life. 💕🪴💕 Thank you!

I heard that plants like tea ! I often park used tea bags in my plants and they say that the 'tannin' in tea helps keep humans youthful 😊

Do you ever cut root bound plants? My money tree odd very root bound and I watched another video on chopping the roots!
I've seen this plant used for Bonsai. So, yes, you can cut root bound Money Tree's.

I would not plant it any deeper than it was. Sometimes they do ok, sometimes they don’t.

I didn’t notice that one of the trunks was broken actually in half (detached) until I got it home. Will this be a problem in the long run?
