Why Your Money Tree Leaves are Turning Yelllow

Your Money Tree leaves are turning yellow because the plant isn’t getting enough sunlight, you’re overwatering it, or something is wrong with the root system. sometimes it’s a bit difficult to figure out which of those variables is making the leaves on your plant yellow. There’s a list of things you can go over to kind of narrow down the issue on your house plant. The money tree plant craves a lot of sunlight, and that could easily be our issue. If the plant isn’t receiving enough sunlight, it also is demanding less water, so you could easily overwater it.
The money tree plant is literally almost a tree and grows like crazy. It demands tons of sunlight and sometimes it’s hard to give the plant adequate amounts of that. To fix the issue of the leaves turning yellow on your plant you can try to get it more sunlight chances are that’s the issue. You could also assess the root system by removing the pot and taking a look to see what it looks like. If the root system is super route bound, chances are it may need to be repotted.

Mine are yellow with spots of brown! I’m in Ohio, have it in an East facing window! If I set it in an west window, it will be direct sunlight! I’m confused!😫

I went to move it closer to the sun and the only green leaf left fell off. 😔 I’m devastated! I love money trees. It still has buds so I’m going to put it in my window seal and see if those sprout. Fingers crossed.

If it has any insects on the leaves how would I get rid of them as I see nothing. Plant doesn’t seem dry but leaves continue to fall off have brown spots as well. Any additional advice. It was so gorgeous last summer and fall and now only some leaves are on it.

just purchased a Money Tree plant in a 10 inch pot with drainage. I poured one litre of Water and a little came out of the drainage holes. But my moisture meter indicated the earth as dry. Does this mean i didnt pour enough water?

Just got a money tree a week ago from the grocery store, and we watered it a few times, within a couple days, the leaf edges are turning brownish with some spots and one of those apps diagnosed “root rot” which how could that happen within days of bringing it home when it looked fresh and green with all the plants at the store?
