My Mother-In-Law Wants To Be Involved In Our Lives Again Because Of Her Bio Grandkids.

This is so sad for those kids. What a horrible gma/MIL. My own MIL welcomed my kids with open arms the very first time she met them despite the fact I was divorced, quite a bit older than her son, and the fact we weren’t even married yet (she is a devout Catholic).
She even had a bio grandchild the next year (her only blood related grandchild) and she still calls my children her “first grandkids” or “oldest grandkids” even though he technically is. We were family immediately simply Bc her son loved me. She is an incredible woman and I am beyond lucky to have her; everyone should be so lucky 🤍

If she had wanted to be in her adult sons life, she should have been at least decent to your kids.. They were kids, and she didn't have to dote on them, but could have meet them and sent a card on birthdays with 5.00 in it, and at least a small gift at Christmas.. But she was a bitter old biddy
