I'm honestly wondering what her reason was for lying about OP like that. She cancelled babysitting and then all of a sudden accused this guy of SA. It doesn't make sense. It's not like OP stole a job from her to make her mad, she cancelled. Definitely 100% agree that she should face the same persecution that OP faced for lying like that.

The only reasonable explanation is that it was a cover for something. Often when women get caught cheating they will accuse cheating partner of sexual assault. To save marriage or relationship she didn't stand to get any money from falsely accusing him. Had to be a cover

  • @Neck41

Yeah i'm kind of questioning the validity of this story. First off, why would the court dismiss the evidence so easily, I would expect the court appointed attorney (I'm going to say this happened in America) would have advocated or appealed the decision. Plus only 4 years for SA and inappropriately touching minors? Yeah that would have had a heavier sentence, normally the minimum sentence would have been 10 years, maybe more. Plus what was Sarah's story, she was out, so what did she say and how did OP "SA" her? That detail seemed crucial to the story. Also what's the history with OP's family? Is there something in the past that would cause the parents to instantly believe Sarah? Did Op Do something that waned their trust? Plus if the parents believed he did it why would they visit him in jail? From the way OP described them they could care less if he rotted in prison wo why the visits? Plus it took 4 years for the new Attorney to help...ummm...that was the same amount of OP's sentence, so wouldn't OP be released by then? So that's a bit of a contradiction. Also shouldn't have Sarah have gotten jail time when OP was exonerated, because (Again like I said i'm going to assume it's America) she committed perjury, and that is a serious and arrest-able offence.
Plus why would OP still have a place? Wouldn't his home be sold, rented out, or have someone else living in it? If no one believed in him then no one could maintain it and he wouldn't have a place to live. That doesn't make sense. Also how old are OP's siblings? Are they older, younger, that could help as well. And when OP went to court against Sarah, the lower said she was a young confused women...how old is she? If she is old enough to have kids then that statement can't be taken seriously. Also no mention of what happened to Sarah? Knowing she committed perjury can come with a heavy sentence. Again things in this story doesn't add up nor make sense.

I think I can clear up some of this. Men have gone to prison on the word of women many times, when tears are weaponised. Sometimes evidence gets overlooked, dismissed or ruled as not to be taken in to account. Sometimes parents still by duty "visit" their children even if they lose their like for them, some still love them. As for why when proven innocent, she doesn't get prosecuted... it very very very rarely happens when a woman's lies are proven to be lies. Jemma Beale accused ten different men of separate crimes, some served time before all of them were eventually exonerated. So it takes ten male victims before a female false accuser serves a sentence and her sentence was miniscule compared to what her victims faced or would have faced.
Also the confused young woman card works a lot. Just because a woman is a legal adult, does not mean the courts treat women with the same agency as men. Look at sentencing disparities and in some cases, women nearly ending a man's life but being given probation. Even in England, where a man would face a decades long sentence, women have not served any time at all due to how the societal view is on male to female and female to male.

Yeah, this is a "false allegation" circlejerk fanfiction for redpill men to jack off to.
All of the details shows it has been written by someone who didn't bother to look up how criminal investigation works.
Bro could have watched a single true crime, but no.

    • @darklordsatan4383

@@loganblackwood2922 There are men who have gone to prison over false allegations. There are even women who ended up in prison over false allegations, but the story is still BS. The details are all off, and is not how police investigations work.
Firstly, bro said he was arrested and *charged* the DAY after. Meaning, police someone were able to investigate the case and gain all the evidence in one evening. Not very believable.
They also didn't interrogate him. Any officer would want to interrogate a suspect in a he-said-she-said criminal case like this, hopefully getting him to confess to it.
If the story had mentioned him being interrogated, and exhausted to the point where he just confessed falsely (this has happened many times, someone innocent confessing just because the police interrogation messed with their head), then it would have been more believable. But no. Just right in prison.

This is the story we should be hearing of all things about SA, yet we have stories where OP never goes to jail, or gets 2 trials back to back. there is a story where a guy got blamed for SAing a cousin during a holiday. everyone beat OP near death and threw them out to the street, they never called the cops... they just removed their existence from their lives. it was like 7 years, after finding out and finding that OP had a family, and was having a child. When someone that past Christmas finally acknowledged the existence of OP and that Cousin spilled the beans. when the parents tried to reconnect with OP, they found out on that holiday, he was playing in a sports game. Op got upset at his own parents when the mom and him found out the Dad killed all funding for OP when it wasn't supposed to. Using that money, the Dad bought tickets to Europe, new cars, and a new house, and spoiled that cousin with the hundreds of dollars in OP's College fund. when he wanted her punished, forced to repay for all that was sinned. They didn't want to do anything about it, just let her "go" and said they couldn't just ruin someone's life when they CLEARLY ruined his. he spat at them saying "Your son died on the streets by falling off a building from waiting for the police to kill him... and I was born from the body not jumping."

I’m sorry, but nothing will ever take away the hurt. If you learn to live with that hurt, it’ll just make your emotions that much more unstable. Revenge in this case is the best way to get justice.
Sidenote: losing those four years of this will never truly recover your life. There’s no point in wanting to live if you lost those four years that shouldn’t have been lost to begin with. It’s great that you got your “life” back but that’s not realistic in a real situation.

Sometimes I find stories like these hard to believe. Not the situation itself but this being OPs actual experience. He constantly mentioned how much exposure hes placed on his case from blogs to podcasts to it making it on the news (even its just local) all on its own. He also constantly talks about advocating but when I tried to Google the case, nothing came up about this. It just doesnt make sense to post anonymously on Reddit but with so much identifying details about his case that it should be easy enough to find.
Plus whats the deal with calling her "My Babysitter"? He wasnt the parent of the kids in question and she was even older than him by a couple of years, plus he never mentions why she lied in the first place. Like the question never crossed his mind. I feel like people have forgotten the concept of clickbait these days.

OPs family obviously never cared for him at all. "oh .. b-b-but we didn't know and w-we had our own biases' Bias against their own damn son?? What's wrong with these people?? And even after he was proven innocent, their attempts at making amends looked more like his family felt bad for throwing someone under the bus like that and sent apologies just so they could say "welp at least I TRIED to fix things" and pat themselves on the back for a job well done. OP's father is the worst offender... I mean, c'mon... sending a letter??? That man doesn't have the guts to apologise in person, even if it would obviously be a meaningless, fabricated apology??
If OP really had any resemblance of self-worth, He should not pursue making amends with his family, Sarah is not the only person who should have consequences, OP's parents should deal with the result of their biased hatred of their own son by never seeing him again, forever knowing that they lost a son and knowing that it is entirely their fault.
