What pisses me off about this story is that when the parents heard OP doing drugs & their decision was cutting OP out of their lives & letting OP “fix” herself but were there for Leah through her hard times & even asking for OP’s support.
The thing you need to realize with these Reddit stories is a lot of them or what I have always called “creative writing projects”. Basically what I’m saying is they are complete lies. There are several ways to tell from my experience with reading them on Reddit. Usually there’s a big trifecta of things that happen in every fake story. The parents immediately don’t believe the child being accused, all of the friends immediately turn against the person being accused without even bothering to ask what the hell was going on or checking it out for themselves, they start losing friends and jobs again without any investigations on anyone’s part. I’ve got to the part of the story a few minutes in where she says she lost all of her friends and her job because her boss didn’t want anyone unreliable. That would be a lawsuit in the making and the nail that sealed this for me that this story is an entire fabrication. I finally got to the point where I had to block certain subs on Reddit from my feed because I was not interested in reading these fabricated stories that were trying to be passed off as the real thing. These type of stories belong in the creative writing subs and not attempted to be passed off in a manipulation for clicks, likes, and to see how many people would actually believe the story.
So the dad "can't abandon his daughter" by going to the wedding alone, but he could abandon his other daughter for years because of lies? He deserves to go to the grave knowing how bad he fucked up. He'll give it one more shot when OP eventually has a kid, and hopefully when he realizes he won't have a relationship with his grandchild, it's too much for him.
Something i dont get about responses like this, ignoring the fact that attending a wedding isn't abandoning her and so many reactions are ridiculous here. Like, no real person would jump straight to why aren't you inviting your sister that's just stupid. Anyway if the parents were wrong to abandon the protag, why is it any better to do it a second time? Seems a lot more sensible to realize you effed up and try to do better for both children, not just the originally wronged one.
@@blender4464 I can't tell which side you're on here. But either way, trying to force/guilt OP to invite the stepmom and sister is not being fair and doing better for both OP and the sister. It really sounds like you're trying to say that the dad needs to continue to be fair and give attention equally to both daughters but that is incorrect. The dad has to put in more work with OP to heal that relationship. He can't give 50/50 to both. Rebuilding that relationship and that trust would require him to put OP first on some occasions. The fact that he refuses to put OP first and respect her boundaries is exactly why she cut him and his family off.
Seeing how this post was going the dad will probably find out if she gets pregnant five years after. Then he will be told they moved house twice and are now in another country. And the lying daughter will probably spiral back into drugs with the "guilt" everyone says she feels. Lying manipulators have a hard time excepting reality the way it is and that is why they do it, the odds are not in her favour to stay clean when the world doesn't go the way she wants it.
Sue them for defamation and get all your lost wages and punitive damages for emotional distress? If they ruined your life, ruin theirs with a gigantic lawsuit and get your own.
Suing for defamation seems like a solid move! They really turned your life upside down, and it’s only fair to hold them accountable. You deserve compensation for what they put you through
It’s a fake story though, the artistic language, the way it reads like a sappy YA novel, the details of how things were said, where it was said, saying “I could feel my heartbeat in my throat”, “my voice shaking now”, “judgement piercing through me” and the fact that she remembers the exact words used. It reads like the typical lost soul type of character who wallows in self pity and doesn’t even have the decency to actually be angry at their situation. The way she talks about how only she knows how horrible her life is. Oh and how she essentially props herself up as a saint like figure “Leah is jealous of me” too obviously a fake story borrowing elements from other similar stories that actually happened.
@@maxpowers9129 Yeah a lot of AITA and relationship stories from Reddit are probably fake, but there are probably people out there that can relate to them with similar situations, and there a lot of cops and CPS workers who have had first-hand experience dealing with much worse situations. They have some value as philosophical tests about morality, empathy, and healthy boundaries, as well as demonstrating abusive relationships and red flags.
@@Mizuko2501 very true had an ex ex's do this to me saying I toke him but she was like 6 ex's ago so yeah oh and there was blood to she made her fake blood real blood is way darker then what she had I wiped it and licked it said thats some sweet sweet blood you got their
I had a gf whose sister similarly accused her. Took her five minutes. She grabbed her sister's purse and emptied it. Suddenly the birth control pills fell out, and some prescription pills that were not hers. Then she basically told their parents that the accuser is projecting. Accuser was on the pavement. The damage was done. When it came time for mom and dad to need care in their old age, she told them to find a way to fend for themselves.
i would have gone full "i dont know what you are playing at, but i have been an orphan for ** years now, i have no family, please stop contacting me." i got an ex who went that route, (shes married to an old buddy of mine who knows her family.. who still are not aware hes married to the daughter they discarded based on wht they now are very very very aware were lies.. ), they did find out she was getting married years after some of her former friends told her parents the truth after hearing them badmouth her.. when confronted.. she denied, deflected and projected... but she had lost most of her friends after they all started drinking and she would brag about how she got rid of her sister.. what really fcked with them was... when the grandparents on both sides were given the whole story by a 3rd party who was also screwed by the sister... the parennts learned they were considered dead by the rest of the family and, some relations went so far as to put obituraries in local papers and used them to get the idiots FB pages turned into memorials.. (hard AF to reverse...) when word got out why the grandparents did it it wasnt dicated more... LOL.. when bro showed back up after his wedding trip.. gran thought he was a ghost and he went with it... he wont even lie, he hoped she would have an 'episode' and just expire.... she didnt but she became convinced she was losing her mind... ended up signing power of atny and the kids put her in a home in FL that her insurance would cover... (her health issues.. it was better for her and everybody else)... i dont get it... if i ever had/have kids... im not gonna have a "favorite" and.. the gonna learn the hard way.. trying the manipulative mind games with a gen-x'er is asking to be treated in kind..and we have DECADES of experience at this shit... LOL... owner called me an a-hole and gave me a 1 arm hug... around the shoulders as he thanked me for the laugh... and the lesson in malcomp.. LOL
Well see how much he is willing to pay to show his apology. It does 2 things 1. It will show how much they think 2. If they balk at it that shows you it's a non-apology apology.
If tell him “Imagine if Leia had lied about you r@ping / beating her and you had to go to jail and you lost everything? Would you forgive her? She is still manipulating your and playing the victim. GTFO
there not really apologizing, there asking for pity. if they were apologizing they would have to turn up in person other than that its just false. no effort what so ever in actually making anything better from her parents. she wasn't important enough to them to even visit in person. they just wanted to make themselves feel better with no effort.
The frustrating part was that no one was actually apologizing, the parents were just trying to get back Op cuz Leah is the crazy one🤷♀️ Leah is the one who needs a rehab and they wanted OP “forgive” Leah for Leah’s sake not really cuz they wronged Op
She should have gone straight to be tested for drugs and STIs and then post the results online while explaining the full story so that everyone is aware of the lies and manipulation tactics of her half sister while exposing her parents to the rest of the family.
Or, Dad could have investigated the stories before just making up his mind that OP was guilty. Burden of proof should have been on Leah. This whole story tells me he always favored Leah.
@@Mizuko2501Naw the whole thing is fake. The exact details she gives year by year gice it away. You cant remember apecific details. It reads like a novel. As a guy whos family betrayed him lol. i can say its all a blur. If yoh look at it objectively? its all made up
I can't believe that no one apologised to her. They still made everything about Leah. Even after Leah confessed, her dad and Margaret never apologised to her
Wow...not a single apology. "Sorry for everything that happened" is not sorry for what we put you through over lies. Also can't turn his back on Leah but did for his older daughter without a second thought.
Leah had no repercussions for here action either, parents gave support to someone who destroyed there family over envy . sending her to rehab and being by her side when she tried to end it . but for op nothing just get out of our lives. they aren't parents to op there DNA donors.
@@mattywilliamson3171Yea and if OP had tried to end it all herself, they would have blamed it on drugs and prost*tution! Dad should have been helping OP get and pay for counseling if he thought she really needed help but instead just kicks her out of their lives and say’s don’t return until you get help. If something had happened to OP, I wonder if dad would have felt anything in his soul. Apparently only one daughter matters when it comes to feelings!
That’s for sure… People can change.. (theoretically) But for the most part they DONT, they WONT. And sometimes, if they DO change, They only get WORSE. (Been there, done that, got the T shirt) Anytime someone has hurt, or betrayed you SO BADLY, DO NOT BELIEVE IT, it almost always is just another manipulation To hurt you again.
Something I learned 40-something years of being alive - The people begging for forgiveness are usually one that don't change at all as people, they just change usually their normal tactics & patterns of abuse / manipulative to other forms & patterns of abuse/ manipulative that they think hasn't been done before and/or victim haven't dealt with yet.
@@polarbear2080 Yep. And watch out for those flying monkeys coming in from everywhere demanding that you be the bigger person, And sweep the previous abuse and insults under the rug.
Goes to show how deep Leah is in her parent’s head. Even when she confessed, she just added a truth in place of a lie to keep influence over her parents. Fault for Leah for playing her parents like that, and fault of the parents who never gave their eldest daughter the benefit of the doubt.
Leah's manipulation and your parents' blind trust really show how destructive lies can be. I'm glad you've managed to rebuild your life despite everything.
People are so weak minded. If someone, parent or not, harms you, forgiving done but forgetting and letting them back is ridiculous. As the saying goes, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. And please don't make a fool of yourself by letting people in that take you for granted.
She couldnt because no one believes her. Leah has been planting seed against her in their parents mind since young. And even people around believes leah more than her
@ourchaoticlife23 Yeah, but she could have also just gotten a drug test to prove that her sister was lying. That it would have poked a bunch of holes in her story and forced her sister to come clean. Suing them would have also worked because it would have forced her to get a drug test to prove that they were false allegations.
@@onxybunnyIta all fake. A simple drug test etc wouls prove it. My older brother pulled a similar yet less severe thing. I just said "Drug test" my mom took me and i was clean. It was iver instantly. Not to mention no one remembers the minute details during extreme stress like that. Its a story.
@@onxybunny Even if the story was real, a drug test would mean nothing since the parents weren't seeing reason in the first place. Also, everyone says to sue in these stories, but in reality its not so easy to turn around and sue the people you're closest to from childhood; most people wouldn't if they actually found themselves in that position tomorrow
The amount of lawsuits she had through this! I would have sued my sister. I would sue my ex-employer. I would have sued parents. EVERYBODY!!! I would have had a party 🎉🎉🎉😂😂😂😂
Sadly, if this is in the US, most states have right to work laws where they can fire you for whatever reason they want. Only anti-discrimination laws can help you unless you have a contact, when it comes to discrimination it is very hard to prove and the agencies meant to enforce and protect are underfunded and staff so that companies can do whatever they please no matter how immoral. Sadly, from my understanding, they could fire you over rumors of drug use and such as that wouldn't be covered under anti discrimination laws.
@@bawesome4527 you could still sue the sister though. She would be blamed for the loss of job and emotional damage. If op faked a suicide attempt and then sued, she could sue the shit so bad that Leah and her parents would be broke till kingdom come.
@@LordofthedorksYeah, she could sue but what would she get out of it? Court cases are expensive and Leah has no money so she’d be spending more money than she’d get in the court cases.
What? These AI writers don't know what that is. I'm surprise the parents didn't demand Leah be made the MOH or for OP to step aside for Leah to marry him.
@@VelvetGrandPianojust because it's an ai voice being the narrator doesn't mean it has to be a fake story. With the amount of real stories a thousand times less believable than this one it isn't far-fetched that this one would be real.

Why forgive? She's trying to 'make amends' but that doesn't give back the years recovering from what she did to her own sister. It doesn't erase the years of pain and struggle. So why bother with people who think that if they are remorseful suddenly everything goes back to the way it was. People don't need to forgive, they need to move on, and protect themselves from the perpetrators. No-one deserves forgiveness just because they are sorry.
@@spoosieoopsie1616 I always use your exemple. And your are wrong. Breaking an object by accident is for me the only reason you can forgive someone easily. If you are ressentful for an object you have a problem.
Had this happen to me. My manager didn’t like me. I did a drug test and requested they do the same. (Where I work If someone makes an accusation you have to go to a hospital and have a drug test done regardless of who it is) Shocker only one of us passed and it won’t them.
Ya NO. The second I heard "Is Leah really not invited?" I would have replied "You know what this was a mistake. Forget being invited to my wedding, never contact me again. You never had a problem doing that anyway" and hang up.
The manipulation of the sister is in her nature and instinct. If she is remorseful, she should have confessed, apologized and made effort to make amend before trying and failed to off herself. I'm sure the parents were at her side, asking why she did the foolish thing like killing herself, she then confessed, and they had assured her that everything would be ok. That's why they are reaching out for a healing process and be family again. So stand firm and tell them without holding back about how you want them to disappear from your life.
@@willambonney I was going to say the same thing like they didn't even want to hear her side so why would they change if she asked for a drug test they probably would have said something like 'why would we waste our money on a test that will come back positive?'
If she lied and that destroyed your reputation and lost her job that's defamation a important friend of mine went through this once it was only after that people saw the damage (granted it was too late)
Whoever told her dad about the wedding, gave out her email and then gave out her number needs to be spoken to and cut off. They violated op’s feelings and trauma for a fantasy of things getting better like nothing happened so they can “be like they used to”. Be a big ol happy family after years of betrayal and abandonment. Ignoring the fact that her life was ruined in two towns. She was called a prostitute and an addict multiple times and each time never given the benefit of the doubt. She lost her job and job opportunities. She found out how flaky her friends were by believing rumors over op’s actual character and behavior. She was left to figure it out, but whoever told the family was more concerned with the feelings of the ppl who disrespected, abandoned and scorned op [one of them knowing it was a complete lie and watched the fire spread who now wants to be at the wedding] over complete lies…bc they’re sorry NOW years later. Had the snitch not given good news he wouldn’t have wanted to make amends. If a parent misses their child contacting them shouldn’t be difficult. You shouldn’t have to just think about it. If there’s no contact there’s a problem. He wanted to save face. What if she actually turned to the life they wrongfully claimed she had bc of the abandonment? They would’ve felt validated until the truth was out. He’s a shitty dad op had a shitty family and they don’t deserve space in the new life she created.
It was very smart of her to not go see her evil sister after the suicide attempt. After all it's not much of an attempt if she's still alive, and judging from Leah's past, she does extreme things for attention. Show up, and Leah starts talking about how guilty she felt and how she can't even apologize because of being avoided, thus the attempt is kind of her sister's fault. I even suspect the rehab " coming back to grace " stuff is more attention seeking nonsense as well. Girl just does anything for attention no matter how extreme.
the part that got me laughing was: "after years of" and then the next sentence " TWO years have passed since then"....i mean semantically it's correct but when you don't specify the amount of years in the first sentence, people assume that many of them have passed.
I've seen that problem in ai stories before, but this one gets it utterly wrong from the very start! lol Literally right at the start there's a line: If you'd told me a YEAR ago that my own family would turn their back on me, i would have laughed", then as the story goes own, there's MULTIPLE years between events!
So, her mom needs to stay neutral between her daughter and the daughter of her ex-husband, with no relation to her what so ever. She was abandoned by both her parents 😢
I dont usually like to accuse stories of being fake, but something about this doesnt feel right. If I was accused like OP the first thing i would do is demand to take a drug test
Dad: But I can't turn my back on Leah. OP: What... Like you did to me you mean? On her word, with no chance to defend myself with PROOF? Without even bothering to listen to me! Like that you mean?
I thought almost exactly the same thing. "I can't turn my back on Leah" and my mental response was "You certainly had no problem turning your back on me, you've made your choice AGAIN so live with it.
And again, it's all about the golden child sister. She's even trying to create drama around OP's wedding by needing OP to come and fawn over her, even now. Good gawd.
OP lost her family the day they believed Leah. OP should treat it as a death, greave and move on. Her father's loss. when people show you who they are we MUST believe them.
"But were family your siblings" yeah and so were Cain and Abel and we know how that story ended. "Open change" yeah some do and some don't and i changed into someone who doesn't care. Good to see someone who doesn't fall for their guilt trips or bends to their demands, normally i see these stories and yell grow a back bone but hers in made of steel. One question though is why doesn't she change her number if they keep calling.
Walking a daughter down the aisle is not what you do at the beginning of reconciliation. It is the result of having a restored relationship with your daughter.
The father dont deserve anything! He made that clear when he kicked emma out instead of trying help. I know emma wasnt on drugs or anything. But like if she was, then the father should at least listen and let her speak from her side and try to help and fix it. There is so much other things to do than kick her out. And without her side of it. They didnt even want to listen to her. And then the wedding, the way the father invite himself like nothing happend and thinks he deserve to be there is just disgusting. “id love to be there, walking u down the aisle”. the audacity to even ask that r crazy.
Another story which boiled my blood 🙂🙂🙂🙂 F those parents!! They don't deserve to be called op's parents! They were just the person who raised her but treated her worse than a dog!! F off!
Good story eventually she did the right thing moving away from those evil parents on that revolting sister the sister is toxic horrible and will never ever be happy herself and the least said about those parents is the better. The father didn’t have a backbone. Just wanted to believe all the lies and Margaret least said about it better and that she just sat there and took the sisters side all the time, but forget about them all and just enjoy your happiness with your husband. 34:09
So many loopholes in the story. AI should try better to write these stories. She was kicked out of her job without a drug test. Nor did she offer a drug test to her family. She mentioned her bio mom but that mom didn't help her??? What happened to her degree/college certificate? Why couldn't she get a job on her educational merits? In real life the elder sister would have showed her sibling her place by slapping her across the room.
also the timescales conflict utterly: Literally right at the start there's a line: If you'd told me a YEAR ago that my own family would turn their back on me, i would have laughed", then as the story goes own, there's MULTIPLE years between events!
For most of my life my mom was terrified of me. I later found out my sister told her I was a prostitute and a drug dealer. My mom still wants us to be “friends;” I don’t think so. My sister also beat my parents and told them that they had to choose between her and me, and they chose her. Some parents just accept absolutely anything and have no rules or principles and so they have kids like my sister. Now my sister is a therapist and I wonder what kind of advice she gives to vulnerable people in therapy or maybe she enjoys the power of messing with people’s minds.
"Now my sister is a therapist and I wonder what kind of advice she gives to vulnerable people in therapy" "There is a clinic in Switzerland that do things that can help you in ways that would be illegal here, and can end all your problems...."
8:57 in, and when they said "we've tried to help" i'd have said "i'll help you into a first class meeting wiht whatever god you wanna believe in" cause hell the fuck no you're not going to talk over me. My parents know not to do that anymore cause I will shut them down, shut them up and make them listen otherwise there will be nothing but them getting ignored till they want to learn their goddamn places.
you'd have reason to file charges for slander and defamation. Also if anyone goes through this in life, never contact your ex family, even if it is to invite them to a wedding. Let 'em go, Let 'em go, you dont need them anymore.... change phone number, change emails, delete social media, get therapy. if anyone ever asks, your family is dead and if partner asks, dead as in dead to you with absolutely no possible chance of reconciliation
in stories like this, I always ask if the parents have some money and if they planned on splitting it evenly between the kids. if so, then Leah is greedy and most likely wanted everything so she came up with these lies to get OP disinherited
How are you going to “make things right” after the “mistake” you made? Like my guy, that wasn’t a mistake. It was a choice. You chose to not hear Emma out when she even said that she had proof that Leah was lying. Yet you chose not to. That’s not a mistake, again it was a choice. Your choices cost you your daughter and now I hope she never forgives you. P.S. I want someone here to convince me that people can change. Because I really don’t think people can. Especially when you’ve been hurt by someone at this level of hurt. No matter how much they may have changed after what they did to you, you’ll never see it that way and that’s not a fault. It’s common sense.
Some people change, but most don't. If Leah has changed, she would know that it is up to her to prove it, if she can. She would also know that she might well not be forgiven anyway.
for afake saga no less: Literally right at the start there's a line: If you'd told me a YEAR ago that my own family would turn their back on me, i would have laughed", then as the story goes own, there's MULTIPLE years between events!
😂 I highly doubt Leah’s goal was to be successful on the first “attempt”. Most likely it was her way to take no accountability for her being caught doing drugs. She played her “woe is me” card set it up to look like an “attempt”. But yeah, regardless, her parents fell for it again and I can only wish her luck in her next attempt.
My father died, had five kids, and died alone, wasn't even a funeral. No one cared. Family are the people that are there for you, not just because of blood. The father sounds horrible. Imagine setting terms to the person you betrayed and abandoned
Okay so... the math ain't mathin here. Her sister would've been 11 or 12 at most, but her ex boyfriend 3 years later found OP in another city? He would've probably been14-16 at most.
even worse, literally right at the start there's a line: If you'd told me a YEAR ago that my own family would turn their back on me, i would have laughed", then as the story goes own, there's MULTIPLE years between events!
"It's about coming together as a family" "Yea, like when you kicked me out" "Your sister is sorry" "You keep saying that. "Your sister is sorry". Why do you do that? She forgot how to talk? She was talking an awful lot of shit a few years ago.. She can tell me herself, besides, she was a kid/teen. You're the adult, the parent. The one with the responsibility of my well being. I'm talking with you. What do YOU have to say? Unless it's "I've already called everyone who heard about your fake situation and explained how it was all a lie and that I'm a horrible father and was wrong and threw out my underage daughter to live alone in the streets because I'm useless and an idiot, and am now on my knees BEGGING you to give me another chance!", I don't want to hear it. So which is it "dad"? Are you gonna keep telling me how sorry my sis is, or are you going to tell me something I don't already know before I block you?" "wha.. you can't do" "Okay,, then I guess this is good bye. We'll never talk again. I'll leave you with these parting words from your daughter who once saw you as a hero, impeccable and perfect; "you are a horrible father, person and a pathetic man. I hope you burn in Hell for all eternity." Aaaaand, blocked. Bye."
It's heartbreaking how your sister's lies destroyed your life. You deserve better, and it's great that you're focusing on your happiness now. Stay strong!
"Our daughter is accusing our other daughter of being on drugs with zero proof, so lets abandon the daughter that we're assuming needs our help right now and then act shocked that she's not getting help for a drug addiction she doesn't have and doesn't want to talk to us anymore."
PEOPLE DON'T CHANGE UNLESS THE SAME THING HAPPENS TO THEM. NOV. 2024 CENTER OF ATTENTION ALWAYS. JUST BECAUSE YOUR HAPPY AND DIDN'T INVITE HER TO WEDDING.
The way I would have gotten a lawyer for defamation. Leah & my “parents” would have to see me in court where they could have a good view of who Leah TRULY is from the stand. Where all lies could be exposed & id ask for my “parents” to be rewarded with paying my lawyer fees once I won my case against their precious daughter 😡 The AUDACITY after all that & all those years….you’d ask to walk her down the aisle? And then introduce an ultimatum to the child you ABANDONED! FOH 🤬
People need to learn that when you wrong someone, you don't get to decide the terms or timeline of their forgiveness. You don't get to make demands. If the dad had just gone to the wedding alone as asked, that could have paved the way for OP to reform her relationships with Margaret and Leah down the line. She said on the phone that she wasn't ready to forgive, not that she never would. But his second betrayal was the final nail in the coffin of their old family.
Good on you girl. You left and moved on. Never go back, if they did this once they will do it again. Don't fk up your marriage over your half sister. Now change your number. This isn't over.
So many stories end with the OP making amends with their family after they pull stunts like this, I'm glad this OP was smart enough to see through their BS and note get sucked back into it
Well, while clearly fake (multiple errors in storytelling, such as OP knowing Leah was just jealous, and then suddenly surprised by the "revelation" that she was, from Dylan) this was quite entertaining and had an actually realistic ending. 4/5 story 👍
IF I was her, I would of said "I have no father, no sister whether blood/step/half or a step mother, plus when it came your old age then it is Leah's problem and not mine!!". Then hung up Blocking that number and email address. THEN when Margret rang saying about Leah, I would of said "You're problem and not mine. I do not know her and I do not know you!" then blocked the number. As for healing as a family?? WHAT FAMILY??? hahahahahaha
Just because they are your family doesn't mean you have to forgive them. Sometimes the family that is best for you and loyal to you is the one you choose to bring into your life. OP has her own family now, kudos to her.
as soon as the ultimatum id be like fine dont be there for me again and dont bother reaching out when you find out what could have been your grandchild is born
Unfortunately , mentally ill children do this shit. ,and end up losing children for ever, the straight children that have been accused never trust the former family Again. But set family participant usually end up busted
What a bunch of narcissists. Dad acting as if OP’s wedding was about them having a chance to become one broken family again rather than her wedding. Dylan acting like Leah suffering nullifies what she did, despite knowing what she’s like (this is what makes me question the reality of the story: how does he keep bumping into OP, keeps in touch with enough people to know where Leah is in life and what she wants)
Karma's a b*tch but once a trust is broken no matter what you do it won't be fix easily, you must give the person's trust you broke space and time to gather their thoughts and if you want to make amends with the person you hurt you must say only one sentence or paragraph "im sorry for what i did it wont be forgiven that easily but give me another chance" thats all nothing more nothing less
I'm sorry. I just can't understand the people who say families should come first, but then they pull shit like this. If you love them, you investigate and you forget teenagers lie, they do lie. No one is perfect, right? But you're willing to believe that I'm a lot more unforgiving than anyone else on here, I'm positive. If something, if this happened to me and then they figured out i'm not forgiving them, I don't want them in my life because I can never trust them again and I wouldn't
When op was falsely accused of being a cheap girl and an addict, the parent has no problem in kicking op out. But when leah finally admit the truth and in rehab, oh we must be united as a family? Leah should be kicked out for atleast the same period op had, then we can talk.
She told her parents SHE had proof Leah was lying and they said "We can't talk to you, until you do something to solve your issues. She could have produced 4K video of Leah admitting she was lying and not been believed. When there is a golden child parents will often not disbelieve that child regardless of silly things like evidence and facts.
OP should have told her dad from his first email not to contact her again. She kept getting suck into their nonsense. Her dad couldn't see that he was making everything about his other daughter. Instead of trying to mend his relationship with OP he kept choosing Leah. Sure OP thought about her Dad from time to time. She has a good life and has moved on from the past. Her dad closed the door to any reconciliation the day he gave OP an ultimatum regarding inviting her sister or he wasn't coming to the wedding. You can not sweep the betrayal of that magnitude under the rug. Everyone just has to move on with their lives separately.
The first thing anyone must do in this case is to call 911. To make the record of facts. Call 911 say there is a drug trade suspicion involving a minor. When the police arrives demand to hand them the evidence to investigate the possible culprits of the drug trade.
The second thing OP needed yo do is. Do the drug test, it will prove you did not take drugs within the last 3 weeks. And do the STD test. Present it to parents and demand parents to pay for the medical fees and the loss of salary during the leave from work.
Third thing you need to do in this situation is ask your dad 4 questions. 1. If I was on drugs, had std, was pregnant and did not know who the dad was. Will you research the rehabs, do the rehad registration formalities, and cover all the fees. Or you will try to protect Leah by keeping me away and ecpect me to cover rehab fees even if you knew I don't have enough money? 2. Are you open to the idea that you might be mistaken, and would be willing to look for evidence that prove otherwise. Or you made your mind and just need to solution to my misdeeds? 3. Do you think you and your wife would treat me differently if I was her biological daughter? # Show the negative medical results here # 4. What will we do from now on, that we are in this place already? Concerning the trust and love state between us. Concerning the therapy for Leah lie issues. Concerning therapy for your inequality and preferential treatments. Concerning defamation clause.
The irony is that Leah never once reached out herself. Not sure how rehab works but she could have wrote a letter or something. Also don't they teach you in therapy to leave people alone if they don't want to be spoken to?
What pisses me off about this story is that when the parents heard OP doing drugs & their decision was cutting OP out of their lives & letting OP “fix” herself but were there for Leah through her hard times & even asking for OP’s support.
yeah, they fucking believed that leah's word and didnt have two brain cells to do drug test once
Absolutely! It's infuriating how they treated OP when they needed support. It's so hypocritical!
Wowowowow I didn’t even think of that that’s fucked this dad n stepmom ganna end up in a old folks home 💀
Lea was the golden child who could do no wrong, and op was the unwanted child could do no right.

@@obesus787I think they know that. It's similar to yelling at a television. They don't actually expect the actors to hear them.
@@maxpowers9129 Yeah a lot of AITA and relationship stories from Reddit are probably fake, but there are probably people out there that can relate to them with similar situations, and there a lot of cops and CPS workers who have had first-hand experience dealing with much worse situations. i got an ex who went that route, (shes married to an old buddy of mine who knows her family.. who still are not aware hes married to the daughter they discarded based on wht they now are very very very aware were lies.. ), they did find out she was getting married years after some of her former friends told her parents the truth after hearing them badmouth her.. when confronted.. she denied, deflected and projected... but she had lost most of her friends after they all started drinking and she would brag about how she got rid of her sister..
what really fcked with them was... when the grandparents on both sides were given the whole story by a 3rd party who was also screwed by the sister... the parennts learned they were considered dead by the rest of the family and, some relations went so far as to put obituraries in local papers and used them to get the idiots FB pages turned into memorials.. (hard AF to reverse...)
when word got out why the grandparents did it it wasnt dicated more... "we stand with the victim", having talked to grandad, when he goes, he made up "fqu boxes" he ads crap to over time for the "parents" and "sister"... sisters kids wont find out they each have a trust till they are 25, to keep it away from mom and their grandparents...
anyway... when the reality got out... well she went to the reunions for HS and the local college and let them all know she didnt forgive them, they believed and spread lies, isolated her, nearly drove her to kill herself until she moved out of town, over some pretty obvious lies... like... her sister had ppl spreading she was fucking dozens of men a day and ppl bought it... yet she was around other people in groups 99% of the day... often till ate due to clubs... never had time to do that shit... didnt matter... they spread the lies and believed them...
there were 3 people she didnt need to forgive... they never turned on her they just had their own shit going on that left them all in a very bad state and caused all of them to leave town... one when she was 16, she just vanished ended up living here with her grandmother who did not inform her parents where she was and who already had all her paperwork so. she was in school and thriving for a few years before the parents thought to contact her, when she told them no, they couldnt stay at her place when they where in town, she didnt have the space... they argued and tried to stay anyway... funny watching them endup in a very very very bad motel 90min away because it was the only one with open rooms in the area.... when they realized their daughter they had never bothered to report missing was living with grandmother and considered herself an orphan and thats how everybody else saw it including grandma and friends/etc who knew the reality of her situation... took them years longer to figure out the sister just wanted anything and everything her sister had....
only seen one case of bothers like this and.... in that case grandma caused taht shit and once the 2 realized she was playing them against eachother because she was a sick twiste woman, they teamed up to give her a hell of a show.. the woman was 100% sure she caused her grandson to kill her other grandson and.. they kept the big going for a whole summer... she gave so much money and bought him a huge expensive RV to "bug out" in... LOL.. when bro showed back up after his wedding trip.. gran thought he was a ghost and he went with it... he wont even lie, he hoped she would have an 'episode' and just expire.... she didnt but she became convinced she was losing her mind... ended up signing power of atny and the kids put her in a home in FL that her insurance would cover...
"oh, you want to play mind games... are you really sure you want to do this?"
shit... i had an owner howling and a millenial crying once from malitious compliance and doing "exactly what he said" as he told us to.. the fact 18 other guys all went along with me.. knowing what he wanted.. yeah the owner was dying laughing...that guy spent the next.. 6hrs repacking boxes and moving them inside... we unloaded the boxes from the trailers and unpacked them... as he said to... LOL... owner called me an a-hole and gave me a 1 arm hug... around the shoulders as he thanked me for the laugh... and the lesson in malcomp.. LOL

OP lost her family the day they believed Leah. OP should treat it as a death, greave and move on. Her father's loss. when people show you who they are we MUST believe them.
No, these OPs stay close to their abusers and refuse to let them go.
I ought to use that Cain and Abel bit😂
Walking a daughter down the aisle is not what you do at the beginning of reconciliation. It is the result of having a restored relationship with your daughter.
One of the worst fakes ever.
She's 24, the sister 12ish, but speaks like an adult and has friends on drugs? Not adding up at all.
OP is a far better person because if I’d heard “Leah tried to hurt herself” I would’ve immediately called back to say “try harder.”
"I can't turn my back on Leah, she's my daughter too"
So was I, and you were fine with turning your back on me.
I could never forgive them
the parents are pathetic.
Another story which boiled my blood 🙂🙂🙂🙂
F those parents!! They don't deserve to be called op's parents! They were just the person who raised her but treated her worse than a dog!! F off!
My blood evaporated
Please it's fake
Drug test would have prevented this entire thing.
"she's family"
Where was that attitude when you kicked me out?
So many loopholes in the story. AI should try better to write these stories. She was kicked out of her job without a drug test. Nor did she offer a drug test to her family. She mentioned her bio mom but that mom didn't help her??? What happened to her degree/college certificate? Why couldn't she get a job on her educational merits? In real life the elder sister would have showed her sibling her place by slapping her across the room.
also the timescales conflict utterly:
Literally right at the start there's a line: If you'd told me a YEAR ago that my own family would turn their back on me, i would have laughed", then as the story goes own, there's MULTIPLE years between events!
"Now my sister is a therapist and I wonder what kind of advice she gives to vulnerable people in therapy"
"There is a clinic in Switzerland that do things that can help you in ways that would be illegal here, and can end all your problems...."
Even with the full story Ops parents can only see half the picture. It’s not up to them for Op to reconnect, it’s on Ops terms
you'd have reason to file charges for slander and defamation.
Actually I’m with you on this one I would’ve told them to prove it
Some people change, but most don't. If Leah has changed, she would know that it is up to her to prove it, if she can. She would also know that she might well not be forgiven anyway.
THIRTY FOUR MINUTES FOR A SAGA that can be told in 5 minutes. Must be a Japanese anime video originally!
I know! So many words to say the same thing over - and over - and over!
for afake saga no less:
Literally right at the start there's a line: If you'd told me a YEAR ago that my own family would turn their back on me, i would have laughed", then as the story goes own, there's MULTIPLE years between events!
It took me 5 minutes to understand this story was made by AI. To help with this bullshit stories, this should be illegal
A way better ending would be OP living her best life. The father and Margret divorced, Leah successful in her attempt at the end of the story
Well, you can't accuse AI of being arithmetically competent, lol.
That does happen, sadly
Yeah these stories are so bad and fake
Funny to listen but fake
@@shells500tutubo Yes. AI also frequently confuses step and half siblings, mothers and mothers-in-law, fathers and fathers-in-law etc.
even worse, literally right at the start there's a line: If you'd told me a YEAR ago that my own family would turn their back on me, i would have laughed", then as the story goes own, there's MULTIPLE years between events!
17:58 before listening to the rest of the story. If Op even thinks about reconnecting she would be stupid
"It's about coming together as a family"
"Yea, like when you kicked me out"
"Your sister is sorry"
"You keep saying that. Are you gonna keep telling me how sorry my sis is, or are you going to tell me something I don't already know before I block you?"
"wha.. you can't do"
"Okay,, then I guess this is good bye.
S 1 You can easily find out if someone is doing drugs because a blood test will detect traces of the drugs themselves or break down products.
S 1 OP has a mother. Just one mention and then nothing. WTF
@@seraglioborneo28032 mentions, it was mentioned that she had gotten distant with her mother after she remained neutral during the whole thing.
"Our daughter is accusing our other daughter of being on drugs with zero proof, so lets abandon the daughter that we're assuming needs our help right now and then act shocked that she's not getting help for a drug addiction she doesn't have and doesn't want to talk to us anymore."
PEOPLE DON'T CHANGE
UNLESS THE SAME
THING HAPPENS
TO THEM.
NOV. 2024
CENTER OF ATTENTION ALWAYS.
JUST BECAUSE YOUR HAPPY
AND DIDN'T INVITE HER TO WEDDING.
Thankfully, this is fake.
The way I would have gotten a lawyer for defamation. Leah & my “parents” would have to see me in court where they could have a good view of who Leah TRULY is from the stand. Where all lies could be exposed & id ask for my “parents” to be rewarded with paying my lawyer fees once I won my case against their precious daughter 😡
The AUDACITY after all that & all those years….you’d ask to walk her down the aisle? And then introduce an ultimatum to the child you ABANDONED! FOH 🤬
People need to learn that when you wrong someone, you don't get to decide the terms or timeline of their forgiveness. You don't get to make demands. If the dad had just gone to the wedding alone as asked, that could have paved the way for OP to reform her relationships with Margaret and Leah down the line. She said on the phone that she wasn't ready to forgive, not that she never would. But his second betrayal was the final nail in the coffin of their old family.
Op could have done a drug test to prove she wasn’t on drugs!
Good on you girl. You left and moved on.
Never go back, if they did this once they will do it again.
Don't fk up your marriage over your half sister.
Now change your number. This isn't over.
So many stories end with the OP making amends with their family after they pull stunts like this, I'm glad this OP was smart enough to see through their BS and note get sucked back into it
Yeah, even if you forgive someone, doesn't mran they deserve a second chance. There are things that can't be forgotten.
She is weak.
Unfortunately , mentally ill children do this shit. ,and end up losing children for ever, the straight children that have been accused never trust the former family Again. But set family participant usually end up busted
I would have said as I was walking out " AT LEAST MY REAL MOM BELIEVES ME UNLIKE YOU TWO" and then walked out
Man I would have been so petty and vindictive if I was OP lol.
Although I believe that most of these readings are untrue and/or grossing exaggerated. Still there are some interesting "life lessons" presented.
Bullshit story. At first she's living on her own then she's kicked out and crashing with friends. Bullshit story.
Leah should be kicked out for atleast the same period op had, then we can talk.
why didn't you demand she show PROOF!
She told her parents SHE had proof Leah was lying and they said "We can't talk to you, until you do something to solve your issues. She could have produced 4K video of Leah admitting she was lying and not been believed.
When there is a golden child parents will often not disbelieve that child regardless of silly things like evidence and facts.
says she is getting kicked because of lies, doesn't live at home. inconsistent.
At last a story where the op has the Commons sense to not go back to the place were they were hurt.
So a drug test wasn't an option 🙃
# Show the negative medical results here #
