    Just got this monitor today, holy moly it is a beast and beautiful to look at! Just need to tweak the settings to your liking and you're ready to go, but the control menu is very intuitive and easy to customize. The standard setting is also very good right out of the box in my opinion. Seriously great monitor!

    • @MaxsZers
      @MaxsZers 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      What config u running? I put sRGB and upped the brightness to 85, just installed the monitor 20 mins ago, I didnt really like the stock settings. Waiting for ur answer bro!

    • @themrqwertymarkOriginal
      @themrqwertymarkOriginal 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@MaxsZers I personally love the FPS stock setting, but I turned the brightness down to 90 because 100 was a bit much in a darker room at night. Gamma 1 is definitely my favorite, the rest all look washed out imo and the FPS setting has all of the other settings perfectly how I like them at stock.

    I bought it. I have one 27 inch 1080p 144hz LG monitor with is the same panel construction. And a 4k 120hz TV. The gigabyte indeed has a narrower viewing angle, but for gaming is fine. What struck me as odd is the back-light bleed in the lower corners with is noticeable in darker images. I wonder If I can mitigate this somehow. I did not test the smooth mode. I'm pairing this with a recent acquired RX 6800 and the result in gaming is absolutely awesome. For productivity I'll be using the TV because it offers much more real estate. Just that. Great review, I'll be coming back

I wish that the type-c cable also had charging up to 65w for a laptop but it supports only 10-15w i think for mobile devices. There nothing else on that price range... 10/10 from me

    Unfortunately, if you install the OSD Sidekick it also installs RGB Fusion (no way around this) and it will install it with every update. This in turns affects ASUS, Razer or any other RGB software you already have. You manually have to uninstall RGB Fusion and hope you get back your control of RGB. you did the UFO ghost test completely wrong! you have to match the camera speed with the UFO speed, because we don’t stare straight ahead to track moving objects - we lock on with our eyes. UFO Ghost Test accounts for not just ghosting, but but the human eye (which is why you still get blurry looking motion if you have perfect image clarity and a low refresh rate)

    • @fuegoman
      @fuegoman 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm between the M27Q and the G27QC too. One IPS, other VA. The colour quality and brightness is similar in fact (the VA version sets 250 nits at maximum in specs, but all the reviews says that it can go much higher than that, in HDR mode over 330-360 nits), and the VA has the black equalizer mode wich removes a great part of the ghosting. Both panels are really similar in pixel speed surely. In fact, the biggest differences I saw between them is the curve, the contrast and the viewing angles. In case you want a better contrast and the curvature isn't a problem, G27QC is the option. On the other hand, if you don't like curved screens and you want better viewing angles, M27Q. Both are great options.

    I have this monitor. Everything is almost perfect. The only thing I hate about this monitor is the colors . It always looks swuishy and yellowish. You can adjust brightness but it might ruined your monitor just like mine. I tried adjusting the monitor After adjusting it into higher brightness and other settings my monitor starts to bleed at evrery corners. Maybe its because monitor has a limit if you adjust every settings into higher level such as brightness, gamma, color, etc it will ruined the monitors backlight.

    • @dickybalboa825
      @dickybalboa825 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Aditya Jaiman Yes it has backlight bleed after 1 month. I notice it everytime I play in my room without lights. I can suggest that there is still better than thisb but it cost you more. If your looking for a budget go for msi mag274r. Thats what im using right now.

    Hesetating between this one and the MSI Optix mag272cqr. How good is the response time really on this one? Does it really get the 0.5 ms? Doubt it.. And then the Backlight Bleed.. I think the MSI is the better allrounder. Although this one has some good pros aswell.. Tough. Anybody maybe with some other recommendations around the same price range?
