You should give the FreeJoy v1.7.0b3 software a look. It's super easy for calibrating - just press the pedals all the way a couple of times and it figures out the rest during the calibration process. I tweaked the deadzone on my brake and clutch because that's typically where I keep my foot. The software has this feature for adjusting the output curve, though I haven't actually tried it.
I found the pedals too hard, especially the brake ones. Do you think so too? Do you know how to resolve this? Move only in the position of the springs, for me it is not softening.
Do you have the damper fitted also? If so try removing this. Many people think they are too soft - I like them as they are. Try and join the facebook group, more people to ask there.
Thank you so much, this really helped me understand what i need to do. But do i need to have DIview running in the background all the time when using the pedals?
@melv45 thanks mate, I'm actually setting up some used HE pedals and your DIview was the easiest for me to understand. Cheers for that. I play rF2, AMS2 and AC mostly nut have em all on my PC.
Try under/over calibrating them. Adjust the raw values to be well inside any area where the load cells are activated. They are very sensitive so can take some time to find the sweet spot. It’s been a while since I looked at it but will try again. Free joy is also good and the standard windows joystick calibration tool.
@@SimRacingEh - yes i think thats correct from memory. The range is a number of steps, it shouldnt matter if its from -10000 to 10000 or 10000 to 20000 for example.
I really had a problem adding the minus sign.... never thought about copy and paste.... thank you so much!!
The minus is a real pain!

Yes i have tried it and it was good. Between this, DiView or even windows calibration people are finding solutions.
Thanks for the video i just recieved my pedals
I have simJack pros but my pedal input keeps flickering. What am I doing wrong? Like with braking it flickers bewteen 50% and 70%

No, you should only need to calibrate once and it’s done and no need to keep software open. Which sim are you driving in?
Also there is a version of free joy that is good for calibration and setting dead zones.

@@AdamEHuss What do you use to calibrate them?
my simjack pedals work good but they twitch allot on the Diview app or in games, do you know a fix?

is there a way to save it ? my save icon in diview is always greyed out . i dont want to calibrate it evey time again
Maybe try the Freejoy version
Hi, I accidentally pressed the flash button. now the box of the pedals is no longer recognized. Is there a way to reset this?
Possibly. If you go to the facebook or discord group we have teh firmware files to re-flash
Will these pedals work with the F1 games? Have you tested it?
I haven't tested with F1 but they should be compatible with any PC sim.
@@melv45 thank you just doing some research because I wanna build an F1 focused rig
they do work
What do I do if my raw data number won't go above a negative value? Mine won't go into the positives for whatever reason
It doesn’t matter. Just calibrate in the range that you have.
@@melv45ok, so set my max value with whatever negative it says?
