Some of the Sim Jack pedals (like the Pro, not sure about the mini) are based on FreeJoy, which is a much better option for calibration and setup than DIView where it’s supported.
received my Pro 2 days ago and Freejoy says incompatible firmware. What did you actually have to do to get the pedals recognized? going through a firmware process and if so, can you share?
I used this software works great for throttle and the clutch but the brake itself is not working the data show is not being set on the pedal as it works in assetto corsa I can set my brake to work for something like 20%-40% no other games let me map them it doesn’t even pick them up when I press down on the brake pedal any ideas? I followed this guide and others using diview
Thats good content thank you. Can you make a long term review for the pedals? Im planning to buy the long version since it seems a bit little and lower. What is your thoughts about the pedal? Is it good for competitive racing in ACC? Do you think its worth to upgrade from TLCM or other entry level LC pedals?
Neither DiView or DXTweak worked for me. The raw numbers coming out of my pedals were VERY negative so that neither program would allow me to input negative values in both MIN and MAX boxes in the calibration menu. For example; one of my pedals had raw outputs of -13000 at rest and -4200 fully pressed. Even DXTweak won't allow you to input a negative number in the MAX box. I'm sure there is a logical explanation on why DiView and DXTweak can't handle negative values; but it seems very strange. If it is just data outputs from the pedals, why can't it take any kind of manually entered input??? I ended up calibrating the pedals through Windows control panel without any deadzones or short calibration and then did some tweaking in Content Manager (i'm playing Assetto Corsa) to get my start/stop deadzones were I wanted them. Haven't tried other sims yet, so perhaps I'll have an issue somewhere else. But this is working for me so far.
I do cover how to insert negative numbers in the video. If you copy and paste the negative number including the - symbol from notepad, Diview should take the number.
I have an issue I have been working with. I cannot get my throttle pedal to 100 precent. When pushed down to the max I am only at 20 percent of throttle. I have done these steps over and over again but I can never get my throttle above that 20 percent. What am I missing?
Did Ou hear about resolution problems with sim jack? Do the cammus lc100 also have the same resolution, do you think it's all interconnected that way? Fanatec, thrustmaster etc. Thanks
I Just saw it in a comment on a different yt video. There is a ytber Who tested some things on it (but yt doesn't notify me for answers to my comments, so I'll go and check for answers and I'll leave a link here for reference). I'm also looking forward to the simsonn review. My question is about the sensors they use, could it be different than fanatecs? There was a discussion on reddit Where they concluded that we can't find out) (i mean the sensors for pedals move and resolution) cheers
I got that info from the comments on this yt video. There he says there's about 300 positions per pedals but i have no idea how he came to the conclusion. I don't want to be coping, but they seem to be advertise at 16K, hence i asked, even if they are of a lower resolution, maybe all the brands do that kind of false advertising. Thanks!
@@myonlineusername6015 I've used a bunch of pedals over the years with load cells. I can tell you from my experience, these pedals are just fine, and just like any other load cell type of pedal I've used. Obviously, there are differences in the pedal design, and load cell weight capacity. But the sensor resolution is not something you can tell a difference between any of them, even if there is one. Hi i wonder if you can help i tried to calibrate my pedals , i have done the throttle perfectly but the clutcth wont drop below 60 percent starting point no matter what values i put in the minimum box, how can i start from scratch? Any help would be appreciated, thanks
When you change the minimum value, you're adding dead zone, so it should have some kind of effect, that's as much as I can tell you if you're doing it as shown in the video. Otherwise, potentially the controller board has a fault or the pedal sensor. If you're using a pedal set with an external controller board that you can swap the cables around, you can test this by putting the throttle in the clutch controller board socket, and see if the problem persists when you use DIVIEW and run through the setup. And of course, try the clutch in the throttle socket as well.

It could be related to the CSL DD, as it's a wheelbase that does have some EMI issues. Something I've demonstrated in the past with particular VR head sets th-cam.com/video/D9aIwRDnTjk/w-d-xo.html .
