    Actually the Turbo 2.0 handles the 37s much better than the v6, plus you don't need to regear the Rubi 4.10s. I'm getting 19.5 MPGs with 37s and 2.5 lift with the same 2door JLR setup. Looks and Runs great on and off road... Congrats!!!

      I have to absolutely agree! That turbo makes a heck of a difference and we are loving it! Thanks for watching the video we look forward to making more content about this JL and congrats as well on your build I’m sure it looks awesome!

    I’ve fixed or solved several death wobble issues on these newer jeeps by replacing the track bar with the steer smarts one tone track bar. People are so happy when I install this $250-$300 part and they never experience death wobble again !!! I don’t believe replacing the steering stabilizer will fix this issue. It may help for a bit but that’s it. Great, awesome looking ride!!! Love the stance!!!! Thanks!!!

    My first Rubicon was a 2 door but this time I decided to go with the JLU and honestly it seems to turn on a dime like the 2 door did. I have the Xtreme Recon and thinking about going to 37's since it seems like I don't have to do any additional lift to make the change. I like the way the 2 door looks with this set up.

    How did 1.5" spacers work, thought the jeep studs would be too long and hit the inside of the wheel and not sit flush? I got 1.75" but I really would like shorter. What brand are they? Also what tpms sensors are you using my back 2 wouldn't pick up they're too far away?

    • @wsjovrlnd
      @wsjovrlnd  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Mark,
      The 1.5” spacers work great I wanted to avoid any inner fender rub and it did that however I am getting just a little bit of rub on the rock sliders but I plan to trim those a little bit other than that they work great these are from teraflex and my tpms sensors kicked in right away maybe try rotating the tires ?

      Why did you use wheel spacers and not just get the correct offset rim

  • @DJ_Death_Star
    @DJ_Death_Star 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I guess I might have gotten wheels with the correct backspacing instead of using wheel spacers. I just don’t see using spacers if I am buying wheels anyway. If I was staying with the stock wheels, I could justify the expense and using the spacers...but nice build for sure

    • @LukeEdward
      @LukeEdward 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      My thoughts exactly. I learned a long time ago, “If you have to run spacers, you do not have the right wheels.” Thus, I ordered 5 new wheels with the correct backspacing for 12.50W tires.

    Load E tires like yours on a small lightweight Wrangler 2-dr the PSI needs to be around 22-25lbs. In your video you are running 37-38psi and that is way too high. Do a chalk test. Looks good tho. Cooper STT Pros are some beasts

    Cool jeep, and additions, but wouldn't it be more Beneficial to do this to a sport model? Considering you are replacing alot of expensive Rubicon parts? Or does 5his not affect the Rubicon package? Looks great though

    • @wsjovrlnd
      @wsjovrlnd  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thank you!
      A big advantage of the rubicon is that you get front and rear Dana 44 axles, front and rear lockers and sway bar disconnect. With the sport you don’t get the lockers and I believe on the jls you only get the rear Dana 44 axle. Things we replaced are wheels, tires, and shocks nothing that takes away from the rubicon components just enhances them 😎 however the sport is a great options if you’re just starting to get into off-road.

    You probably already did this but you should never set your tire size based on what you think it is. Measure your tire once mounted and that is the setting you are looking for. Most 37s are really 35.5 - 36 inches once mounted.
