Good info to know. So much conflicting info out there. Some people say yes, some no. Nice to have a video showing exact problem areas. Brad from TrailRecon has a 392 XR and he had some pretty decent rubbing on it but some 0.75" puck spacers in the front solved his rubbing issues with no other mods. Still, that Willys XR looks incredible with that wheel and tire setup.

So I have the high tide. I put the teraflex 1.5 lift spacers and the jks rear 2” bump stop pads on to make sure I have enough clearance. I went with the smaller 37s being the ko2 load range c to save in weight. And also the fox 2.0 shocks. I recalibrated with the ecri. My Jeep rides great. But I did find out that I’ll need longer sway bar end links. Otherwise the front geometry is off and the rear sway bar literally hits my shocks at full droop. My biggest complaint is that even with the 4.56 gears, my Jeep is constantly jumping out of 8th gear on the expressway. Anything 65-70 and above, if you sneeze wrong it will downshift. And that’s with it calibrated perfectly speed wise. I’m weighing between suspending another 400 to get new endlinks including the jks flex connects or just ripping everything back off and going back to the stock 35s. I would love anyone’s input. Oh and by the way, the 37 ko2 load c tires get their weight saving by making them drastically skinnier than they advertise. My stock 315 35s are way wider.

@@DIRTROADCRED mmmmmmm... I placed the order for the Rubicon so I could pick the package groups I wanted instead of the Rubicon X. But they had the 35" tire package so I got that. I'm hoping for the best as the salesman was not very informed. I test drove a 2023 Hightide that had the 35" tires to test the ride quality and I am hoping it is lifted like that

Fyi, never put the lug nuts on the drill and then screw them in. Always start them first then use the drill next. You really risk cross threading and damaging it to where you won’t be able to put the lug nut on. Just an fyi

@@DIRTROADCRED In my experience with many trucks and Jeeps, when you mount a larger tire on a lower offset wheel you get tire closer to the bumper and rear of the wheel well because it has a wider sweep as you’re turning the wheels. The only clearance issue I’ve ever run into on stock wheels are the inner tire sidewall on things like sway bar and control arms…Usually much better clearance at the bumper and rear wheel well on a stock offset wheel, too bad you weren’t able to try that and really see for sure. I might have to try on my new ‘23 XR Rubicon on stock wheels.

35” good enough and that little bitty v6 can almost move the jeep along. If jeep mgt had any brains whatsoever , the Hurricane straight 6 twin turbo 500hp would be the smallest option for engines. Of course Jeep mgt has zero brain power so Hurricane isn’t in anything jeep but some crap like the suv junk and of course the Chrysler trucks. Go figure
