Welcome back to the melting Muppets channel , Just a quick video today as I've had the busiest week over here. Got the patio up and it looks great a few other bits and pieces on the wall and I'm slowly getting things cleaned up and sorted in the shed so everything will start to look a bit prettier in future videos, well, let's hope so anyway. Pretty simple melt this week and a definite great addition to the stack so sit back relax enjoy the video and most importantly have an awesome weekend and catch you all on the next one 👋🏻😆.
Always a joy watching your vids would definitely love to see you do some cast iron bars in the future (lots of fun shapes and projects to be done with that metal)
I feel very envious. You are earning money with this channel, saving on metals while you dedicate yourself to your hobby. Let me be envious of your ability to connect with so many people, seem skilled, smart, eco-friendly, and at the same time profit from it. Everything at once. I envy you.
I love it when you stamp them! Makes them look official and cool. Loved how you melted the last bits of aluminum with a torch in that tiny ceramic dish!!!!! Thanks! Nice big patio. You really making your new place your guys.
Ingot & Bulion always put a smile on my face as they so chill & ingots a genius for using that rug as his scratch post. Also really find your vlogs truly relaxing tyvm. 👍🏼
Just did the same with 5 alternators a few weeks back. Copper was great. Aluminum not so great. Look forward to your entertainment every week. You are much appreciated. 🤙🌺🌴🐟
Watching this video during my break from cleaning up after our Hurricane Helene last night. Man..., in the next few weeks, there'll be tons and tons of scrap metal sitting out on people's curbs, all up and down the coast of Florida and throughout the south!
4:30 Friday ,done shopping, time for big stack d. Nice to see you wearing gloves today. Nice hotdog snack, but im in Chicago, never ketchup on a dog. mustard, onion, pickle, tomato and sport hot peppers on a poppy seed bun.❤❤❤
Haven't watched in a fair few months. It was like welcoming an old friend back into the house. Worried something had happened to the boys but you snuck them in at the end. Keep it up
Awesome patio!! I was anxious to see it! Also I loved the cool little flip/catch you did with the heart piece around 27:55. Another fantastic video my guy. ❤
Thanks buddy! Yeah, that stack is growing bigger by the day! Cheers for the super thanks mate I don’t know how I missed this one but I really appreciate it mate ! sorry for getting back to you this late buddy. I just finished uploading this weeks video with a few hours to spare. Absolutely flat out over here lately. I got a big motor melt coming up in 2 or 3 weeks. This thing is just under 700 kg so will be the biggest one I’ve done and I must admit, I am looking forward to it and I’m not looking forward to it if that makes sense👍🏻 have a great day buddy👊🏻😁.
Some nice copper, melted nice and into one of them pretty copper bars, and you went all out on the shine and stamp. Nice! Patio looks nice, some extra room for whatever you decide goes there. Have a wonderful weekend!
Thanks 👍 Yes, I was absolutely amazed with how much copper was in both of those little items. I’ll definitely be trying to source some more of them 👍🏻.
"My friend, your passion for working with metals and the skills you've shown in this craft are truly admirable! You've become an artist, melting copper, aluminum, and similar metals. Congratulations on elevating this hobby to such a professional level! I'm sure your creativity and mastery will take you even further. Wishing you continued success!"
it's about time my bigstackd got a sponsor or two, tools, batteries, blades and a certain fast n furious beverage. could probably make a crusher with a car jack and some creative thinking. spy plane bothering someone else today lol. must have a few fairly full jars. might have to set up the drill holed forge on an angle with that many to melt. love me some bigsnackd, always looks yummy, i still remember the out of date jokes etc lol. love the addition, all cleaned up and looking good. i think the wheels on the wheelie bin will be much more forgiving than the current wheels on the cart, kinder to the floor and quieter too. hey thank you for posting, rain or shine i know my weekend starts once i've seen a bsd melt. always mate to the end. see you next weekend and a happy weekend to all. yay monkey time, lol looks like he left his motor running, bless you ingot, so cute together sunbathing
Nice melt Big D! You really do need a little milling machine to clean up those bars! That verandah came up real nice! You need one now for the melting area! The machine is coming along nicely mate! Have a good one mate. Talk soon.
Yes definitely. Actually, I’m thinking when you get here hopefully I’ll be in front by a day or two (bloody doubt it!!! ) but If I am maybe we’ll go Look at a couple of mini milling machines as you’re definitely the expert, so you can point me in the right direction👍🏻 , the only problem is, it’s a four hour round-trip, but it might be worth it. Yes, the cutter Crusher coming up awesome it’s gonna be a welcome addition to the workshop for sure. Anyway buddy I best let you go and be catching up with you when less than two weeks👊🏻😁🍻🍻🍻.
@@bigstackD that sign on your melting furnace whenever you cover that with those plastic things I want to have the rest gets there even know when the still covered

Man I love the 1hr vids but I understand that there’s a lot that goes into them so it’s nice to have a shorter video once in a while. Also your videos have helped me relax before bed for quite a while now and I appreciate them 😁
Glad you like them! Yes, the longer videos can take me an extra day or two Just in editing, and if I had more time I would be putting out minimum 60 minute videos every week as that gives me more time and can make more beer money but unfortunately life just gets in the way sometimes but not to worry. This Friday I’m cleaning up the slag/dust shelf and it’s probably gonna be six or seven melts if not more so I’m thinking, it’ll be at least an hour👊🏻😁.
Nice patio, make sure you insulate the underside of the patio to block some of the radiant heat that will be coming through during the summer and add ceiling fans
Yes I hear ya , I’m gonna see how hot it gets under here first, but some strong ceiling fans would definitely be a good idea I reckon. I’m quite used to working in 40°C+ heat so I’m thinking the fans would move around some of that dry heat and make it a lot more bearable. Plus I have a couple big industrial fans if it gets too hot I’ll just crank them up at each end or even set up some type of misting cooling system, but obviously I would turn that off when I’m gonna pour the metal into the molds 👍🏻. I don’t want to insulate just yet as I quite like the look of the dark roof from below👊🏻😁.
I, for one, am glad you're making shorter videos again. I can devote a half hour to watching. Anything longer, I just can't do. Especially with no talking.
Nice addition to your work area! Good choice on having the color side down too. Decorative so you can see it and not the spy planes, plus it'll keep it cooler in the heat you get. Doi your AEG batteries run out fast with your grinder? My DeWalt ones do.
America here, I know you guys drive on the wrong side of the road but I didn’t know you guys eat your HOT DOGS from the center outward! Crazy crazy place! For those who don’t have a sense of humor, this is humor, joking fun!
He may or may not have been referencing one of our politicians who publicly ate a hot dog like that at an election, said politician got destroyed by the media for it.
As usual a very cool video. Waiting for it every since more than one year. It will be great to see metal dust / little slags melting from all your reserve! Thank you! Greetings from Italy😊
I'm sure you already know but just in case you don't: the cast iron from last week, it's not produced anymore but it's used by knife makers. They use it for the non-edge part of the knives and etch it with acid to reveal the grain structure. Pretty sure they'd pay you for ingots of the stuff.
Patio is looking great brother! Great to see you progress on the place. Soon you'll have the new addition that Grumpy is building to play with hopefully it gets a featured home. Have a great day and keep on melting! Loving the midweek melts too!
Indeed matey , my mate Tony or as you know him, Grumpy Harley rider will be here in less than two weeks, so he’s definitely gonna help me choose a nice milling machine as I definitely want one of them and he is the Australian expert 😁👍🏻
Patio looks great! I would suggest some sort of side coverings because when it's raining and the wind is blowing, it will be like you have nothing there, especially with the high ceiling. 0.02
Crusty, dusty, musty and rusty. Melts just fine though. For as much advertising as you've done for AEG they do owe you a few batteries. Heck maybe they can give you the one tool that you don't own of theirs, if there is one.
I have been watching for about 3 years now, and I just now realized that in all of your videos, you have yet to do a casting of a beer bottle or can yet! There needs to be a Nordic gold casting of a corona or copper of a bud light or something!
