I'm a safety officer in Australia and I'm furious on your behalf that such unsafe practices are allowed to happen... you work hard for your families but suffer terrible consequences. Best Aluminium on the market today and there health & safety world class, they seriously got lean manufacturing down to a fine art. I really impressed with the guy that was pouring the Aluminium into the moulds the way he managed not to get any on his new steel cap regulation work shoes was just 👌👌
Aluminum is my favorite metal, its so good at almost everything and is very abundant in the Earth but is so easily recycled also. It brings you your electricity, makes your car go, and drinks easy to drink.
They do like making work for themselves, tip all the ingots on the floor and then spend the next 20 minutes picking them up, it seems a common theme on this type of video

dirt doesnt mix in the metal it floats on top and all foundries make large ingots to be made into other items , its easier to ship or move a large ingot or slab

Hete aluminium cans are also shredded and then melted to make aluminium rods which are further used to make dofferent aluminium items like aluminium wire, aluminium bars, aluminium windows and aluminium cooking utensils etc.
Between the toxic smoke and the crazy heat, employee turnover must be nuts! I can't imagine anybody lasting more than a few months at that kind of work.
The thick black smoke that arises when they throw tin cans in the oven, reminds me of the toxic smoke where firefighters cope with. This is the result of combustion of the paint layer on the thin cans, and I think it is not good for heatlh and environment

I poured molten aluminum for 19 years,we don't do it much differently here in the US..Never wore any kind of respirator..OSHA there many times,it's of no concern to them at all

I’ve seen a guy pickup items move them 3 feet and throw them back onto a pile, I have no idea why. This is just aluminum, there are videos that show foundry workers casting steel in bare feet.
