Hey there once again all you beautiful People good to see you back here again with the melting Muppet. Just a quick simple one today as I really want to get that big 690 kg Motor melted down for next week and it's gonna be a tough job but a fun one , so if you like Copper be sure to check it out because I'm hoping for 40 or 50 kg 🤞🏻. Anyway, as I always say sit back relax enjoy the video and I hope you have an amazing weekend 👋🏻😃
@26:52 - Wednesday night the 6th i pan fried onions in olive oil, then a low grade beef filet in the pan and had those with heated refried beans, Bourbon and Beer for my beverage, turned out very tasty. this video is a Like 👍
Good morning from Dayton, Texas. Been watching for about 2 years now and enjoy every moment watching the melts and relaxing. Give the monkeys a scratch. As for the disc polish the inside to a mirror shine and hang as a mirror in the vault.
That gate piece,,,, stamp something on it,, picture frame,, drink coaster,, or, paint something to the inner surface. I’m referring to your incredible free hand ability. I’ve been here a while.
Seeing that valve flap made me think of a medal. Run some ribbon through the catch/barrel point, and you could have your own medal ceremony following what will likely be an Olympic Melt with that massive motor. You would deserve it. You're the best melting videos online. If only it was Nordic Gold or Copper instead of brass. 🥇
I thought it was cool how that brass cap fit perfectly on top of the crucible. Looks like you are heading into more summery like weather. I'll get back to watching the video. Cheers back at ya.
Watching from North Carolina always a Friday favorite thing to watch what you melt and to see the monkeys ingot and bullion. Thank you and have a great weekend!
Not a bad pour at all. Keeping the temperature just above the melting point helps a lot in maintaining the consistency throughout. The resultant ingots look very clean and not as, 'lumpy', as some we've seen in the past. A good effort overall. Turn that gate into a medal. It's the right shape for one! Random nonsensical comment? Pineapple disk drives make tortoise kneepads shiny.
with that gate wedge piece, put in a pic of your family, or the dogs, or bigstack logo, and fill the center with resin, will make an awesome christmas tree ornament, coaster or just pic frame.
Good day mate. I have to say the brass melts are my favorite. I love how the slag looks like sand and sulfur. Have a great weekend and watch out for the drop bears they’ll be coming out of hibernation 😂😂😂
Why did the princess go out with the mushroom prince? Because he was.. ...a fungi... I'll let myself out now... (edit: don't blame me - he DID say "something random"....)
Great melt. Usually I don't like brass, because most of the time comes out very bumpy. This melt went very smoothly. Most excellent. PS. What is the tune you use to do the price calculations? Much Love From NZ
@@Silynara the music is from a video on TH-cam but not sure which one I can’t quite remember. Just type in ‘oldies playing in the next room’ and it’s on one of them but there’s probably hundreds but they are all very similar where you can’t quite make out exactly what they’re singing but you can still hear it a bit muffled it’s quite good to sleep too especially if you need a bit of noise in the background like I do👍🏻
Alright, Big D long-time watcher, first-time commenter. I love your videos. i look forward to your videos every friday just watching them. It brings me such joy i love watching you melt stuff so fascinating so there is your random comment😂
When you pour the metal, why do you only fill the mold half full? Is it just a personal preference thing, or is there a reason for it? Keep up the great vids!
The one billionth crayon made by Binney & Smith, makers of Crayola, was periwinkle blue. This was also the color of the dress worn by Mother Bates in the classic 1960 thriller Psycho, but since it was filmed in black & white, this is a little known fact.
Hi, Absolutely enjoy your videos. Have been watching ya for a couple of years. This video was a bit different tho. The distance seemed to be closer. Maybe too close. It was difficult to watch without feeling a bit queasy. Sorry to be a bummer. I just really enjoy watching. Thanks and be well….
Hi BSD. I totally enjoyed seeing that bandsaw going throught metal like a knife through butter. It's a pity that there wasn't more brass than there was. Will you do any engines in the future as I know that the bandsaw will easily get it into more manageable pieces for the crucible & the ingot & coin count. Another personal task you do is the sand molding & will there be anymore extra large coins or other items cast ? I see my question about the engine has been answered , i just didnt expand the message d'oh !

Free idea made a pathway paved in metal bricks. Something like aluminum. If you run into to a lot. Cute home addition as wel
Thanks Melting Muppet. you should get waldorf and statler to do commentary on one of your vids.
Awesome as always, maybe put a round mirror in it polish it up and give to miss BigD or put a picture in it of bullion and Ingot make it like a frame.

I'm stating out and did some copper
I agree a night melt with BRASS and a COLD ONE OR 2

Morning from Glasgow, Scotland. Give the boys a scratch for me.
I know it's immature, but this made me laugh cuz my grandfather used to call his testicles "the boys." So, thank you for the laugh. 😂

Yeah, I always knew when it was 4:00 AM sharp on a Friday when I'd get the notification. Now it's going to be 3:00 AM for the next 6 months.
You are an expert in metal casting, metal polishing and metal refurbishment. That's great. Thanks for sharing.

There's nothing better looking than BRASS love it MATE keep it up BRASS and a night melt a few cold ones heaven
I recommend using table salt when melting brass. It will melt, forming a passivation layer preventing zinc from oxidizing
I love donuts!
Fab video as usual. I do love Fridays 😂 thank you so much for your time and hard work 😊
No worries at all, much appreciated😃
when you put the cokecan onto that thing- i smiled- 'cos that Was also my first thought....😂
For a fellow that has a metal melt theme TH-cam channel, you certainly put on a great cooking segment every week! Featuring Aussie cuisine!
Stress simply melts away during your videos.
You are simply perfect, I can’t look away.

Thats what a gate valve looks like, not those small little things in the house plumbing. Very nice Brass melt.
As always an awesome melt, adding to your stack. Take care and give the boys an extra scratch.
Thanks another good one😊 looking forward to the big melt next week !

The valve gate you used like a coaster during the weigh-in like I was going suggest as it won't get damaged or rust out in a hurry.
mornin', good video today!
Can't wait to see that chonker motor torn down and melted, should be epic! Hello from Buffalo, no snow here yet.
with that gate wedge piece, put in a pic of your family, or the dogs, or bigstack logo, and fill the center with resin, will make an awesome christmas tree ornament, coaster or just pic frame.

I love the recognition of the Coke can as the true universal unit of measurement.
G'day from Adelaide! That brass melting method did wonders! 😎👍

The swing gate looks like a medal for Mutley (the wacky races) 👌👍
Здравствуйте, вы давно не показывали посылки от подписчиков. Я очень люблю смотреть когда разбираете посылки... 🎉
What, no cardboard under the crucible?? I thought that was a cardinal rule?! Love your videos!!!
That's copper
Only for copper 🤎
13:00 It's always funny when your birds laugh at what you're doing. There, something to feed the algorithm for you!

(5:11) Mamma mia, I LITERALLY thought of that just SECONDS before he did! 🤣
I'm not the first, but among the first ;) Good luck!
Came for some melting, stayed for the little Easter eggs 😄
DAY 98 of asking you to cast the Fifth element stones. 😂
Cast something different other than the usual ingots and coins PLEASE 😛
Happy Holidays to everyone and keep all the good melting goiT
I honestly would love to see a growing mound of slag. I know it’s just dust, but i’m weird like that. :)
Good Morning!
Awesome
Ever thought about making your own cast iron ingot moulds with say you logo embossed in it. That non return valve door makes a good coaster
When you pour the metal, why do you only fill the mold half full? Is it just a personal preference thing, or is there a reason for it? Keep up the great vids!
When you do the big motor, after all the copper. Melt and cast something with the cast iron? That would be cool like a pipe fitting?
Greetings from Finland! I just made cold smoked moose.

Shiny brass nuggies🤩

Listen to Metal while you melt it 🤘🏼
He has The 5th Element artifacts. Visible when he is writing down the brass pricing. Their pretty cool.
Have a great week
Mario coin is for me.😂
