AS AN LIFETIME MECHANIC AND AN GATHERER OF SCRAP METALS, THIS IS VERY INTERESTING TO WATCH!!
SO MUCH MACHINERY AND INFRASTRUCTURE IS REQUIRED TO MAKE JUST AN SIMPLE CONCRETE STEEL REINFORCING BAR!
THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST INDUSTRIAL INFORMATION VIDEOS I HAVE EVER SEEN!!😮😮😮😮
Wow, this video was absolutely phenomenal! Not only did you get a lot of really incredible footage but you explained the process in a very humorous way with the subtitles. Great achievement, I’m very proud of you! So proud in fact that I bought 20 bundles of rebar, extra thick to use as garden stakes! This factory was very impressive for its automation and efficiency. It genuinely seems as if they are trying to reduce their environmental impact where possible. I cannot imagine how much this factory costs to build lots of engineering and expertise for sure. Their workwear is not cheap and it would probably cost a lot to ship to Canada.
This was incredible! Thanks to the owners for letting you film
Your channel is the best Korean channel in all of youtube for the love and passion you put into your comments. Never stop, we dont stop watching, I wont stop laughing and enjoying your humor. Also you should have dressed up in the workwear for the 30second video!!! I'm sure President. 이경백 of the company would agree. Google showed the the site and the clothes looks like something Kanye West would design to sell to rich kids. As a hard working foreigner i purchased 3 bundles of SD400 for my bunker and some ArkrerD clothing.
I'm sharing this video to my Uncle who owns a construction company. He needs 40 tons of rebar for a small backyard project.
I work with rebar in Australia. From house foundations to 17 story buildings. I love my job and am glad to see how the steel I move around and put into place is created. I must have missed the part showing how the steel gets ribs. I might have to give it another watch 😅. From Australia great video 💪🏻
When the steel rebars are in the last pressing, and still hot enough to imprint, they go through rollers that put the ribs in.
@BlackPill-pu4vi aaaah makes sense. Thanks for the info 😁
This was soooo cool! I have ordered 20 sets of rebar for my deck build, some works are to look official and some vegetables to be healthy. Seriously amazing video and though I do actually buy rebar for real, I had never thought about how it was made. Thank you!

I never realized they had such good quality control in making consistent alloys for the rebar.

Trump 2024!
100% true. All moved overseas to capitalize on the arbitrage between the Korean producer and the American/Western buyer. On top of the raw difference, that arbitrage can be multiplied yet again in the credit markets to create all-important liquidity. And yet, this is only a small part of the vast ocean of credit-backed paper that is sloshing around and keeping the debt system going.
And finally, debt secured by existing assets and contracts is old hat. We've been running solely on MMT aka Modern Monetary Theory for over 25 years now. I've tried to explain in plain, yet sufficiently detailed, English but, it keeps getting cneosred.

Can you imagine being on the team of engineers that created the EAF and rolling mills for these places and watching them function for the first time? It must be really satisfying to see all of the work you did come to life like this.
Just ordered 16 bundles of rebar for my home made shark hook manufacturing. Also ordered my winter outfit so i can sit by the fire while i make tomato soup :)
And a merry christmas and god bless us everyone😊
Adorei todo o vídeo, as construtoras são as grandes consumidoras de vergalhões, mas o calor da fábrica ser utilizado para produção de alimentos é realmente muito especial, estão realmente de parabéns!
A few things stand out to me:
1. The rolling mill uses a square-diamond-square shape sequence during reduction. I've heard of it but never seen it - most mills seem to use the round-oval-round sequence.
2. The practice of roughing down a whole billet at a time and then passing two of them at once through the finishing mill. Again, more modern mills will reduce one billet in the roughing and intermediate mills, then form the bar into a peanut shape and slit the bar into two, or three or four bars.
3. The thing shown at 15:00 is called a looper, it's for tension management in the mill. Steel being rolled tends to behave like a big rubber band and the looper allows this tension to be managed. Our loopers have position sensors mounted above them that tell the mill computers how big the loop is and the speeds of the rolling stands are then adjusted automatically to keep the loop height realtively constant.
보는 것만으로도 재밌네

I used to go to a pipe mill in Youngstown, OH where they made seamless pipe. Used to service equipment there. I worked by myself and just wandered the mill. Saw the whole process from melting scrap in an electric arc furnace, to pouring the molten steel, to continuous casting of round billets, to the final process of making the seamless pipe from a solid round billet. I get a chuckle when movies show people standing above hot steel or molten steel. The stuff is over 2000 degrees and the heat is absolutely incredible. You wouldn't last 5 seconds.
