The Routine (10 Rounds in total):
    5 Rounds:
    10 x 8 Count Bodybuilders
    10 x Power Press (5 each arm)
    1 Minute Jump Rope
    5 Rounds:
    10 x 3 Pump Burpees
    10 x Power Press (5 each arm)
    1 Minute Jump Rope
Implementing rope skipping in my routines never disappoints, same here.
Brilliant bodyweight / dumbbell training session which targets the shoulders and upper body in general.

Simon, my man. I can not express enough how riveting your message was. The question 'what really matters' is a question that was brought to my attention recently, and was a question I was mulling over the past 2 months! As for dealing with past traumas and no longer living in the past, was also another conscious issue I was dealing with and (by God's grace alone) am putting it away behind me as I moved ahead. You are absolutely correct our past is not our identity and what matters is what we take responsibility for in the present! Your thoughts on being relaxed and having a balanced approach to life I feel was divine in terms of timing and content that was accurately delivered to many men out there going through the same thing. I was not expecting such a timely, accurate and concise message at all! I don't like to blow smoke up people's arses so I mean every word I say my friend. Thank you kindly! As for me lately, I've been incorporating a lot of walking, and as for calisthenics I can now comfortably do 8 count burpees and 1 pump burpees very well! Still losing weight and am looking better at 37 more toned and greater functional capacity. I am throwing bear crawls/leopard crawls into the mix as I get to go slow but still generate a massive bang in terms of lung power and strength + cardio. Truly an underrated exercise! As for my calisthenics journey, burpees are still a staple but will focus more on the strength side of things and start stepping towards pistols (one legged squats), legs together one arm pushups (the legs apart one arm pushups are much easier and are doable but legs together I can't even descend) and eventually progress to my first pull up. How you are going well my friend!

Shaun brother, always a big pleasure to hear from you. How is life treating you these days?
Thank you for the great comment
I like how you mentioned "by god's grace alone". As a matter of fact I think - not important if you are believer of a religion - by putting yourself in the trustworthy hands of a higher power, you gain a lot of strength. That combined with taking action here on earth truly brings you in a powerful spot.
      I think you understand me.
Pumped to hear, that your weight loss journey and training practice is moving forward so well, you are doing amazing man. As for the pistol squats, they are ruthless haha
Very hard but also good exercise. Good way to work up to this exercise is the shrimp squat in my opinion. Basically holding one leg back in a stretch towards your butt cheeks, while performing a squat with the other leg
Have a good day man, never hesitate to reach out if I can be of any help!

Great session and nice to see some jump rope! Always nice to realise we can simulate it without the need for a rope if you don't have one...better with a rope of course but a very nice second option.

That is a good point Duncan! The jumping and plyometric element of the jump rope can easily be done without it, but I like to implement it every now and then.
Hope you are doing awesome my friend!

Yeah I think it’s great routine Simon man. The jump rope is likely a much different kind of cardio, compared to the burpees. Do you find that yourself?

Hey David brother, how good to see you on the channel!
You are spot on. To be honest, next time I should increase the speed with the rope skips, to feel the cardio aspect more. Having quite a good gas tank myself, I feel it less heavy with regards to the cardio but more on the shoulders man
This in combination with the other two exercises here which also target the shoulders, gave me a good grind
