    Wonderful video. So many different options. I forwarded the video to my mother of 76. I thought this might help her but also be more educated about myself and where I am with my MS routine. Thank you so much. From the bottom of my heart thank you. 😊 I cannot afford OT& PT right now but at least I can be proactive with myself and my Secondary Progressive diagnosis.
    Thank you and Bless you abundantly.

    Thank you so much for this video! I loved all the definitions. As someone with MS I have often wondered if I have spasticity but now I know it is ‘just’ muscle tightness. It was also good to know the difference between active and passive stretching.

    Thank You for sharing this video. I have terrible spasticity and I’m on baclofen and I honestly don’t even think that it helps. I am looking forward to trying these stretches and exercises because somethings Gotta give. I’ve been waiting patiently for something finally like this. I’ve had ms since 1997-98. My headaches were terrible that was the only thing I really ever noticed then in 2017 the spasticity the foot drop all started and got continuously worse than 2021 that stupid Covid none of the exercises that I’ve ever used or been told to use are as basic as what I’m seeing in your video trust me I am looking forward to something positive much thanks 👍

    I have RRMS and I am doing some PT and the guidance your sharing I verified with my CNCS Dr of PT. I need to figure out the right daily routine and where my own limits are so I don't overwhelmed or overdue. Zapping me for the rest of the day or needing a day to recover. I personally need to figure it out.

    Wow! I did all the stretches as you were doing them and I already feel great!
    I get leg spasms almost every night and it's so hard to get good sleep because of it. Would you recommend doing leg stretches before I go to bed too or some other time during the day?

    • @DoctorGretchenHawley
      @DoctorGretchenHawley  ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm so glad you found this helpful! It wouldn't hurt to try them out before bedtime to see if it helps with your spasms. I have found that it varies from client to client, so give it a try☺️

    Do you have a video on passive stretching? My caregiver wants to make sure she is doing it the right way. Thank you for this very informative video.

      I have some videos on in "knee kissing" as well! It sounds like those would be appropriate for what you are describing. To find those quickly, you can use the magnifying glass "search" option & type in "knee kissing"☺️

    My dorsi flexor. Can Botox help.? Side effects?

    • @DoctorGretchenHawley
      @DoctorGretchenHawley  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That is a challenging question to answer specifically without an in-person evaluation. I would definitely recommend discussing the botox option with your in-person care team if that is something you are interested in trying☺️
