I have removed the cards from my life and now own a positive new set of cards and all has been doing fine. Be cautious people and try not to buy second hand Wicca products as we don’t know the intentions the previous owner of the object used. Stay safe people and may you all be protected
it may be because you bought them from a secondhand shop. it is usually recommended that you be the first person to own the tarot cards as previous owners negative energy can linger in the cards
@@elizabethburke169 my friend gave me a deck and i saged the hell out of it,put it in salt with rose quartz and left them out side every night for almost a full moon cycle. There was something attached to them that was dark and just so much yuck. In the end after many nightmares for me and my husband i banished and burned them. Even took the ashes and buried them out in the desert. She got those from a friend who bought them new.

I’m in the same boat now. For the first time in many years I am feeling receptive to any type of religiosity. I feel at peace on this channel and with Harmony. I hope that continues.
Just to clarify, because I've noticed that many people in the comments are unaware of that: You don't have to be a Wiccan to read the Tarot. In fact, you don't even have to be a witch. It is related to mysticism, esotericism and the occult more than anything. The Tarot is an occult tool. It existed long before Wicca and it has been studied by occultists for centuries. It is a great book of wisdom that is influenced by Kabbalah, Alchemy, Astrology, Numerology, Neoplatonic philosophy and the Hermetic tradition. It has nothing to do with Wicca or Paganism in general. As long as you are interested in esoteric and occult studies, the Tarot will definitely be a useful tool for you and it will teach you a lot. It has a lot to tell about the mysteries of the human psyche and the subconscious and will be valued by anyone who seeks a deeper insight into their lives and their experience on this earth, Wiccan or otherwise. But there is no actual connection to Wicca. Sure, you can integrate it into your Wiccan practices, since it is a tool for divination and fortune telling and it can be used alongside other practices such as scrying or pendulum workings, tea leaf readings, palmistry, etc. But the Tarot is not inherently or explicitly related to Wicca by any means.
I understand that the Wiccan altar is very personal to the individual but I think a lot of people, including myself, would be really interested in a video about yours - provided you are comfortable sharing that with us, of course!
I'm a Christian and believe very strongly that Jesus is my Lord and Savior. I have a deck of tarot cards and use them to force myself to look at my present situation with a different perspective because I have a tendency to lock onto the first conclusion I come to. Whenever I shuffle I ask my guardian angels to guide the cards.

10:20 I only learned this later in life: that the tarot isn’t dangerous. I think it’s because I was taught that these cards were used to communicate with spirits, kinda like a Ouija board. I don’t know where that idea came from. But I’ve found these cards to be great for self-reflection and meditation.
Just an experience I wanted to share. I have always been interested in Tarot since my Grandma had her own set of cards and one day I asked her to do me just a normal reading. Her being Roman Catholic absolutely freaked out once The Devil appeared for little seven years old me. I didn't know at the time why though. So I began doing research on meanings of the cards (and also my obsession with palm reading) at the age of 10 things that were seemingly common sense to me was miracle guesswork to others. Although I never owned my own set of cards until recently. My mom as always been in arts and crafts and she bought this 3D "painting" where you put tiny little rocks in a picture. This picture was of a beautiful lady standing in the snow with two wolves. (Other imagery that I always liked for some reason). One week after she finishes the painting I go with her into her favourite incense shop which also has crystals, meditation CDs and Tarot Cards. There was a variety of sets and knowing that this was my chance to finally get one I decided to do so. I picked up the closed boxes that I connected to the most but I was undecided between two. In the end, I picked the set I have called "Legends" by Anne Stokes. Even though it's my first set I feel like it's the set for me. As when I arrived home and spread out all my cards to see their beauty imagine my surprise when the Queen of Cups was the same exact picture my mom painted. I had no clue that the original illustration was by this Artist neither did I knew it was part of a Tarot Card Set. It really felt like I made the best decision. Only recently have decided to go into Wicca and Witchcraft investigation since I have always been fascinated by both. So I know that these videos are old but thank you for them from the bottom of my heart. It helps me a lot to have them. ~Love from Portugal
Have you memorized the meaning of each tarot card, or do you read the meaning from the pamphlet/ book that comes with most cards? Could you make separate videos that go more into depth on the different spreads?
I think I disagree about the "you can't use more than one tarot deck" thing. I've been reading tarot for about 7 years now (I started at about 16) and I can honestly say, even though I own multiple decks, my readings are still good and valid. Just as you can have different friends, and having more than one doesn't invalidate your friendship with another, so too can you have multiple decks. You may know some better, or be better or older "friends" with some, however you can still *have* and *use* more than one. I find I have some that I use for readings with friends; some I won't let other people touch because I feel they are attuned to me; other decks are special and I use only occasionally when I feel drawn to them. I even have a mini tarot deck I carry around with me (I find shuffling it soothing). idk I have a thing for tarot and oracle decks, and I really enjoy making my own too, so ymmv on this haha

Please do more research. There are many who believe that doing things like playing with Tarot, is actually communicating with demons. I'd be one of those people who believes that. My mother read Tarot cards all my life, and the outcome was dangerous... it's not a game, and it's not for fun, and honestly, no one should be doing this.
I respect your opinion however, it is up to everyone what they choose to do- I hope you haven't scared the OP too much! I love the idea of tarot cards, however I always try to find reason in everything and unfortunately I find it hard to think of them as anything more than pieces of paper. I also used to be scared of demons, you need to remember that in the slight chance that they are real- you are a strong human and they can do you no harm:)

It's also not a good idea to run on the train tracks in front of on oncoming train. If I told someone to get off the tracks when a train is coming, would you feel the need to let me know that it's up to everyone what they choose to do? Demons can and do harm humans... and the human arrogance that believes they can't, is exactly what allows them to harm us in the first place. The spiritual realm is no playground.
I personally think you should. I've had other people read my tarot cards, I've read my own, and I never have had any bad or negative experience with them. I think there is a balance with everything, so don't overdo it and ask any possible question, but when you do need insight, if it's done correctly, you should become a bit more enlightened. They have always accurately represented me and my life, so I love them. I just got my very own and I'm just ecstatic. If you do get some, I would suggest getting one that you are drawn to instead of just one that looks pretty. I think that they are the universe and spirits around us telling us what might possibly happen in the future. I, in no way, think it's associated with demons.
I was going through a really hard time, I was way past breaking point and felt like I was going crazy. I needed help and guidance and bought tarot and oracle decks in desperation and honestly since I've started using them I've felt a WHOLE lot more at peace with myself. My grandfather had bought me my first deck a while ago but it disappeared unfortunately. I think someone came in my room and tossed them, but anyway I love these new ones and respect them. They calmed the storm going on in my head. I stopped having nightmares every night after receiving their guidance (coupled with calm classical music to sleep). So I will continue learning as much as I can about tarot, thanks for the video!

Probably, because at my local witchcrafty shop there are loads of sets and they are all different, so there are the regular ones, ones with Wiccan symbols, ones with unicorns and fairies all over them, etc. As long as they are Tarot cards you can use them! I'm gonna go to that shop and buy some tomorrow, thats why I'm on this video lol

I generally prefer to use one tarot set for my own readings, & another for when I'm giving friends/ family council. I don't used the cards commercially, but it just feels weird that I may have to share something I have a personal connection with for others.
The way I like to explain tarot cards is that they base their answers off the path you are following at that moment, thus why people get multiple readings. If your path changes, the same question doesn't always receive the same answer. :) just my own personal view, love these videos!!
I started with tarot cards after I started playing the game "The Arcana" and I was facsinated with them. This game is also what mostly got me into witchcraft. There are 2 cards I feel very drawn to and deem them as "my cards", and those are Ace of Cups (upright and reversed) and The Moon.
Jalisa Zimmerman the Rider Waite tarot deck is the beginner deck, though the first deck I got was the shadowscapes tarot deck. Shadowscapes deck is very beautiful and detailed, I love mine ❤️
char miller I actually checked out the app and downloaded it... obviously I will be doing more research and learning than just that but it does really help. It's a fun and easy way to familiarize oneself with tarot cards and their meanings and practice readings and such. Definitely recommend 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
In my opinion I think it's a good idea to sage your tarot cards before you use them or put a protection charm near you or on you so no bad things can manipulate your reading or do anything evil. I'm not expert that's just what someone in my family said they said to me when I got my first tarot card deck to always sage them before using and to thank them for there time when your done using them
For several decades I have used the tarot to do next-day forecasts for myself and to conduct next-week forecasts. In every one of those hundreds and thousands of forecasts, the cards hit the bull's-eye every time. They never fail to tell you exactly what is coming up in the future. As long as you shuffle the cards thoroughly, they will tell you whatever you want to know about your past, present, or future. And with flawless exactitude. They will give you far more than "general guidance" about the future. They will give you pinpoint accuracy 100 percent of the time. Thorough shuffling is the key. When conducting a several-card reading, I never fail to riffle shuffle and double-cut my deck a full fifteen times. In this way, I achieve 100 percent accuracy 100 percent of the time in divinations about the past, present, or future.

Funny story: both my mother and I are spiritual, but I began practicing my spirituality actively before her, and It has always been easy for me, or at least not too hard. I’ve never been interested in tarot, but my mother ordered a deck. I opened it with her, and I tried it out with her. I felt really drawn to it for some reason. A few days later, she knocked at my door and told me “ it's yours.” She admitted she couldn’t connect to it, and it had chosen my energy. So, I have a deck now
PLEASE GO ON! It's so amazing and really sooths my ancienties about the spiritual realm. Most of the time I don't actually practice because of my family enviroment, but I really feel in peace with wiccan teaching and witchcraft
My dad bought me my first set, from Barnes and noble, and I have connected with it, I do have small hands so shuffling is hard, the first kind of readings I was doing was with playing cards, and I really connected with them, and the treating it like a person made total sense I really like your thumbnails, they are so aesthetically appealing, and pretty, I also really like this series ❤️
This is very inspiring. I got my tarot as a gift. When my friend (who is into tarot) saw I was interested, he gifted me his book of tarot to help me better understand it. But when I asked my parents to buy me tarot they bought me a nice deck, but I couldn't connect with them. Then a year later my other friend gifted me tarot for fun, and it was the tarot from the book that meant so much to me, so in the end the tarot found me. :)

I have my own set of tarot cards that I have been painting for a bit with different animals that on each card (seven of Swords is a bunny dropping knives, death is a snake and a skull, etc etc) and I can't wait to for them to dry and for me to be able to do my first reading with them!
I'm a devout Roman Catholic who also uses tarot cards and it was great to hear that even though we come from (seemingly) quite different religious beliefs, we share this view of tarot cards that it's not about the future, but seeing our lives as they are, as we already know them to be and to move through our lives more aware. Ok so let me explain this-I saw witchcraft and got interested but the religions Wiccan and pagan confused me so much and I couldn’t understand any of it, I came upon you and this series and IT MAKES SO MUCH SENSE now- what I mean to say is... THANK YOU💛
A couple of years back I was in a shop with my family and I came upon this Wicca book and I don’t know what it was at the time but it looks interesting so I got it and took it home I love it it was so interesting to me but my life and school got in the way of me learning more about Wicca, I’m 16 now and I’ve found that book again after I thought I’d lost it and Wicca videos keep popping up on TH-cam and tiktok for me I think it a sign that I should start again and stick to it .
I have two decks, and they each have different purposes and personalities. One is a traditional sort of deck, based on the original Rider-Waite tarot. It’s Aquarian tarot, and I picked it because of how its energy felt. Aquarian has a male energy for me, so I use male pronouns when speaking about this deck. He’s very blunt and to-the-point, and extremely good for warnings. When I need to have my ass kicked, I pull him out and do a spread because whatever it is that I’m ignoring or just not paying enough attention to, he’ll make every single card I draw about that subject. He’ll hit you hard, and he won’t stop hitting you. I’ve done big Celtic crosses and golden dawn spreads with him and gotten 10 and 15 cards whose sole purpose is to kick my ass into the right direction. On the other hand, my other deck, is a Crowley deck so it’s a little different. It’s Thoth tarot by Alistair Crowley, and this deck also has a male energy? He’s much more gentle and subtle, though. He’s very good at pulling things from within myself that i’m doubting and that I need reassurance for and making sure I’m aware of them. He’ll also warn me and tell me when I’m doing something wrong and need to change, but readings with him are much more balanced than with Aquarian. Thoth tells me what I’m doing well as well as what I’m not so that I get the whole picture. Thoth tells me what to keep doing, Aquarian tells me what to stop doing.
I love this series. I'm very new to wicca and the information you provide has helped me in more ways than I could possibly put into words. Thank you for making this series.
On having multiple tarot decks - I connect with both of my decks in different ways and use them for different types of readings. The first deck I ever got was simple and straightforward, it basically tells me to cut the bullshit lol. My second deck is much deeper and great for meditation or complex readings - currently, it's the one i use more often. (it's the Hermetic Tarot deck!) I believe it's perfectly alright to have connection with more than one deck, because not all decks are universally suited for all types of readings. That being said, decks like Rider-Waite and Universal Golden Tarot - even the rather popular Wild Unknown - are generally good for most types of readings. looooove your witchcraft/wicca series! :)
i would like if you would go more in depth about how to read tarot readings. ive struggled with this since ive had my deck because different sources have different takes on the card's meanings.
If you have problems to find a meaning on a card, maybe it's best to think what your meaning is. Like, if you see a card, that you can "sense" what it means.

My first and only deck is the Healing Light deck and I love it so much. The differences between the shadows, light, and location of the mandaloras all help to add depth to the initial reading.

i was in emergency for an overnight stay a few months ago at the hospital and i had my tarot cards in my mini back pack and when i got home the next day i pulled them out and inside with my deck a nurse had written on a sticky note that tarot cards are the devils tool and will wreak havic on my life and to get myself blessed by a priest immediately. i couldnt believe that a nurse had stuck that in there.

Update: it helped me come out. I knew exactly what to do with the new insight. I've always been really skeptical, but her 10 card strategy proved weirdly specific to the situation.....I couldn't have arranged it to tell the story better myself.

Tarot is so cool because I can ask a question and if a card flies out and I’m not sure about the card, Everytime I shuffle the same card will always pop out no matter what.
This was so helpful! I just ordered my first deck and it's witch themed, which may be a little odd, but I really liked the look of it and I guess we'll see how it goes.
I use the tarot of the old path. I was out shopping many years ago and as usual was drawn into the crystal shop. I looked at their tarot cards, as the Crystle shops here in Australia also sell candles, tarot cards, book and other magical bits. After looking at the tarot cards for a small while, I went to walk away and all of a sudden, this pack of tarot cards called The Tarot of the Old Path jumped out of the shelf and fell next to me. I knew they were the ones for me as they weren't even close to the edge, they were pushed right back into the shelf, and flew out of their deep shelf hole of approximately 28cm in depth and landed right next to me. Unheard of behaviour for an inanimate object I brought them believing they were the ones and they always proved to be spot on since. Although that deck got stolen and I replaced them with another Tarot of the Old Path. A fine deck to be sure Harmony. xo
Really love your videos and this series, I love to study about different religion. You are not crazy tarot cards have their own characters (might be due to their art work) and treating them as a person and wanting to know them is what I did as well. I have been using tarot cards for 12 years now, and started to use 2 deck in one reading, one for what is show in the surface and what is in the deeper level such as thoughts or what is not really shown to the person.
I know its good research and get information from different people but sometimes I forget there's other youtubers that talk about witchcraft😅 most of the things I've felt were right for me specifically and my beliefs are either most of the time the same as yours or similar and I think it's really cool that someone more experienced than me sees things like I do, your literally my mentor and I'm happy I found your channel because somethings I dont know about you explain it where I understand wayyy better than with other people.
I don't tend to use tarot cards very often, I don't even have my own set (I would love to get one someday, but I can get a little weird about what draws me to it), but when I do on occasion use tarot cards I don't have any specific goal or question in mind. I try to see what I end up with, and keep that in mind in daily activities. Kind of like a reminder to focus on certain things, or keep an eye out for others.
Bought myself a new deck, I can’t find my other one right now, and I found the Tattoo Tarot deck, and it’s gorgeous :) traditional tattoo style, and lovely faces. You’d probably like this deck Harmony!
Just to add another personal point of view on how others do tarot, I shuffle my cards 6 times (my lucky number) or if you're into numerology you could shuffle how many times your personal number is (mine being 5) to ask my question I meditate on it with my fingers on the borders of my cards. Then I verbalize my question (sometimes whisper it if I someone in the other room could hear me) and then I brush my fingers on the sides of the deck and cut it in half where it feels right then put the rest of the cards under the deck. When I'm doing a reading for someone who isn't present in the room I always choose a significator card. If the person is present I don't feel like I need to. Then I place my cards face down so I can process the cards one at a time. I always take a picture of my readings to document them and if I'm doing a reading for someone else I let them take a picture of it so they can look back on it. When my cardboard deck case starts to fall apart I sew together and make my own drawstring bag with black velvet and embroidered with moons and stars, pentacle, etc.

As long as you are interested in esoteric and occult studies, the Tarot will definitely be a useful tool for you and it will teach you a lot. It has a lot to tell about the mysteries of the human psyche and the subconscious and will be valued by anyone who seeks a deeper insight into their lives and their experience on this earth, Wiccan or otherwise. But there is no actual connection to Wicca. Sure, you can integrate it into your Wiccan practices, since it is a tool for divination and fortune telling and it can be used alongside other practices such as scrying or pendulum workings, tea leaf readings, palmistry, etc. But the Tarot is not inherently or explicitly related to Wicca by any means.

I'm a Christian and believe very strongly that Jesus is my Lord and Savior. I have a deck of tarot cards and use them to force myself to look at my present situation with a different perspective because I have a tendency to lock onto the first conclusion I come to. Whenever I shuffle I ask my guardian angels to guide the cards.

10:20 I only learned this later in life: that the tarot isn’t dangerous. I think it’s because I was taught that these cards were used to communicate with spirits, kinda like a Ouija board. I don’t know where that idea came from. But I’ve found these cards to be great for self-reflection and meditation.

Just an experience I wanted to share. I have always been interested in Tarot since my Grandma had her own set of cards and one day I asked her to do me just a normal reading. Her being Roman Catholic absolutely freaked out once The Devil appeared for little seven years old me. I didn't know at the time why though. So I began doing research on meanings of the cards (and also my obsession with palm reading) at the age of 10 things that were seemingly common sense to me was miracle guesswork to others. Although I never owned my own set of cards until recently. My mom as always been in arts and crafts and she bought this 3D "painting" where you put tiny little rocks in a picture. This picture was of a beautiful lady standing in the snow with two wolves. (Other imagery that I always liked for some reason). One week after she finishes the painting I go with her into her favourite incense shop which also has crystals, meditation CDs and Tarot Cards. There was a variety of sets and knowing that this was my chance to finally get one I decided to do so. I picked up the closed boxes that I connected to the most but I was undecided between two. In the end, I picked the set I have called "Legends" by Anne Stokes.
Even though it's my first set I feel like it's the set for me. As when I arrived home and spread out all my cards to see their beauty imagine my surprise when the Queen of Cups was the same exact picture my mom painted. I had no clue that the original illustration was by this Artist neither did I knew it was part of a Tarot Card Set. It really felt like I made the best decision.
Only recently have decided to go into Wicca and Witchcraft investigation since I have always been fascinated by both. So I know that these videos are old but thank you for them from the bottom of my heart. It helps me a lot to have them.

I think I disagree about the "you can't use more than one tarot deck" thing. I've been reading tarot for about 7 years now (I started at about 16) and I can honestly say, even though I own multiple decks, my readings are still good and valid. Just as you can have different friends, and having more than one doesn't invalidate your friendship with another, so too can you have multiple decks. You may know some better, or be better or older "friends" with some, however you can still *have* and *use* more than one. I find I have some that I use for readings with friends; some I won't let other people touch because I feel they are attuned to me; other decks are special and I use only occasionally when I feel drawn to them. I even have a mini tarot deck I carry around with me (I find shuffling it soothing). idk I have a thing for tarot and oracle decks, and I really enjoy making my own too, so ymmv on this haha

Please do more research. There are many who believe that doing things like playing with Tarot, is actually communicating with demons. I'd be one of those people who believes that. My mother read Tarot cards all my life, and the outcome was dangerous... it's not a game, and it's not for fun, and honestly, no one should be doing this.
I respect your opinion however, it is up to everyone what they choose to do- I hope you haven't scared the OP too much! I love the idea of tarot cards, however I always try to find reason in everything and unfortunately I find it hard to think of them as anything more than pieces of paper. I also used to be scared of demons, you need to remember that in the slight chance that they are real- you are a strong human and they can do you no harm:)

Demons can and do harm humans... and the human arrogance that believes they can't, is exactly what allows them to harm us in the first place. The spiritual realm is no playground.
I personally think you should. I've had other people read my tarot cards, I've read my own, and I never have had any bad or negative experience with them. I think there is a balance with everything, so don't overdo it and ask any possible question, but when you do need insight, if it's done correctly, you should become a bit more enlightened. They have always accurately represented me and my life, so I love them. I just got my very own and I'm just ecstatic. If you do get some, I would suggest getting one that you are drawn to instead of just one that looks pretty. I think that they are the universe and spirits around us telling us what might possibly happen in the future. I, in no way, think it's associated with demons.
I was going through a really hard time, I was way past breaking point and felt like I was going crazy. I needed help and guidance and bought tarot and oracle decks in desperation and honestly since I've started using them I've felt a WHOLE lot more at peace with myself. My grandfather had bought me my first deck a while ago but it disappeared unfortunately. I think someone came in my room and tossed them, but anyway I love these new ones and respect them. They calmed the storm going on in my head. I stopped having nightmares every night after receiving their guidance (coupled with calm classical music to sleep). So I will continue learning as much as I can about tarot, thanks for the video!

Probably, because at my local witchcrafty shop there are loads of sets and they are all different, so there are the regular ones, ones with Wiccan symbols, ones with unicorns and fairies all over them, etc. As long as they are Tarot cards you can use them! I generally prefer to use one tarot set for my own readings, & another for when I'm giving friends/ family council. I don't used the cards commercially, but it just feels weird that I may have to share something I have a personal connection with for others.
The way I like to explain tarot cards is that they base their answers off the path you are following at that moment, thus why people get multiple readings. If your path changes, the same question doesn't always receive the same answer. :) just my own personal view,

I started with tarot cards after I started playing the game "The Arcana" and I was facsinated with them. This game is also what mostly got me into witchcraft. There are 2 cards I feel very drawn to and deem them as "my cards", and those are Ace of Cups (upright and reversed) and The Moon.

My cards get mad at me if I read them over and over again on the same subject, they tend to get snippy.
In my opinion I think it's a good idea to sage your tarot cards before you use them or put a protection charm near you or on you so no bad things can manipulate your reading or do anything evil. I'm not expert that's just what someone in my family said they said to me when I got my first tarot card deck to always sage them before using and to thank them for there time when your done using them
For several decades I have used the tarot to do next-day forecasts for myself and to conduct next-week forecasts. In every one of those hundreds and thousands of forecasts, the cards hit the bull's-eye every time. They never fail to tell you exactly what is coming up in the future. As long as you shuffle the cards thoroughly, they will tell you whatever you want to know about your past, present, or future. And with flawless exactitude. They will give you far more than "general guidance" about the future. They will give you pinpoint accuracy 100 percent of the time. Thorough shuffling is the key. When conducting a several-card reading, I never fail to riffle shuffle and double-cut my deck a full fifteen times. In this way, I achieve 100 percent accuracy 100 percent of the time in divinations about the past, present, or future.

Funny story: both my mother and I are spiritual, but I began practicing my spirituality actively before her, and It has always been easy for me, or at least not too hard. I’ve never been interested in tarot, but my mother ordered a deck. I opened it with her, and I tried it out with her. I felt really drawn to it for some reason. A few days later, she knocked at my door and told me “ it's yours.” She admitted she couldn’t connect to it, and it had chosen my energy. So, I have a deck now

This is very inspiring. I got my tarot as a gift. When my friend (who is into tarot) saw I was interested, he gifted me his book of tarot to help me better understand it. But when I asked my parents to buy me tarot they bought me a nice deck, but I couldn't connect with them. Then a year later my other friend gifted me tarot for fun, and it was the tarot from the book that meant so much to me, so in the end the tarot found me. :)

I'm a devout Roman Catholic who also uses tarot cards and it was great to hear that even though we come from (seemingly) quite different religious beliefs, we share this view of tarot cards that it's not about the future, but seeing our lives as they are, as we already know them to be and to move through our lives more aware. A couple of years back I was in a shop with my family and I came upon this Wicca book and I don’t know what it was at the time but it looks interesting so I got it and took it home I love it it was so interesting to me but my life and school got in the way of me learning more about Wicca, I’m 16 now and I’ve found that book again after I thought I’d lost it and Wicca videos keep popping up on TH-cam and tiktok for me I think it a sign that I should start again and stick to it .
I have two decks, and they each have different purposes and personalities. One is a traditional sort of deck, based on the original Rider-Waite tarot. It’s Aquarian tarot, and I picked it because of how its energy felt. Aquarian has a male energy for me, so I use male pronouns when speaking about this deck. He’s very blunt and to-the-point, and extremely good for warnings. When I need to have my ass kicked, I pull him out and do a spread because whatever it is that I’m ignoring or just not paying enough attention to, he’ll make every single card I draw about that subject. He’ll hit you hard, and he won’t stop hitting you. I’ve done big Celtic crosses and golden dawn spreads with him and gotten 10 and 15 cards whose sole purpose is to kick my ass into the right direction.
On the other hand, my other deck, is a Crowley deck so it’s a little different. It’s Thoth tarot by Alistair Crowley, and this deck also has a male energy? He’s much more gentle and subtle, though. He’s very good at pulling things from within myself that i’m doubting and that I need reassurance for and making sure I’m aware of them. He’ll also warn me and tell me when I’m doing something wrong and need to change, but readings with him are much more balanced than with Aquarian. Thoth tells me what I’m doing well as well as what I’m not so that I get the whole picture. Thoth tells me what to keep doing, Aquarian tells me what to stop doing.
I've been getting the king of pentacles everyday for over a week and I'm not sure why. Lol.

On having multiple tarot decks - I connect with both of my decks in different ways and use them for different types of readings. The first deck I ever got was simple and straightforward, it basically tells me to cut the bullshit lol. My second deck is much deeper and great for meditation or complex readings - currently, it's the one i use more often. (it's the Hermetic Tarot deck!) I believe it's perfectly alright to have connection with more than one deck, because not all decks are universally suited for all types of readings. That being said, decks like Rider-Waite and Universal Golden Tarot - even the rather popular Wild Unknown - are generally good for most types of readings. looooove your witchcraft/wicca series! :)
i would like if you would go more in depth about how to read tarot readings. ive struggled with this since ive had my deck because different sources have different takes on the card's meanings.
If you have problems to find a meaning on a card, maybe it's best to think what your meaning is. Like, if you see a card, that you can "sense" what it means.
everytime you say something like "don't think i'm crazy, but..." (insert here things i always believed)

My first and only deck is the Healing Light deck and I love it so much. The differences between the shadows, light, and location of the mandaloras all help to add depth to the initial reading.

i was in emergency for an overnight stay a few months ago at the hospital and i had my tarot cards in my mini back pack and when i got home the next day i pulled them out and inside with my deck a nurse had written on a sticky note that tarot cards are the devils tool and will wreak havic on my life and to get myself blessed by a priest immediately. i couldnt believe that a nurse had stuck that in there.

Update: it helped me come out. I knew exactly what to do with the new insight. I've always been really skeptical, but her 10 card strategy proved weirdly specific to the situation.....I couldn't have arranged it to tell the story better myself.

Tarot is so cool because I can ask a question and if a card flies out and I’m not sure about the card, Everytime I shuffle the same card will always pop out no matter what.
It makes sense how the lovers card shows up for you a lot seeing as you have a Taurus sun/libra moon which are both ruled by venus

I use the tarot of the old path. I was out shopping many years ago and as usual was drawn into the crystal shop. I looked at their tarot cards, as the Crystle shops here in Australia also sell candles, tarot cards, book and other magical bits. After looking at the tarot cards for a small while, I went to walk away and all of a sudden, this pack of tarot cards called The Tarot of the Old Path jumped out of the shelf and fell next to me. I knew they were the ones for me as they weren't even close to the edge, they were pushed right back into the shelf, and flew out of their deep shelf hole of approximately 28cm in depth and landed right next to me. Unheard of behaviour for an inanimate object I brought them believing they were the ones and they always proved to be spot on since. Although that deck got stolen and I replaced them with another Tarot of the Old Path. A fine deck to be sure Harmony. xo

Really love your videos and this series, I love to study about different religion. You are not crazy tarot cards have their own characters (might be due to their art work) and treating them as a person and wanting to know them is what I did as well. I have been using tarot cards for 12 years now, and started to use 2 deck in one reading, one for what is show in the surface and what is in the deeper level such as thoughts or what is not really shown to the person.
I know its good research and get information from different people but sometimes I forget there's other youtubers that talk about witchcraft😅 most of the things I've felt were right for me specifically and my beliefs are either most of the time the same as yours or similar and I think it's really cool that someone more experienced than me sees things like I do, your literally my mentor and I'm happy I found your channel because somethings I dont know about you explain it where I understand wayyy better than with other people.
I don't tend to use tarot cards very often, I don't even have my own set (I would love to get one someday, but I can get a little weird about what draws me to it), but when I do on occasion use tarot cards I don't have any specific goal or question in mind. I try to see what I end up with, and keep that in mind in daily activities. Kind of like a reminder to focus on certain things, or keep an eye out for others.
Bought myself a new deck, I can’t find my other one right now, and I found the Tattoo Tarot deck, and it’s gorgeous :) traditional tattoo style, and lovely faces.

how do you know if you should read the challenge card as reversed or right side up??
Just to add another personal point of view on how others do tarot, I shuffle my cards 6 times (my lucky number) or if you're into numerology you could shuffle how many times your personal number is (mine being 5) to ask my question I meditate on it with my fingers on the borders of my cards. Then I verbalize my question (sometimes whisper it if I someone in the other room could hear me) and then I brush my fingers on the sides of the deck and cut it in half where it feels right then put the rest of the cards under the deck. When I'm doing a reading for someone who isn't present in the room I always choose a significator card. If the person is present I don't feel like I need to. Then I place my cards face down so I can process the cards one at a time. I always take a picture of my readings to document them and if I'm doing a reading for someone else I let them take a picture of it so they can look back on it. When my cardboard deck case starts to fall apart I sew together and make my own drawstring bag with black velvet and embroidered with moons and stars, pentacle, etc.
