I’m a very sciency person and I feel that Wicca and a lot of the practices and beliefs make more sense to me than any other religion that I’ve learned about

Buddhism is more of a way of life, it’s a nontheistic religion which means there’s no god specific to the religion and it’s a very open religion to have. There’s 5 precepts, or commandments if you would. Don’t lie, don’t steal, don’t kill, don’t be sexually immoral (it doesn’t mean don’t have sex before marriage or with multiple people, but not to cheat if you’re in a monogamous relationship, not to rape anyone, and no pedophilia), and to stay away from mind altering substances so that you can’t mistake enlightenment with a bad trip.

Magick is completely real. When you say something you put an energy out there and the more thought you put in it and the more you voice it makes the energy stronger and become real.
@nova_ray Yeah, it's crazy how the cosmos open up to you when you finally come to love yourself, and when you love yourself you learn how to love the universe and all its entities. It's the most beautiful thing, and the only real thing that matters to us as spirits.
Cheers for this, I've been looking for "spell casting supplies" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Qenacob Spell Freakynerum - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my work buddy got excellent results with it.
@nova_ray This is very true it's all up to you you've got to be in this mind frame for anything to work for you. I have realized this also has the same exact effect with people. If I'm in a bad mood or anxious or nervous my daughter gets the same way. Everybody actually has certain gifts they carry they just may not notice it until later or at all. I found I am an empath and I sure I have passed it onto my daughter bc I can feel others feelings so strongly that there is actually certain people I can not be around bc of their negative aura. If someone around me is shitty or bothered by something I start to feel that too as for my daughter she is one years old and seems to pick up on mine and others energy as well but on a whole different level bc of her being a toddler she tends to be a little more dramatic about the aura that people put of depending on the type of aura of the person

Harmony Nice I'd like to see something about how to practice witchcraft with very few materials and time. I think a lot of newer pagans/Wiccans don't have access to all tools commonly used and don't know how to incorporate witchcraft into their lives x)
Do you know anything about funeral spells? Or spells to help a soul to get peace ? Or anything in that way ? My dog just died and i miss her so much It actually hurts. I want to honor her in some way but I can't find anything online.

Last month i did a curse on a person, who made my ex-best friend's and my life a living hell for 3 years.
However, I'm absolutely new in witchcraft (I'm learning about it for half a year now) and I didn't care about all the warnings from other witches, and wiccans on sites, who told me that it can be dangerous casting a curse if you're a witchling.
SO i did my curse, everything was fine, but i felt like i had all my energies drained out of me.
The next day, my voice was gone, I had a small fever, and I started to get VERY sick from that morning. I didnt get better for 2 weeks from that time.
The curse did work, i was happy with the results, but it was an interesting experience, what made me think about curses.
Noémi Ring It is kind of reckless not to care about doing a curse, but you did break the Wiccan Threefold Law:
"Ever mind the rule of three, what ye out comes back at thee."
Basically, since you did the curse, the curse hits you back three times harder.
At least you’ve gotten better after 2 weeks.
Miyah F. A lot of witches don’t believe in the three fold law except for wiccans in my experience, mainly for the “do no harm” part of the religion.

I've dabbled in sorcery. In my experience with curses my mind usually is what ends up being the cost. But each situation varies.

Mine can't really do much (I'm am adult) however they seem to see it as mostly a phase, like they do every other thing in my life. They're mildly interested occasionally when i get new crystals though, so that's cool

i know im a year late but a familiar will find you, you cannot force an animal to be your familiar!

The Law of Attraction is basically positive thinking, which is necessary for successful spell work. If you doubt yourself, you will fail.

I did a candle spell that I think is my first "real" spell and it worked as I made almost 800$ since then. (It was a money spell)

Its funny how people use the word placebo like its a bad thing. Modern medicine uses placebos sometimes to great effect!
They think the word is synonymous with fake or that it means its not real. I often feel like certain traditions and rituals for spells only exist to help get the witch or wizard into the right mindset for magic, which could be BOTH real and placebo! The person will feel the effect either way!
And if you feel the effects how fake is it really?

I totally agree. I think the problem with palcebo is when it's used in medicines and sold to people at a very high price. But, as I said, I agree with you.
Apart from the medical definition. Placebo means "Something that is used to calm or please someone".
You’re an absolute star, and eloquently expressed. Magick can be draining, time consuming and incredibly personal. You don’t need to do this for anyone but yourself, but we’re grateful for your insight. Goodbye critics, we get to see more of her personality alongside religion. Win win

What you will need
*drink of choice (I like hot tea)
*best bathbomb
*candles
*bathtub
*Free time
*any other thing you want
Step 1 run water in a bathtub (hot or warm)
Step 2 light candles
Step 3 place candles everywhere
Step 4 put a drink in a glass and bring into bathroom
Step 5 get undressed and get in
Step 6 unwrap bathbomb and put the bathbomb in the water
Step 7 do anything else if you want
And enjoy

It's been a little less than a month since I started watching your videos on Wicca and researching about Wicca. I don't know why but I've been kind of drawn to the faith and you helped me a lot on this path, I think I am ready to start my Wicca path (even if I have little things to sort out before) and I just wanted to thank you. It can be overwhelming to find something you really are drawn to and learn about it but everytime I was kind of scared and confused about this wonderful path, I just came back to you and your videos and I just feel safe and welcome. I've never expected a spell to work as anything other than placebo effect. Magic or not, you're still channeling positive energy into something and training your mind to think more positively, and that in itself brings about positive results.
I know this is an older video, but I understand when you said you needed a break. I don't know if I want to be a wiccan, but I definitely see a lot of things that I would enjoy practicing and that my soul seem to crave about it. I am the type of all or nothing, 0 to a hundred type of girl, and this has brought me in a deep depression state. I like how wicca is centered around the seasons and the natural rhythm of life, and I think I haven't been respecting that in regards to how I lead my life. There are times for being thankful and contemplating, and pausing to focus on inner work while looking forward to the next season of growth. I think this is really something that would benefit me. The new series is going to be so helpful! I have been reading about Wicca and magic since you first piqued my interest but I have not felt ready to do any kind of rituals or spells. I don't know when I will be ready but I definitely will wait until I feel knowledgable enough

I've only (officially) been on my magickal journey for about a month and a half now so I'm still verrrrrrrry green in terms of... well, everything! But I love learning new things, I've been reading books, watching videos and taking notes and your videos are definitely a huge part of this journey so far! Not gonna lie, the whole 'casting a circle' thing is really kind of... scary to me in a sense? When you are in a NEUTRAL STATE ... not too emotional or in a revenge mood ... you have to be just in a relaxed mind. No matter how "suitable date" u think the day is ...at the end of the day if u are not in a relaxed state that day DO NOT CAST .
When I tried caps for the first time I continuously told my friend who was with me that there was magic everywhere and that I could see it and feel it, and even now I can still feel the presence of magic all around me. It's such a great (and very real) feeling :)

What you were talking about at around 7 minutes, with science supporting magic, I really relate. I take psychology and combined science (chemistry, biology and physics all in one) and I get asked so much "how are you a Wiccan when you're also so dedicated to science" n I'am just like hhhmmmmm. I would really like to hear some Witch cautionary tales- I think it would be a good learning experience / lesson for beginners like me and others.
My favorite restrictions are the three in Harry Potter, against killing someone, creating excruciating pain and as you say, effecting someone's free will.

- Oh, also. Are there things that Wiccans/Witches can do together without feeling separate or awkward about having a different path, or just in general? I suppose Rituals are a possible activity/celebration to get involved in. 🌙 But what about casual spells or divination, or even making potions? 🍂 Would the shared energy between two Wiccans/Witches feel stronger? 🍑Xx
Even if magick would be all in your head, if it helps you, its still a good thing. So i dont think it matters that much if it is actually real or not...

I had just got into wicca and the way you explain it made it very easy for me to help write my book of shadows and my other spellbooks! It’s starting to make more sense to me now, and as a baby wiccan I thank you!
Now, this may be a stupid question. In terms of spells, do you make your own spells? Is there a specific way to do it (fx. It needs to rhyme, this short or this long etc) or do you find spells in books and online?

Ashrry Meep try doing whatever you end up doing on the new moon. Since it’s the end of the phase, it stimulates new growth. Most people try not to work on the new moon, but I‘d say it is an appropriate phase for what you would be trying to do with your heart break spellwork.

I've been practicing wicca for maybe a year and a half now, and I have only turned to spellwork a handful of times. Instead I try to put my energies into meditation and 'acting with intent'. One of my faves is simply lighting a candle and thinking/saying to myself, I light this candle with the intent/purpose to blah blah.
