I guess I’m crazy, but I’ve always loved Coyotes. Funny creatures.
One of the funniest documentaries I saw was about a coyote trying to hunt. This poor coyote kept falling off cliffs, getting run over by truck and getting blown up by his own Acme dynamite... but he was never successful!

I have respect for coyotes . I have pets and yes i keep an eye. These animals are survivors and people are assholes

Eerie, hauntingly beautiful and funny because they are mimicking the sirens
My friend and I were out in the woods one night not knowing that coyotes lived in the area, we were walking when we suddenly heard similar yipping and howling. It was very dark and we couldn't see anything but we were struck by how loud they were. We looked at each other instantly and I've never run faster lol
My two dogs were out back and got into a howling contest with some coyotes. It was dark out so it was hard to determine how far away they were. I found it amusing.

I was at a camp and literally heard these noises surrounding my tent at pure dark of night. Scary as heck haha
This is Awsome in all sense of the word! I live in Rose hills (NELA) and these guy's are literally our neighbors. Love the sound of the coyotes howling at dusk and the roosters crowing at down! City slicker nature life All day!!

Fun fact: the reason coyotes howl is to take a headcount and check whether or not they need to start makin' more babies!

I think the way coyotes howl at night is just scary and amazing at the same time that reminds me we have fields right next to our back yard and sometimes coyotes would come out at night in the fields and start howling like crazy so if you ever hear a coyotes howling it sounds like a bunch of crazy screaming girls
Yeah exactly! Sounds like a bunch of crazy kids running and screaming and hollering. Lol.
Same here. I hear them at least once a week. I was kinda scared to watch this thinking I might call them up. Last time I watched one at night one barked behind me to let me know he heard it.

They go "aaaaa", instead of the "ooooo" we'd expect from wolves or dogs

My teacher Mrs. Ryskamp said that coyotes are not like wolves cause they both howl different and she was like "Coyotes howls are more scarier cause it sounds more like a baby that got sick." So, i searched it up....
Coyotes are more high pitched so it sounds like a woman crying and weeping it’s bone chilling at night

A few years ago i was camping in Ensenada (Baja, Mexico) and around 3 am my husband and i woke up with this howlings, i live in the city and never hear this sound before, i was so afraid that i thought it was the chupacabras lol, it sounded like a small pack of coyotes.
Haha I hear them at night outside my work. Freaky if you don't know what it is.

Just about the only sound my dog will show any reaction to, and it's in guard dog mode, like "i don't like the sound of that, they better not try to come inside or I'll get them!". But we have been in the SW US desert where she has heard them for real.

Went to google cause I live next to mountains and it’s 3:52 am and I’m like uh there’s no dogs outside rn💀 but I’m familiar with the coyotes around I had to make sure it was them howling
On a friend's deck after a fire truck and 3 cop cars blaze their sirens, we heard this. Very buzzed, we just looked at each other. Wtf was that!!?? Scary if you're unaware, we heard 10 around us.
They're howling to try to drown out the sirens in the distance that are hurting their ears. I feel bad for them.
Doubt it...probably think the sirens are a nearby pack.

It's irry. I thought they were hollowing because they were attacking a dog. I didn't know they also bark like a dog. It freaks me out.
Why does everyone think that? Coyotes howl and yip every night in my neighborhood and all the neighbors post on the neighborhood app. "omg coyotes made a kill and were howling, i feel so bad for whoevers dog got killed." They dont yip when they make a kill they dont want to call attention to their meal. They yip to communicate.
They howl because they don't have phones. It's simply communication.
Get them when they shoot their guns, they will never expect it
Also if they are like burning houses⛽🚒 they will be blinded by the light from the flame 🔥⛽ they can't see behind them,
They depend highly on their cars, so they definitely will go out of their house, just dig out the electric poles, they will fall, no electricity, no light, wait by the door. When they open it, go inside, wait under the bed or somewhere, take a nap. Then chomp their neck
They can't attack you back if your latched onto their leg, under a car, just hold it and they will waste energy and damage themselves trying to free themselves
They have to use their cars, it's their strength, and weakness, they expect to get in their car, nope. 🐕🦺🦶😁
