Mama bear and cub visit a rub tree
Got a short visit from a female black bear and her cub at one of my trail cameras set up on a rub tree. Bears use these trees as a signpost throughout the year but especially during rutting season when looking for mates.
Filmed by me, using a remotely operated trail camera. All rights to the footage including audio are mine and mine alone. Not to be reproduced without written permission.

The most helpful bear ever caught on camera
มุมมอง 5997 หลายเดือนก่อน
This is a short clip of a large male cinnamon phase black bear that I got on camera a while back. Rather than taking out the camera like they usually do, he actually turned it around the tree to point at the female he was following during the mating season. There's a lot of luck involved with running trail cameras so I will take all the help I can get. As always on my channel, this footage, inc...

Take a Break with a Bear as He Relaxes in a Mountain Spring
มุมมอง 1.8Kปีที่แล้ว
This video is a series of clips of a male black bear (color phased) taking a dip in a mountain spring on a hot summer day. Temperatures in this area routinely reach the 90's in the warmer months so the bears take advantage of the water to cool down, often several times a day. Taken in Arizona. This footage is for sale, for inquiries or please contact me on Instagram: @coyotecams or leave me a c...
Mountain Lion Screams, Growls, and Purring: Mating Behavior
มุมมอง 12K2 ปีที่แล้ว
An amazing series of clips I got this year of a female mountain lion signaling to a male that she is in heat and ready to mate. After mating they will separate and the female will give birth and raise the cubs on her own. I call the male in this video Simba; he is a mature male mountain lion that I have been filming for a couple of years now. This is the first time I have seen him with a female...
Mud (and Flood) Javelinas
มุมมอง 1.7K3 ปีที่แล้ว
I've been wanting to get a shot of javelinas playing around in the mud for a long time, but it's kind of difficult to do when it almost never rains. Well the monsoon season this year has been wild so I finally got my chance. This is a group of about ten javelinas that visited this spot many times; the camera caught over thirty minutes worth of video of them rolling, playing, fighting, and just ...
Huge Mountain Lion Caught On Camera (Arizona)
มุมมอง 37K3 ปีที่แล้ว
I have been keeping tabs on this stunning mountain lion for several months now. He is a huge adult male, the largest lion I have seen on my trail cameras so far. Here he is checking out a scent marking that was left by a female in estrous just two days before. This video is a rare treat for me as lions are typically very difficult to catch on camera; roaming territories that are usually measure...
Rare Arizona Ocelot Sighting
มุมมอง 4.8K3 ปีที่แล้ว
I am so happy to share this footage of an Arizona ocelot with everyone. This is an extremely rare sighting, as there is currently only known to be one ocelot left in the state. Male ocelots will occasionally make their way to Arizona from Mexico through miles of rugged terrain. They are secretive and very difficult to track, being not much larger than a housecat. This is my first time ever seei...
Mountain Lion Stalking A Buck (Rare!)
มุมมอง 14K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Yesterday while checking my trail cameras I was thrilled to find I had captured this series of videos of a mountain lion stalking a large Coues buck, right in the frame of two of my cameras. I have time-stamped the videos; the mountain lion was following only two minutes behind, probably keeping enough distance to avoid being seen or heard. Mountain lions are usually quite secretive and difficu...
Roadrunners Killing Prey
มุมมอง 93K4 ปีที่แล้ว
This year I recorded hundreds of videos of roadrunners, mostly on a single camera located in one of my favorite areas. It took me forever to go through them all, and to my amazement I realized that in most of the clips they were actually taking down prey. Roadrunners are insanely good hunters, using their speed, agility, and sharp eyesight to chase down and kill basically anything they think th...
Arizona Autumn Trail Cameras
มุมมอง 1.3K4 ปีที่แล้ว
This video is approximately two weeks of footage on two trail cameras located in Southwest AZ. Temperatures are finally cooling down and it is the best time of year to get out and scout for new locations. I recently bought a vehicle capable of traveling off-road, so I'll be shifting some cameras around in the coming weeks now that I can get to new areas. The goal is to get to bear and mountain ...

This video is 25 days worth of wildlife footage across four trail cameras in the desert of Southwest Arizona. Everything from coatimundi, mountain lions, javelinas, bucks, foxes, and more are inhabiting this area. There are some pretty neat shots on this one, I hope you all enjoy and thanks for supporting my channel.

Doe Nursing Twin Fawns
มุมมอง 10K4 ปีที่แล้ว
I was lucky enough to place this trail camera in a spot where a doe has been raising her fawns for several months now. It has been really neat watching them grow up, and last week I got this amazing video of them nursing right in front of the camera. I go through hundreds of videos each time I check these cameras, and it is extremely rare to get such a nice shot of something like this. I also g...
Southwest AZ Wildlife Cameras

This video is from two trail cameras placed in a unique location that gets a lot of wildlife traffic. Visitors to these cameras include coyotes, bobcats, jackrabbits, javelinas, and a ton of roadrunners. About 25 years ago I went camping with my husband and 3 young sons..they were all under 11. My husband and the boys would go camping often as I wasn’t a camping kind of gal. I would go once in a while. One night we were asleep in our pop up camper. I kept hearing what I thought were some other campers drunk and pretending to howl at the moon. After about 20 minutes of this I got up opened the camper door and yelled SHUT UP!!. My husband jumped up and asked me what I was doing. I said “stupid asshole campers are howling like idiots and I can’t sleep. He looked at me like I had lost my mind. When he told me that they were coyotes I said what the hell are you thinking taking my kids where there are wild animals….he said…babe..we’re in the mountains with nature, they belong here. I felt a little silly, grinned and got back into bed and went to sleep.

I need help… We heard a cat “meowing”. We were outside. We just assumed the cat we could hear belonged to our neighbours. We couldn’t see the cat but we could hear it. The thing is, the cat never stopped “meowing”. It was getting annoying but we didn’t move a muscle. We were having a smoke outside on the veranda. 10 sec pass and the “meow” starts getting louder. Then it had more base. Before we knew it, the “meow” turned into what sounded like a person “mimicking” a cat but was yelling out the “meow”. Anyway we ran into the house and I grabbed my machete and waited by the back door. 😅 This wasn’t a cat. I’ve had 6 cats in my life. I know how they behave and what sound means what… This is based in the pacific. Could this be an animal?

I heard some from really far away as I was toking just now, it clearly sounded like howls, but near the end there were what seemed to be sounds of coyote struggle. I pray for the soul of whatever prey those coyotes had, and I hope the wiley coyotes enjoyed their midnight snack

It's wild to me how these predators can be so wily and clever, yet so dumb. They're sneaky and adaptive.. but also they think that siren was another coyote howling. With vids like this, one can sometimes forget these are the very same animals that will gang up and eat your dog alive if you leave it on a leash outside at night. They're ridiculous, but they're still dangerous and very opportunistic.

I Just Heard Coyotes outside my House.. It sounded like Hyenas, Sirens howls and a lot of other things. at first I thought it was some people making stupid noises. until I listened further. And found out that no human would be able to make these sounds. I clicked on this video to make sure I wasn’t going crazy. And low and behold.. it’s an exact match. (We don’t get Coyotes.. but apparently we do now.)
