- RED Raven RIGGED UP! // Here I show how to have the RED Raven camera rigged up for a studio production build as well as a run and gun build that allows you to be as mobile as a Canon 5d Mark iii (kind of) and I also show off my new stabilizer that I'll be using! I also test out the RODE SmartLav and in camera audio on the RED camera, RED Scarlet W! This video was shot on the RED Scarlet-W in 2K ProRes HQ which has a Dragon sensor so it is indeed a RED Dragon camera!

No need for matte box on a dslr lens. I recommend a set of xeen len’s with a nice slim tilta matte box. Should have got the tilta remote follow focus kit, way better buy, comes with the focus puller remote set

awesome video, How long do those batteries last with the red raven?
All depends. On average I think I get about a half hour of record time, maybe more. I'll have to do a test to get accurate time results!
What tripod and head are you rocking on that set up?
Also, if its not too much trouble could you put a list of other parts used?
It's the Manfrotto 502. I have a link provided to the Tripod in the description, along with most of the parts!

OK this may be a dumb question, but I just bought the same easy riser plate and the same clamp... about order some bars. As long as they are 15mm they will fit correctly? Saw some on amazon half the price of the one's Wooden Camera is selling.

So the easy riser is essentially what allows the raven to be compatible w/ tripods, sliders, jibs, stabilizers, etc. CORRECT?
It mainly allows you to attach the 15mm adapter to allow you to add rails to attach matte box and follow focus on your camera. It is also cheese plated to attach accessories but not necessary for attaching to tripods, sliders, jibs, or stabilizers.
Chris Murray gotcha. I’m about to buy a RED RAVEN, however I want to make sure that the stabilizer, slider, jib, etc. I am ordering is compatible. What is under the raven/red cameras?
It'll be compatible. It has 1/4-20 and two 3/8-16 on the base.

Thank you for not using any bootleg 3rd party accessories. They completely destroy the aesthetic of the camera.
If it works it works! But I try and support the brands that I like and have a good relationship and reputation with!
Please specify the accessories for a CHEAPEST build of RED Raven. Mention all must needed parts excluding the brain. Please please please.
