    I'm a pixel 6 user. Not the pro. And $600 for all that's packed into the device is just amazing. I don't need top tier anything. I just need what's good for me. Display, battery life, speaker, speed, etc., are all more valuable than what it's priced. I'll save those few hundred dollars and splurge on some accessories or other ecosystem devices.

Bear in mind the Exynos GPU is designed to run at 1900 mhz, but it gets too hot if they actually let it run at full speed, so they've clocked it back. The #1 thing that effects battery life is screen brightness. I've learned to make my screen as dem as I can possibly stand. At first it doesn't look as good because you get so used to it being bright. But then your eyes adapt and it's fine. I have easily gained 2 sometimes 3 hours on screen time just from adjusting brightness. It makes a hudge difference.

      There are many things you could do to increase battery life such as lowwering the screen refresh rate. I'm seeing reports that once the AI in the phone learns your habits the battery life increases as it learns what apps to shut off when you leave the house or what time of the day your likely to use an app that could be put to sleep when not likely to be used. Several reviews have mentioned after a week battery life increased for them.

    I had a P6Pro whose screen died and while on warranty (in another country) I got an S22 ultra and figured I will continue using it (just giving up on the pixel). My experience with the S22 ultra is different than others for some reason. I did also use the S21 ultra and also had the Note 10+, so I know a bit about Samsung phones. The S22 ultra takes significantly worse pictures, especially at night, than the Pixel. Its battery was also worse in standby and I saw myself with 10-20% at the end of the day, while the pixel lasts all day with more than 40% to spare (4-5 hours screen on time on average). The speaker comparison in this video is weak. In my person view, and I did test all 3 phones side by side including taking pictures at night, etc, the speakers on the Pixel are the cleanest. The iPhone speakers are tinny but do have a punch. Their EQ is set to a lot of treble and a bit of bass. The speakers on the S22 ultra are poor and they fealt like a big downgrade when I switched, but I got used to them after about 2 weeks. I personally came back to the pixel. I don't game, I don't like the SPen, I don't connect the phone to the computer and TBH the Samsung implementation is poor and I wouldn't want to work on that and would rather just use the phone instead. But that's just me I guess. Still have the S22 ultra, maybe I will try again in a few months.

    It's kind of unfair that in the camera test you were testing the Samsung with the 8k option and the iPhone with the 4k.
    So far 8k on the Samsung is bad with 24 fps which is really bad and let's be honest nobody is going to use the 8k camera in videos as it takes a lot of storage.
    Now I get why he used the 8k camera it's to show the maximum features each phone offers but it's not the best which Samsung has to offer.

      not really, 45watt charging is pretty safe on the longterm. That's why samsung didn't go crazy like other companies that made their phone able to charge on 80+watts (battery will degrade faster). So you shouldn't worry, my suggestion is probably to enable the battery saving option in the setting (it will limit ur phone to only charge until 85%)

    This video highlights the top advantages & disadvantages of each phone in one of the best unbiased ways I've seen so far. Due to multitasking options and customizations capability of the Samsung, I prefer that one as my daily driver. However, I also have the Iphone 8 max which I also use more for dependability of certain apps. But the Samsung is just plain fun and interesting like driving a Porshe (in terms of exhilarating ride and may come with some hiccups sometimes) and Apple is like driving a Camry (you will always know that you can get from A to B but may not be the most thrilling or offer a variety of options).

    • @HABO2210
      @HABO2210 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Wrong analogy. Porsche has no hiccups whatsoever and is pretty boring for a supercar, especially the new ones. Ferrari would be a more correct analogy (quick and extremely fun, but prone to hiccups). Apple is more like Prius IMO (trendy, reliable, but boring)

      Also, just a sidenote, for the supercar/sportscar analogy I would argue that a Porsche is faster than a Ferrari since out of the top 10 fastes laps on the Nürburgring 5 of them are Porsches and the first Ferrari comes at place 33.
      But I agree with your analogy. iPhone: Porsche Android: Ferrari
