- Coming soon to Ark: Survival Evolved patch 254: THE BARYONYX! The Baryonyx can be thought of as a sort of in-between of the raptor and the spino. Very fast on land, actually faster than a raptor, while very capable in the water as well. Here's more info about the Baryonyx:
Dossier
This dossier section is intended to be an exact copy of the text in the official dossier. There may be some discrepancies between this text and the in-game Baryonyx.
Wild: Like the Carnotaurus, Baryonyx aquafulgur is on the smaller end of the tier of large predators. While not as powerful as some deep-sea predators or Spinosaurus, Baryonyx is an extremely fast swimmer who is still nimble enough to threaten most creatures on the island.
Domesticated: Baryonyx's natural affinity for aquatic predation means that once tamed, it learns to kill ocean dwellers even more efficiently. Between its speed and its power, Baryonyx makes an ideal choice for anyone interested in frequently moving between water and land travel with ease, and valuing speed and agility over raw strength.
Known Information: And yet despite being a fast, dangerous dinosaur, Baryonyx almost exclusively eats fish and other water-dwellers. The highly specific metabolism of Baryonyx seems to allow it to heal wounds almost preternaturally fast after feeding on nutritious fish meat. Perhaps this is why Baryonyx rarely attacks land animals?
Behavior
The crocodile-like jaws and huge number of finely serrated teeth suggest that the Baryonyx was a fish-eater.
It most likely lived near bodies of water, due to the fact that it most likely ate fish as its main diet. It is also a very good swimmer, sometimes needing to go out into the water to get its prey, however, it is also said that its long claws are for catching prey on land, not just in water.
Not much is yet known about the Baryonyx's behavior as it has not yet been released in game.
Appearance
Baryonyx resembles a typical mid-sized carnivorous dinosaur except for its crocodile-like head and having longer arms with large claws. These features are specially adapted to the animal's diet of fish and other water-dwellers.

How did you ride the baryonyx, when you showed the circle pad, there was no ride button, is there some sort of ride command?

The Baryonyx will most likely get a little bigger. It will not be around the size of Spino though, that's Suchomimus. They look similar, but Baryonyx is around the size of a Carno. Just getting the misconception out of the way. Would be cool if they added the Suchomimus though. Also it might be Rudy from Ice Age 3 that caused the misconception aswell. Still callin a white Baryonyx Rudy even if it's small.
