Quetzals posture is god awful. He looks like a slouched over Brayden. It needs to look how it does in the dossier. The quetz should be able to reach a certain altitude where it can soar on the islands wind currents, solving the speed issue.

Oh yeah! They are in desperate need of TLC. I have a few ideas for new abilities Bat: Updated model. Can now land. Can Breed. Echolocation ability reveals things in the dark and any animals/enemies in the vicinity. Can cling to your back and allow you to glide for a short time. The more there are in a swarm, the stronger they get. Spider: Updated Model. Can climb walls. Can Breed. Can wrap prey in webs to completely immobilize it, it wears off over time. Scorpion: Updated model. Can now breed. Stinger now has dedicated attack button. Can grab smaller animals and carry them. Can also "hold" onto larger animals and sting them.
This guy doesnt have a concept of tiers, they arent gonna make the dodo the fucking prime 50k hp 5k damage mount, its just gonna stay a dodo, just the same as a frog is good at the start for CP farming but it falls off as you get later in
I think that the scorpion has two paths, a tankier battle field centric torpor machine, capable of grappling players and small dinosaurs and the like. Or useing it's high walking (I'll be it their sprint is pretty bad) to potentially make them used for strafing around wild dinosaurs as a taming mount, making the stinger a dedicated button with greater reach to help this play style. But IDK how eather of these ideas would function in game.
How about the poor titanoboa I think it should be able to wrap around and choke creatures holding it still and doing damage overtime until the creature dies or the boa dies At the moment the boa is so useless and hard to tame because it needs eggs but he looks cool and since it was a really strong and dangerous creature of its time it should be stronger in ark

The bat is actually really really underratted. The damage they deal to armor basically makes them Arthros with wings. Not to mention they can still give rabies even if tamed. And they serve as superb guard dogs
my fav stage of ark is mid game, basicly when you get into advanced smithy engrams. your best tames are carnos theris and maybe a rex. your base is stone or metal, you have chitin/flak for your armour and you get longnecks and pistols for the first time. it so fun because your not a noob where everything is hard, and your not a pro where everything is easy for me those to parts are kinda bland. It's very fun and simple even with a big tribe and on pvp believe me I had a tribe of 15 on pvp and this stage was still awesome! I dont even know how to explain the feeling its just so peacfull. Its sad how everybody just advances to pro so quickly and they dont enjoy the peacfull simple times. I suggest anybody seeing this try taking it slow with some friends in that time. trust me you will like it!
Bruv gimme a pack of Raptors to run around on. They used to be almost Useless until the TLC update they got with the new pounce ability and they got a Real pack bonus.
It already does that to me when I'm riding my thyla and I move fast enough to get under it before it hits the ground. Having it land on you then chase you is horrifying lol
I think they do well. They are not a mefa company like EA. 2nd the game is great. But i admit things like s+ should have been added a lot sooner. They do well in some areas poor in others but they do try overall. Not the best team out there for sure but its good product for the price. I enjoy the 20 dollar maps
NOO NOPE I thought the maps were pretty good except for extinction cause it felt kind of bland cause the wasteland was just so empty feeling for me and I thought extinction would’ve been better than abberation which I thought was amazing.
The Carno's arms are actually accurate. They really were stubby like that. As for making it faster, given that the real one was built for speed, I would say that makes sense on multiple levels.
I think the main creatures who are forgotten and need a tlc are the dimetrodon, carno, paracer, bronto, megalodon, the deer, and the giant duck you can ride.

The ‘megalodons’ currently in the game need to be re named to great whites and a megalomaniac which is bigger and more powerful than the mosa needs to be introduced
They should just completely rework the jellyfish, period. They did it with the Electrophorus, the jellyfish should not be able to sunblock anything. Instead, it should have a poison and slowing ability. That way, you're not forced to go through the ocean with a basilosaurus anymore
The carno doesn’t really need a rework. Just tame an allo or megalo. You described both of their abilities. Maybe add a ram attack but that’s all at most
S8 the Ninja Warrior but then people wouldn’t tame the allo or megalo since a carno is much easier to tame than those two and more common. So then the allo or megalo would need a rework right? Since they’d be useless if they did that to the carno.
Legit, the first time I tamed a ptera, plopped on a saddle, I flew it around and instinctively tried dive bombing fish in the water. Obviously that didn't work and it actually broke my heart a little.
Titanosaur should get a perk that makes it more Damage resilient the more damage it takes, it multiplies the damage resilience depending on how hard it gets hit aka what hit it and how much damage, so the more damage you pump on Dino stats the more resilient the Titanosaur is

The mosasaur is nowhere near the size of an actual megaladon mosa range from40to potentially 50ft and the biggest species of megalodon i think they were called the mammomth megaladon grew up to 80ft
Those size estimates for megalodon are super inaccurate. It was around the size of a mosa, if not a bit bigger at around 60ft while mosasaurus was averaging a round 50-55ft and funnily enough, the basilosaurus was longer then either of them, at around 62ft.
Don't forget the quetzel has to get more animals to pick up, like it can carry a Triceratops but it cannot carry a kepro which is ridiculous because the kepro is about half the size of a trike. so the questel definitely needs an update for that.
Tbh I think Brontos need stat buffs too. They should be these scary behemoths that you should try to avoid angering at all costs early game, and not just walking steaks. Pretty much all of the big Dinos need buffs and skin changes to make them look scary. Maybe as an extra touch they could implement really deep footstep sound effects, like that scene from Jurassic park.
Jerboa functionality on other maps like predicting rain on island and maybe meteor shower detection on extinction. Also a small patch to change the ranged attacks on a chalico would be nice. Boulder throw or poop throw option. I envy the wild ones and their slowing and poison abilities. It would also be neat if carrying Dino's got updates on what they could carry. I'd like to pick up a lystro and put it on something like an ape and get bonus XP buff while caving. Other small and mid size dinos struggle staying relevant in the game. I really think weight reduction, minor resistance to certain attacks, and other incentives should be introduced to a number of Dinos, with or without a full skin and mechanic rework.
3:15 A really cool ability they could add to the frog, the ability to swallow small creatures, such us dilos, pegos, compys, baby creatures, and even humans! Like check out the size between a player and a frog. This ability could slowly kill creatures inside, (digestion?) but anything inside could have a nerf of 80-90% attack.

Really are you kidding me with this wildcard needs to fix the whole entire game from the ground up, the game itself constantly keeps acting up and that's not just me it's a lot of other people I hang out with. What they need to do is stop making it so damn time consuming and actually make it fun, and I know a lot of you love 2 PVP but a lot of other people love to do other things as well. Explain the reason why most of the time people just stay in creative that way they can actually do what they want! And if you really wanted to make it interesting upgrade the Tek saddle so they can use machine guns and Rockets, so that way you can actually use them under water in the air and on the field.
MonstersRules They game has already been in development for almost 4 years and has been officially realeased. They wont make any big map changes and they definitely wont start from the ground up again. If they were to do that, why not just make another game? I love Ark, i still currently play Official PvP, but I dont believe that they will make any more big changes any time soon. They will just create another game, like atlas. I would love to see an Ark II or something of the sort.
MonstersRules I get your frustrations and this is coming from personal experience, ark has really never bugged up for me, on pc nor ps4. It has minor bugs that are sort of often usually involving AI but the biggest one I’ve ever encountered in my 3 years is getting stuck permanently on a spot on rag and aberration other that that I personally don’t have issues. But the grind thing, official has to be like that its base ark, that’s why I usually play on unofficial servers, find one that’s boosted to your liking to speed things up and maybe try a semi populated one cause sometimes the unpopulated ones shut down. Unofficial is great tho if you find the right server
I feel my top ten are scorpion, bat, carno, megalodon, ptera, megalania, deer/elk, manta, ichthy, and the sabertooth. Those are my picks for most needed improvement in terms of dire need. Almost every other dino mentioned in the video already has a common use. Quets, bronto, titan, etc all still are being tamed just not as often as they use to be. The dinos i suggested never get used and are often forgotten by everyone in the pvp and pve community respectively.
I actually really really like the brachiosaurus skin for the bronto, also I feel it makes more sense being in the game so I would love to see even though it’s a stretch, the bronto being changed to brachiosaurus while still having the same summon code etc, with maybe a slightly updated brachiosaurus look and better animations. I mean it would render the brachiosaurus skin useless I suppose but maybe they could replace that with a bronto skin that changes it back 😂

With the original fliers nerf, I feel like it only needed to affect Tapejara's and Pteras. The only thing you really wanted to increase on those was stam and speed (with maybe a small amount of weight to allow to carry more ammo). Argys and Quetzes needed Stam, Speed, weight and health. You really had decide which direction you wanted to take your bird in and level it accordingly. Argys don't need a buff at all, especially after their TLC, but I feel like Quetzes losing buffable speed hit it too hard.
having taken a look back at this video, I kind of agree on this, but I think the Bronto needs a bit of a melee update as well, maybe give it the foot stomping attacks that the titanosaur has as an alternate attack (But obviously it will deal less damage), and maybe make it where sauropod type dinos (including the Diplodocus, which also needs an extreme TLC) need to have their running (Trample damage / unfortunate dinos and players getting literally ran over and stomped into the ground) damage scale with their melee damage instead of it being a flat source of damage, it would make pvp a bit more interesting, and give people another reason to fear getting stepped on by these behemoths.
also, the ptera could use that water diving idea, which will make that extremely useless oxygen stat on flyers have a use, even if it's just for one or two dinos
The Pteranodon HAS a use tho, it's still the fastest flier (excluding the dive abilities of Griffin and Owl) and that barrel roll attack does solid damage, so a group of these guys, especially good bred ones, are solid for aerial combat runs. The trouble with the water creatures is that there just isn't currently much incentive for players to bother taming them, as there isn't all that much in Ark's oceans, the only unique things are biotoxin, pearls, and ammonite bile, all of which a Basilo gets you access to with no problem, there isn't much reason for a tribe to maintain a strong water-based presence because there isn't a need to, building an underwater base isn't even that viable as a way to hide your stuff as it's a Tek-tier item and requires a steady supply of element to power. So in addition to giving the water creatures some TLC (which they do need,although I don't agree with that Mosa dismount mechanic, that thing is terrifying enough as it is, and getting bumped off your mount in deep water while up against what is basically a swimming Rex is a guaranteed death sentence) there needs to be more interesting/worthwhile things going on in the water to incentivise players to actually go in the water.
I like your ideas. One thing I'd add: The pteradon would be awesome to gather prime meat from the sea in a dive bomb. But in addition let's see the pelagornis do the same and get prime fish meat. It is so difficult to find prime fish meat ffs! I remember when more sea creatures and sharks had it. Well no more. And when my baby Dinos ask for this, I am half tempted to just let them starve. Well not really, but you know my pain. I love the pelagornis. I used to rock around on one in the early days because water landings and stuff and kill a shark, get lots of prime fish since these things are shark magnets.
I’m late to the party but if they could make the quetzal like an auto pilot creature where you can put in cords and it would go there. There would also be a manual fly of course but along with a fly speed buff that could be a good way to transport a base load of loot.
I would give the titan an ability, something like an earthquake. The titan would start stomping onto the ground and that would deal to nearby creatures huge amounts of damage! I think it sounds pretty good :3 (btw im not en so if theres any grammar errors im sorry)
With the giga it definitely needs a looks change. With it being heavily mutated nowadays it would actually be more terrifying if they made it look scarier
It would be cool to see some sort of ability to the frog like either grabbing and pulling small dinos towards it or for creatures like the monkey can just be yanked straight into its mouth and eaten Edit: oh and about the titan being disabled by spikes maybe an ability where when it's running there's a charge like the bear and once it hits a point it can destroy certain tier builds like stone and wood and thatch (and do serious damage to metal) with its feet
The purlovia should be rideable but only with a tek saddle that allows you to go underground but see everything around it like echo location type thing. The saddle sets out vibrations and bouncing back giving the saddle info thus allowing you and the purlovia to see
The plesio really should be able to create whirlpools underwater, that just does 10 damage every second for 10 seconds. it would be so cool. they could even set a cooldown on it, like 60 seconds or something, but let it do something cool!
The Megalodon should have the Dire Wolf's sense of smell and similar mechanics to it. It should also cause the bleed effect, and get a buff when making something bleed.
I always thought that a good balance to the speed nerf is to make saddles tiers matter more, say ramshackle is 5 percent speed increase and it goes up by 5 or 2.5 percent each tier.
Okay, just a few ideas for the quetzal: So first of all make it 3x its original size it was absolutely HUGE Second of all, make it faster Third of all, make it aggressive, quetzals were known to be as a terror of the sky and could easily kill small creatures like pegos, humans, raptors, dilo, etc. Fourth, make it to where it could blow things back with its wing and do 67 something damage with a level 1 Lastly, make it to where it could pick up things in its mouth, its mouth is so huge it could pick up things from a raptor and under. This is just my personal opinion in what they should do with the quetzal
There are so many creatures in ark that need TLC, that when they add new creatures it just adds more to the TLC list, since they get over shadowed. Unfortunately its just not for PVP, a lot of these dinos need PVE purposes as well. The only time we tame stuff on PVE is because its got pretty colors from events.
They should add hybrids of dinos that you would have to find formulas for. And then you would have to make a certain structure for the cross-breeding that would be better at giving higher level hybrids depending on the level engram of the structure
A little late but never hurts. Titan should receive the hide ability like that of a basilisk. Essentially you can have a base that goes from ground level to titan. Same should be done for the golems. Someone is attempting to raid your base, they think they have won. Celebrating too early the base rises from the earth upon a might titan.
Give the titan the ability to destroy redwood trees. Similar to the bronto and regular trees. Even if not being able to harvest although if harvestable. They should gather a lot of sap and then make sap a bigger thing. Like an alternative to cementing paste

Ark Megalodons are a very correct size compared to the real animal. They only look small because everything else is gigantic.

They should just completely rework the jellyfish, period. They did it with the Electrophorus, the jellyfish should not be able to sunblock anything. Instead, it should have a poison and slowing ability. That way, you're not forced to go through the ocean with a basilosaurus anymore

The carno doesn’t really need a rework. Just tame an allo or megalo. You described both of their abilities. Maybe add a ram attack but that’s all at most

Legit, the first time I tamed a ptera, plopped on a saddle, I flew it around and instinctively tried dive bombing fish in the water. Obviously that didn't work and it actually broke my heart a little.
Titanosaur should get a perk that makes it more Damage resilient the more damage it takes, it multiplies the damage resilience depending on how hard it gets hit aka what hit it and how much damage, so the more damage you pump on Dino stats the more resilient the Titanosaur is

The mosasaur is nowhere near the size of an actual megaladon mosa range from40to potentially 50ft and the biggest species of megalodon i think they were called the mammomth megaladon grew up to 80ft

Those size estimates for megalodon are super inaccurate. It was around the size of a mosa, if not a bit bigger at around 60ft while mosasaurus was averaging a round 50-55ft and funnily enough, the basilosaurus was longer then either of them, at around 62ft.
Don't forget the quetzel has to get more animals to pick up, like it can carry a Triceratops but it cannot carry a kepro which is ridiculous because the kepro is about half the size of a trike. so the questel definitely needs an update for that.

Tbh I think Brontos need stat buffs too. They should be these scary behemoths that you should try to avoid angering at all costs early game, and not just walking steaks.
Pretty much all of the big Dinos need buffs and skin changes to make them look scary. Maybe as an extra touch they could implement really deep footstep sound effects, like that scene from Jurassic park.

Jerboa functionality on other maps like predicting rain on island and maybe meteor shower detection on extinction. Also a small patch to change the ranged attacks on a chalico would be nice. Boulder throw or poop throw option. I envy the wild ones and their slowing and poison abilities. It would also be neat if carrying Dino's got updates on what they could carry. I'd like to pick up a lystro and put it on something like an ape and get bonus XP buff while caving. Other small and mid size dinos struggle staying relevant in the game. I really think weight reduction, minor resistance to certain attacks, and other incentives should be introduced to a number of Dinos, with or without a full skin and mechanic rework.

Really are you kidding me with this wildcard needs to fix the whole entire game from the ground up, the game itself constantly keeps acting up and that's not just me it's a lot of other people I hang out with. What they need to do is stop making it so damn time consuming and actually make it fun, and I know a lot of you love 2 PVP but a lot of other people love to do other things as well. Explain the reason why most of the time people just stay in creative that way they can actually do what they want!
And if you really wanted to make it interesting upgrade the Tek saddle so they can use machine guns and Rockets, so that way you can actually use them under water in the air and on the field.

MonstersRules They game has already been in development for almost 4 years and has been officially realeased. They wont make any big map changes and they definitely wont start from the ground up again. If they were to do that, why not just make another game? I love Ark, i still currently play Official PvP, but I dont believe that they will make any more big changes any time soon. They will just create another game, like atlas. I would love to see an Ark II or something of the sort.
MonstersRules I get your frustrations and this is coming from personal experience, ark has really never bugged up for me, on pc nor ps4. It has minor bugs that are sort of often usually involving AI but the biggest one I’ve ever encountered in my 3 years is getting stuck permanently on a spot on rag and aberration other that that I personally don’t have issues. But the grind thing, official has to be like that its base ark, that’s why I usually play on unofficial servers, find one that’s boosted to your liking to speed things up and maybe try a semi populated one cause sometimes the unpopulated ones shut down. Unofficial is great tho if you find the right server
I feel my top ten are scorpion, bat, carno, megalodon, ptera, megalania, deer/elk, manta, ichthy, and the sabertooth. Those are my picks for most needed improvement in terms of dire need. Almost every other dino mentioned in the video already has a common use. Quets, bronto, titan, etc all still are being tamed just not as often as they use to be. The dinos i suggested never get used and are often forgotten by everyone in the pvp and pve community respectively.

I actually really really like the brachiosaurus skin for the bronto, also I feel it makes more sense being in the game so I would love to see even though it’s a stretch, the bronto being changed to brachiosaurus while still having the same summon code etc, with maybe a slightly updated brachiosaurus look and better animations. I mean it would render the brachiosaurus skin useless I suppose but maybe they could replace that with a bronto skin that changes it back 😂

With the original fliers nerf, I feel like it only needed to affect Tapejara's and Pteras. The only thing you really wanted to increase on those was stam and speed (with maybe a small amount of weight to allow to carry more ammo). Argys and Quetzes needed Stam, Speed, weight and health. You really had decide which direction you wanted to take your bird in and level it accordingly. Argys don't need a buff at all, especially after their TLC, but I feel like Quetzes losing buffable speed hit it too hard.
having taken a look back at this video, I kind of agree on this, but I think the Bronto needs a bit of a melee update as well, maybe give it the foot stomping attacks that the titanosaur has as an alternate attack (But obviously it will deal less damage), and maybe make it where sauropod type dinos (including the Diplodocus, which also needs an extreme TLC) need to have their running (Trample damage / unfortunate dinos and players getting literally ran over and stomped into the ground) damage scale with their melee damage instead of it being a flat source of damage, it would make pvp a bit more interesting, and give people another reason to fear getting stepped on by these behemoths.
also, the ptera could use that water diving idea, which will make that extremely useless oxygen stat on flyers have a use, even if it's just for one or two dinos

The Pteranodon HAS a use tho, it's still the fastest flier (excluding the dive abilities of Griffin and Owl) and that barrel roll attack does solid damage, so a group of these guys, especially good bred ones, are solid for aerial combat runs. The trouble with the water creatures is that there just isn't currently much incentive for players to bother taming them, as there isn't all that much in Ark's oceans, the only unique things are biotoxin, pearls, and ammonite bile, all of which a Basilo gets you access to with no problem, there isn't much reason for a tribe to maintain a strong water-based presence because there isn't a need to, building an underwater base isn't even that viable as a way to hide your stuff as it's a Tek-tier item and requires a steady supply of element to power. So in addition to giving the water creatures some TLC (which they do need,although I don't agree with that Mosa dismount mechanic, that thing is terrifying enough as it is, and getting bumped off your mount in deep water while up against what is basically a swimming Rex is a guaranteed death sentence) there needs to be more interesting/worthwhile things going on in the water to incentivise players to actually go in the water.
I like your ideas. One thing I'd add: The pteradon would be awesome to gather prime meat from the sea in a dive bomb. But in addition let's see the pelagornis do the same and get prime fish meat. It is so difficult to find prime fish meat ffs! I remember when more sea creatures and sharks had it. Well no more. And when my baby Dinos ask for this, I am half tempted to just let them starve. Well not really, but you know my pain.
I love the pelagornis. I used to rock around on one in the early days because water landings and stuff and kill a shark, get lots of prime fish since these things are shark magnets.

I’m late to the party but if they could make the quetzal like an auto pilot creature where you can put in cords and it would go there. There would also be a manual fly of course but along with a fly speed buff that could be a good way to transport a base load of loot.

I would give the titan an ability, something like an earthquake. The titan would start stomping onto the ground and that would deal to nearby creatures huge amounts of damage! I think it sounds pretty good :3 (btw im not en so if theres any grammar errors im sorry)
I'd be down for Titans being able to knock down those thicc Redwood trees, making them a terror for people with Redwood bases.
With the giga it definitely needs a looks change. With it being heavily mutated nowadays it would actually be more terrifying if they made it look scarier

It would be cool to see some sort of ability to the frog like either grabbing and pulling small dinos towards it or for creatures like the monkey can just be yanked straight into its mouth and eaten
Edit: oh and about the titan being disabled by spikes maybe an ability where when it's running there's a charge like the bear and once it hits a point it can destroy certain tier builds like stone and wood and thatch (and do serious damage to metal) with its feet

The purlovia should be rideable but only with a tek saddle that allows you to go underground but see everything around it like echo location type thing. The saddle sets out vibrations and bouncing back giving the saddle info thus allowing you and the purlovia to see

The Megalodon should have the Dire Wolf's sense of smell and similar mechanics to it. It should also cause the bleed effect, and get a buff when making something bleed.

I always thought that a good balance to the speed nerf is to make saddles tiers matter more, say ramshackle is 5 percent speed increase and it goes up by 5 or 2.5 percent each tier.
Okay, just a few ideas for the quetzal:
So first of all make it 3x its original size it was absolutely HUGE
Second of all, make it faster
Third of all, make it aggressive, quetzals were known to be as a terror of the sky and could easily kill small creatures like pegos, humans, raptors, dilo, etc.
Fourth, make it to where it could blow things back with its wing and do 67 something damage with a level 1
Lastly, make it to where it could pick up things in its mouth, its mouth is so huge it could pick up things from a raptor and under.
This is just my personal opinion in what they should do with the quetzal
I think the Carno shouldn't have a ram feature but a bashing feature were if you're hit with it it'll knock you off your tame
There are so many creatures in ark that need TLC, that when they add new creatures it just adds more to the TLC list, since they get over shadowed. Unfortunately its just not for PVP, a lot of these dinos need PVE purposes as well. The only time we tame stuff on PVE is because its got pretty colors from events.
They should add hybrids of dinos that you would have to find formulas for. And then you would have to make a certain structure for the cross-breeding that would be better at giving higher level hybrids depending on the level engram of the structure

A little late but never hurts. Titan should receive the hide ability like that of a basilisk. Essentially you can have a base that goes from ground level to titan. Same should be done for the golems. Someone is attempting to raid your base, they think they have won. Celebrating too early the base rises from the earth upon a might titan.
Give the titan the ability to destroy redwood trees. Similar to the bronto and regular trees. Even if not being able to harvest although if harvestable. They should gather a lot of sap and then make sap a bigger thing. Like an alternative to cementing paste
