You gotta create a support fleet around it. It’s an amphibious fortress. Needs stegos, a trio of Utah’s, a few trikes, a circle of Dilos or other venom, fire launchers in stables around the first floor perimeter ,and an drone horde of hornets or wasps.

Hey about the health and where it takes damage, I'm pretty sure The shell is bugged and transparent, so you were hitting his legs, for full damage, and his chest, for reduced damage. Im not sure tho just an observation

Hubert Kafel You get full imprint and mate boost on them with their saddle bps which are super accessible then you back up into a base and even if you trap it or giga it the fuck is so big that the giga’s bite AOE won’t reach the player on its head when they cryo it

Thanks. I don't really want to stress myself out staying up all night to rush these videos anymore. I'm now taking my time but being way more thorough and going way more in depth on the creatures, to make higher quality videos.
It's a god mode soaker it's just a little tricky to get it to hit the direct back of the shell or the underbelly you can get 270 and more saddle bps and hard saddles. We used it on a mega base on ps4 and we soaked the entire first chandelier really quick

If you wanna try soaking with the giant turtle, try using the benefits that the turtles have unlike the golem, have them mate boosted and imprint, it'll definitely have a better result

Then best choke point to use these in would be water area entrance from the very beginning 3 of em layer by layer you can’t go through without killing them and with turrets and aggressive water tames it will be a pain in the ass in shadow cave on abberation

It reminds me of the imperator class titans from the Warhammer 40k universe. They are huge mechanical robots that are like war gods to the imperium of man. And the Imperator class has a whole chapel ontop of its back. Which has large guns in the towers of the chaple.
Note: Though the turtle is not seen as a god of war
I remember I was on a server once I had a couple of these and I made tanks out of them with a working rocket Turrets and little turrets on top
The idea came from clone war tanks six legged ones

I think the space whale has a large advantage against the megachelon if it's covered in turrets.
The whale is too squishy, people can just use a compund bow and fabricated sniper to kill it quickly.
Edit: the build area of a whale is only 2×2, so you can't use it for anything more than a chair or a few crafting stations.

They had to something to balance the game since the big ol' turtle is pretty tough so I am glad they make turrets do a lot of damage. Also there is a potential to use it to glitch into bases so they were smart to make them very weak to base raiding. If you could take your whole base into a raid and tank also, that would be pretty game breaking.

I was picturing a pyramid build with ugly corners to compensate against turrets; walls are walls but ramps are simple machines, IDK if the pyramid-builders can mount turrets on ramps but it's not my problem
The grey on the shell get the full damage well the yellow (which is most) only takes 6 damage 👍

Can you build on wild megachelon? Because that would mean you could just build your base around some wild megachelon, and then build turrets on them so that they can defeat raiders as they swim around

It sounds like megachelon is not a great creature to deal with smaller creatures but stand under a giga, rex or titan and boost its health all the way and they won’t kill you in time so even with it’s slow attacks you can still end up killing the creature or if the megachelon doesn’t kill said target you will still unleash some Major damage just because of its large amount of health (: 👍

I think the idea of a giant turtle is a really neat concept, totally unique in the abilities it has and it has an interesting niche in the game. I have just one problem, the DESIGN! What were they thinking with this thing?! It has fucking human teeth! Christ it’s disturbing, honestly the design just completely turns me off of what could have been one of my favourite creatures. Thought the gasbags was gross at first too, but I’ve since come around to its cuteness. But this thing is just flat out unholy. I don’t know why WC didn’t just give it a beak like turtles actually have. The 6 legs are a neat touch, gives it a mystical vibe, but if it’s not the most disgracefully unappealing thing wildcard has cooked up, I don’t know what is.
