the player being protected in the saddle isn’t a glitch, the saddle is made to resist magma so it’s incredibly strong lol

It’s made to be indestructible and it’s the only saddle (I think) to ever protect you from taking damage from everything possible

Quick tip: you can also charge up your spit to 100% then bite. This will leave the spit active, and anything that walks by you will be set on fire. Also it gives you a chance to move and reposition and still have a spit charged up.

The magmasaurs are pacing around. Something isn’t right. The clues aren’t lining up. The matriarch is distraught. This was the heat season, the time of flourishing, but it got colder. Without the right heat, their young won’t hatch and the generation will be lost. Suddenly, an explosion. Cold rushes in, freezing everyone. It was the one the mothers told their children about. The most feared opponent. They heard legends about him from their fellow cousins, the wyverns and the drakes. In utter disbelief, they gazed at the most terrifying sight. On each side of him, two icy wyverns radiating coldness and evil and death. With his army of aviary demons behind him, he truly looked like the hell bringer. The infamous Wyvern King was here.

You can still spawn in creatures from genesis in the other maps even if you don’t own it. At least I could a few days ago on pc. I spawned in one of the huge turtle things. I’ll check if it still works later tonight when I get on.
I can't get it because my family's poor we haven't been paid in two months heck were struggling because of bills our internet bill never got paid so even when I finally get a card I can't use it

The devs really just wanted to invent napalm strikes of some sort, but didn’t have the support to put it in the game. They had to improvise. 🔥

Magmasaur is cooler than napalm bombs
This thing makes the dragon boss a pushover. Not only does it take no damage from lava, nor the dragon's fire attacks (outside of initial impact), not only are you (the rider) invulnerable to all harm, but it also sets the dragon on fire.
The dragon and overseer fights just got a whole lot easier.
Im currently on the island and terrified of the upcoming dragon boss. Imma transfer to genesis and get a magmasaur thanks for this.

This is quickly becoming my favorite dino: it looks great, is really strong with it’s fireball plus it can gather metal, stone, crystal, obsidian, thatch.
It was hard to get and raise but worth it imo.
Honestly, this guy has one of the coolest design of any Ark creature by far.
Soaked a base with this thing so easily, turrets on players only, and the saddle just took all the shots, doing 0 damage! Just completely broken

There will be a nerf coming up to make it so the mortor requires metal ingots to fire, And as i said in the space whale video, The green rocks, not the spikey ones, have Ambergris, The charge up also can be cancelled out by hitting left click, R2 or RT, And it will burn anything nearby, Water will also start taking damage when underwater

ive noticed if you do left+right click, occasionally it does this odd thing where the fireball is not spat out, and it makes this sort of rock chomping sound. if anyone can figure out what this is please do tell
Medieval like warfare is becoming more possible
In one of the magmasaur egg pits there’s a hidden spot inside lava where nothing can hit you and you can teleport out. And ambergris spawns on Lunar E (some rocks in spawn that have blue stripes)

I will add in I did test it on Val and you can swim in lava in the wyvern trench over there as well breed them highly recommended that you go to the shallow end though at the very bottom of the trench and set up some turrets to protect yourself from wyverns or anyone that's going to try to mess with you while you deal with these things breeding
I would love to see a Bloodstalker video! I remember the livestream where the devs said they could swim, but all I have seen is that they can skate on water. I hope ya'll test it.

@@pugbaccathegreat1073 haven't been able to play ARK for a while on my PC. I have pretty much exclusively relying on TH-camrs to get Genesis info. Unfortunately, I haven't found a TH-camr that has shown that feature.

You can also walk over those fire things on the ground on genesis and it will power you up
You can also press bite while charging to keep your heat active temporarily and set people on fire and correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it strengthens the furnace mode

I used a pteranodon and then I used a grappling hook to get down and up again. Got two eggs this way. The magmasaurs did almost get me though so that was more like a yolo momment
No riding flyers on genesis so you're on a modded server.
You gotta mention that when you get hit by flamethrower or fire breath attacks you can power up almost instantly and do rapid fire mortars
I'm imagining fire wyverns and flamthrower guys standing around a cluster of Magmasaurs creating artillery barrages.

Another tip, the spacewhale has speed based on time of acceleraton, meaning at first it's slow, but after about a minute, it goes into super speed and goes across the entire ocean map in about 1-2:30 mins
Just with regular movement or teleporting? I noticed it slowly starts moving faster the longer you are moving but didn't seem to get that much faster. How would you rank it with other creatures?
It's just the movement, the teleport puts you in whatever speed you were just in before teleporting

There’s only 1 thing I know that hits through the saddle is a magmasaur breath mortar thing and maybe the fire wyvern
Seems best for PvP which I dont play. I was surprised by how much damage it can take from fire wyverns.
Magmasaur needs metal ingots in inventory to spit fire now.

They can also swim in the lava on Valgoro without dying they don't take damage and that lava as well sorry if I spell the name of the map wrong
I miss when ark was a Dino game and thee most monster alien type Dino was wyverns but could still be killed with a good argy or Rex

So the magma is a siege weapon depending on the defense of the player and environment
I actually tamed a magmasaur on genesis but transferred it over to my single player ragnarok game.Farming metal became way easier on that map.

Since you didnt say it, because most people dont know, if you're in the volcano and in the saddle, it doesnt kill you nor hurt you, so you can easily lead someone into there and they'll die and you'll be fine
