Greetings, talking about Access bank, I believe you should advice your listeners of the planned rights issue. To avoid dilution, one should save up and buy more of Access bank and the FUGAZ banks during this period of recapitalization.

This is not the best time because are declaring bonuses and paying dividends because it is annual end of the year for all companies.when companies pay dividends and declare bonuses the price of shares goes know.the best time will be from September after they have closed year book.so pls don't tell people to sell now.

Playing the Nigeria Stock Market isnt for the weak. In other climes you can just close your eyes, buy a stock and be sure your ROI is assured.
But in Nigeria what we have is, few people manipulating and pumping the stocks to catch suckers.
I read somewhere that there is this person whose company accounts for 1/3 of all activities on the Nigerian stock exchange. Imagine that!
If you are gonna trade the Nigeria stock market, you have to be active so that whenever they are pumping, be ready to exit with your profit even if its little. That way, whenever they stop pumping and the stock falls, you can buy again to enjoy the ride up again. No one goes broke by taking profit.
Plus I just wish they will introduce short selling to the Nigerian Stock market, so that when these crooked CEOs artificially pump the price of their stock, guys in the know will short the hell out of their stocks as a way of punishing them!

Shares are being pumped all over the world not only in Nigeria. America has very volatile stock market. Hence pumping and other factors.

Playing the stock market and long term investment are two different things. Warren Buffet is a classic example of the latter.

The only sad part about, Nigeria stock exchange is the whole process you have to go through buying and selling stocks.
