Yes, but some brokers started to allow their clients to trade by themselves

Please what do I gain by opening an account on my stock with a stockbroker
Please can you recommend a good stock broker for me please it's very important to me.
Is this information still correct as at today 2024?
Thanks for the information Flo, but everyone wants to know the name of the stockbroker that you use. Do you mind sharing?
Sir, different stockbrokers have different minimum requirements for clients they accept. Follow the details in the video to choose a stockbroker based on your investment capabilities and goals. Before I can recommend one, I need to find out these from the person.
@@FloFinance Thanks Flo but you missed my point. I buy lands at Enugu and Awka and when people ask me who I went through, I tell them, PWAN and Braudy Global. That does not mean that they have to use them but for them to check them out and decide if they want to use them. I was looking for names but it looks like you do not want to share and thats ok. Keep up the good work.
I understood you perfectly. I recommend my contractors the same way but for stockbrokers? No, I won't do that.
Thank you Flo.
Question please: Can one have shares via multiple stockbrokers?
Can I stockbroker A managing my shares with Company A and Stockbroker B managing that with Company B?
Or it is a monogamous affair on the NSE?
Yes you can have more than one stcokbroker BUT why do you want to complicate your life like that?
I have more to say about this but I want to first of all know why you want to do this.
@@FloFinance let me give two practical possible reasons:
a) I have a stockbroker (SB) before seeing your video. This SB though active, doesn't check all the other boxes you highlighted such as website/app etc but due to long term relationship, I don't want to take everything under him.
b) For shares purchase/sales, commission percentage varies per SB. This is also same for customer service. So instead moving over completely to another, I want to work these two/three SBs and see whom I prefer or would recommend to friends and family for future transactions.
A possible 3rd reason is the scenario where one is not okay having all investments under one roof. Same we have more than one banker, SIM card, etc
@@chukwuebukailozumba3146 when you have a stockbroker, you don't have all your shares "under one roof" in that sense. All your shares are held at the central depository at CSCS. A stockbroker is just a mandatory middle man via whom you purchase and sell shares and other securities listed on the NGX, nothing more. They don't "manage" anything in that sense. If they disappear, your shares are still at CSCS.
What you are planning to do is similar to having a big 6-bedroom house but each time you have a new baby, instead of giving the child one room in that house, you go and build another house for that one baby. Totally unnecessary and over-complicating your investment life.
@@FloFinance I like this perspective. Will maintain what I have while exchanging with my friends about their experiences with their stockbrokers.
Thank you very much for the advice.
slow speach
madam what made you migrate from food vlogs to finance? the cpm? would you talk finance if it wasnt so lucrative?
Flo please I want you to be my stock broker. how much will I be paying you I have some money in the bank without any interest.
I want it to work for me a little.
I am still in confused from stroke at my early,,20 in Europe... So I am still in confusion.... So Flo how will I contact you and I choose you because I have been following you for a while. .
Justus I am not a licensed stockbroker and I do not invest for people. The only thing I offer is a paid guidance till you make your first investment. Even that, I can't do right now because I am occupied with other stuff in a remote location. From mid July, yes. Send me an email around then for the paid guidance.
I really am sorry that I can't help in the way you want.
