    Can one invest from abroad without NIN or bank account?

    • @FloFinance
      @FloFinance  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No. You need a bank account and because these days, before you can open a bank account, they will ask for your NIN so you need NIN too. Both of these can be obtained abroad if you live in a major city. Click this link: th-cam.com/video/mPEHma4FvxY/w-d-xo.html to watch a video explaining the process of opening a Nigerian bank account abroad and see if you can do that when you live.

    • @FloFinance
      @FloFinance  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No, a bond is not affected by economic crash. Based on the DMO's promise, whatever happens (unless it's an apocalyse or something), all your interests will be paid as and when due and your capital will be paid back to you on maturity. Watch this video: th-cam.com/video/CkPptlSEwwY/w-d-xo.html for a full understanding of what I just said.

    Hi Flo, you're really doing a good job here but i will suggest that you direct your viewers to go to independent financial advisers for theirs inquiries and further directives because there's no banks' staff in any Nigeria bank or stockbrokers' staff in Nigeria that will give you a financial advice in their office that will favour you when your good money is in their custody. Honesty, I'm speaking from experience.

    • @FloFinance
      @FloFinance  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Bankers and stockbrokers are not trained to give financial advice. They are only there to do what you tell them. This is the same everywhere in the world. That's why we have investment bankers separate from bankers.
      That said, I don't direct people to financial advisers because I don't use one. If I analyse an investment, I'll know if it is good for ME or not. I don't advise people either because what is good for me may not be good for another person. We all have different investment goals. I can only GUIDE someone on how to invest in something THEY have already determined is good for them but don't know how to go about it, you get?
      The way I learnt how to and what to invest in:
      1. I hear about it from my friends or on the internet.
      2. I do my own research. These days there are tons of information online about these. This is also where a financial adviser comes in for those who are new to investing.
      3. I ask my friends that are knowledgeable to share their experiences investing in that thing.
      4. I invest if it is right for me.
      So please always watch my videos like you are listening to a friend sharing her experiences investing. You still need to do your own research. Investment is not something one just jumps into because someone mentioned it. My job here is to create awareness.

    Teacher Flo, you made a mistake @1:47 you said if your monthly need is 50 then multiple 50k by 4 that means you need 200k yearly. Let me correct you with the correct formula. It supposed to be 50,000 x 3 x 4 = 600,000 for a year. In reverse 600,000 ÷ 12 = 50,000 Monthly.

      Im very interested in this FG Bond, in fact it is much better than opening some business that are likely to fail due to Naija situation, also better than building rental houses that tenants will rent and won't pay rents....BUT.... I'm waiting for Naira to Dollar rate to stand at a stable rate. It doesn't matter if 1 dollar is 1300 Naira but let it stay stable for a long time so we can plan with the stable rate. When the rate is stabilized then I will contact your email on this FGN bond investment. Hope your email is made available here?

    • @FloFinance
      @FloFinance  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      For one FGN investment, you will be paid interest 4 times a year. So the maximum you will earn per year on an investment that pays you 50K per quarter is 200K. I hope you now understand where the 200K came from. If not, watch the following video: th-cam.com/video/z49RvM-JKoQ/w-d-xo.html where I explain how FGN Bond coupon payments work. Please i think it will be helpful if you can tell us a broker you've tried and you had a smooth ( non hidden charges / tax or manipulation of rates) business with them regarding this FGN bond. I made this request based on my brothers' experience with Nigeria banks on treasury bills and nigeria stockbrokers on FGN bonds. Non of them will tell you simple truth . I heard that fGN tax on bonds and treasury these days . Please can you throw more light to this. Thanks

    • @FloFinance
      @FloFinance  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Some of this information you seek are online. A simple google search will tell you that FGN Bonds are exempt from tax. The info is right there on the FIRS website. You expect too much from bankers. Most of them don't know how to calculate simple interest. I remember back in the day when I was fixing my money. I was the one calculating my interests by myself. 😂 They are only trained to bring big customers to the bank.

    • @MaxSteph-wb4gf
      @MaxSteph-wb4gf 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@FloFinance Hahah, honestly, almost all Nigeria banks staffs working in each assigned department in Nigerian banks know what they're doing . They're trained to lure you to keep your money in their banks all in the name of during you a favour. The CBN empowered commerical banks and financial institutions in Nigeria to carry out all kinds of wicked acts without proper and efficient disciplinary measures to transparency, honesty ,accountability and financial institutions not ripping off helpless Nigerians . If you go to 50 branches of one particular bank in a state to make an inquiry on one particular thing or investment , all that departmental officers will tell you different things that Will make you to dash your hope to the air on what you went there for . Nigerian Banks use people's money in their banks to trade treasury bills ,bonds , fx , real estate and stocks yet they can't pay their customers common 4% annually , instead they're charging you for service charge, alerts which are higer than what your networks are charging you.
