Very interesting Flo,you simplified it as ABC. I so wish investment was a thing we inculcated into our lives at an early stage of life. Am sharing this video to a whole of my friends.
Oh Auntie Flo, Thank you so much Ma for this Great eye opening lecture, I learnt a whole lot. Is straight to action for me and also sharing this video/channel to as many as I can. You're Blessed Forever.
Wow. This is really cool information. You know a lot aunty Flo. I like this mutual fund investment. I will go to the description and get their contacts. You are not just expert in kitchen and household department, you are also knowledgeable in finance. See how you just refreshed my brain with Simple interest mathematics. I remove cap for you 🥰

Big Sis, this really sounds good ooo. Imagine infact, I will sack this my account officer in first bank ooo for not keeping me informed Lol! See what I have been missing. Thanks Big Sis for yet another informative content👍.
I don't know why Nigerian account officers are not trained to market these investment opportunities to customers. All they know is "come and pay money into your account" 😂 So it's not just your account officer Nne.
Mama Flo,thank you, thank you very much for this. Just found this new channel today and subscriberd so fast. I have been so interested in mutual funds and this has helped me a lot, didn't know first bank has one. Please can this be done online from anywhere or we have to be present physically in Nigeria. I have been your loyal fan from the days of All Nigerian recipes. Best line is (Bye bye see you soon)
Yes First Bank has a whole subsidiary set aside for Mutual.Funds: FBNQuest Asset Management. And yes, everything is done online these days. The only prerequisite is that you must have an operational Nigerian bank account (in ANY bank, must not be First Bank). Then contact FBNQuest (links in the description box) and say you want to invest in this fund. There are other funds which you can read up on on their website. But this one is the most attractive to me based on past yield and how affordable it is.
@@FloFinance Wow! You took your time to fully respond to me in details, I do not take this for granted Aunty Flo. Thank you so much. I will definitely read more about it on their website and do the necessary. Am extraordinary grateful ma.
😂 Ije bikokwe. I think this simple interest is the most used formula in all these investments. So now that you know how to calculate your money, you are covered. 🤣
@@chimereh.achilefu9176 the charges for all these are always quoted in percentages which typically is around 1.5% in the industry. For this fund, the management fee is 1.5% and they quote the NET yield which means they have already deducted their management fee before telling you the yield. For instance with that 2019 yield that was 20.6%, that's what YOU the investor will get because they have already deducted their fee. For stockbrokers, you ONLY pay them commission when they buy/sell shares for you and usually their commission is about 1.5% on the value of the shares you are buying, a bit more if you are selling. Then you pay SEC or NSE fees depending on whether you are buying or selling, CSCS fees, stamp duty, VAT. All these are tiny amounts. For instance looking at one of my contract notes for shares I bought sometime ago, I see that I paid 1.57% in stockbroker commission, 0.7% in SEC and CSCS fees, 0.07% for stamp and 0.07% VAT. I will get into all that in future videos but these fees are usually a small amount compared to the principal amount. For instance 1.57% of say N100,000 worth of shares is N1,570, and N15,700 for N1,000,000 worth of shares.
Goodday beautiful sister .i had been following your video and always like .but i decided to subscribe .because you are indeed good in your work.please i am interested in this.God bless you and your family

In the history of my being a shareholder with Nigerian companies, NOBODY working with registrars can divert your dividends. Only your family members who can accurately forge your signature and know other information about you can do that. The time you did not receive dividends may probably be because you did not activate eDividend payments (linking your shareholder accounts to your bank) so when they (Nigerian stock exchange) stopped the issuing of paper warrants, you did not receive anything. But as you saw, you came back and all your unclaimed dividends were there for you.
Each company you invest in releases financial reports ever year. And in that financial report, the amount paid out in dividends is stated there. Then use that to multiply the number of shares you hold with the company and you will get the amount of money you should be paid by that company. Repeat for every company you hold their shares. The organized companies upload the financial report on their websites. Watch these two videos. Yes, based on the assurance they gave me, it's safe as long as the investor does not liquidate during a downturn. For instance some bonds dipped at the peak of the pandemic this year March/April but they are back in the positive territory now.
