    Hi everyone, thanks for joining me on the mat today! I thought I'd take you through my own personal flexibility yoga practice. This is the style of yoga and the types of poses I tend to do the most at home. This is a 30 minute slow flow vinyasa yoga class that will open up your hips and hamstrings and help you tune in to your body and relax. This is an intermediate yoga class and I'm not using any props but if you have blocks, keep them close as they can make some poses more comfortable.
    The key is to breathe deeply and pay attention to your internal dialogue as you move in and out of these yoga poses. Some are more challenging than others but they all require our attention and they all have something to teach us about ourselves. I hope you enjoy this yummy deep stretch relaxing slow flow for flexibility!

      Tried this one last night and it really works the legs. I find this one hard but that's great as it shows me what I need to work on and something to aim for. Then this morning I did the 15 minute gentle yoga and that worked well for me after doing this deep stretch one last night. Thanks again Kassandra 😀

    Thank you Kassandra! I can’t do a full split, and just as I was coming into it, the extent I could, I heard your kind encouragement and smiled. I notice a process every time you announce “intermediate”, that says, nope, you can’t do it. And learning to go ahead and try it anyway. Truly resonate with your invitation that this is an awareness practice, and the body is simply giving me information. And to work with it where it wants to be met today.     this session was absolutely life changing. i’ve been wanting to get into yoga for so long now. you made me feel so comfortable and conscious of myself. even though i can’t do the stretches as well as some other people can, it felt amazing to really open up all of those muscles in such a peaceful and progressive for the first time in my life. i can’t wait for more sessions. thank you 🫶

    Hi Kassandra. I have really been enjoying your yoga videos for about the last month. I'm still a beginner and very tight in the hamstrings, but I work these intermediate classes with modifications to do the pose correctly and without harming myself. I struggle with downward dog, pigeon, half splits, and a number of others but I enjoy the challenge. Those poses are on my vision board for 2023, as well as sitting in lotus. They make take me longer than a year, but that is not the point. I want to express my continued gratitude for the role you play in my self care routine. Yoga, as guided by you, is becoming a way of loving myself. I'll keep coming back. Thank you and namaste.

    Gm Cassandra . It's wonderful to have this experience with you as my instructor. This class was slow but some of the poses were quite challenging but, I tried them all. The full split was the most challenging. My back leg could not straighten but I did my best. Thanks . My body feels like I did a high intensity class😂

    My cats do that too! I shut them out of the room today so I could concentrate on this practice! I found the practice hard because I'm too inflexible to get into a lot of the poses but it's good to aspire towards them and do the best I can for now in the hope that will relieve some of the discomfort in my hips and glutes.     Wanna say thank you so much for making this. Ive been a weightlifter for 10+ years and never stretched. Now it biting me in the butt with tight hips hamstring and calf and low back pain.     I really appreciate you doing some slow flow/ stretches!!! I had a back injury a while back and have started using yoga as a way to maintain my strength and increase my flexibility while I’m rehabbing. The faster flow classes cause back pain and frustration for me so I’m very much appreciate you having classes that I can do and feel so good afterwards! I’ve found a new practice with your yoga classes that I am sure I’m going to keep even after my back is fully healed. Also, love the cats❤

    I liked it, I loved the cats intervention and I got horrified with the split 😂 and the pose before.. that I couldn't do! And now I'm dreaming that maybe one day I will be able to do a split... Hahaha Thank you for this class!
