      Really beneficial neck and shoulder yoga. I slowed it down to 75% for a longer stretch and extra breaths. Twice a day for two days, morning and night. I am starting to return to feeling well. Thank you so much.

      This is TOTALLY going to be me. I skipped my practice yesterday before work, a physical job, and was a total mess! Never ever ever never skipping my ayem Kassandra again! This is a new staple for me. Stretched muscles I had no clue were there!

    Kassandra, I've been doing your classes for a couple of years and just love you. You never run out of variations and I never get tired of your voice. This one, in particular, was exactly what I needed. I spent the weekend volunteering at a spay/neuter clinic for cats, something I believe in very much and love doing. We got through nearly 400 cats in three days. I came home exhausted, slept nine hours, and then worked out the kinks with this class, all the while sending you the very best wishes. I know how much you love cats so I wanted to share that with you. 😺

    Me and my little cat are always soothed by your voice, Kassandra. Today for the first time I do this alone, with tears, as little cat passed away 2 days ago. Thanks for being you and what you do. It has mattered a whole lot this year.

      My sweet kitty used to practice with Kassandra and me as well. Reading your post and thinking about it brings tears to my eyes now - 2 years since losing her to cancer. Sweet, sweet, though with tears - memories.

    Dear Kassandra, this class saved my weekend. I came home so burnt out from my week and so unbelievably tight in the neck and shoulders. I'm a high school teacher whose job feels more like parenting and social work these days. Thanks to this sequence, I will not be nursing a tension headache today. Thank you for everything you do.

    This is my go-to video for relieving neck pain. I have some cervical disc damage and when it flares up (because I'm not doing enough movement in general), this sequence hits every spot. Love her cues.

    I guess I know now the secret about Kassandra - what makes her yoga classes so special and what makes me stay with her for years through pandemic, pregnancy and now war: I never feel clumsy or immobile during the training. There is always an easier option which is presented as just another variation. And this is brilliant

    This is good yoga. I got cervical kyphosis or military neck from working a lot and computer time. I'll do this everyday twice to get those muscles to relax. Really helps, thanks.

    I woke up yesterday with a pinched nerve in my neck from the base of my skull down into my rhomboid. It makes sense, I drive rideshare for 4-5 hours 5-6 nights a week, and these last 3 weeks I have hardly stretched. I spent a week laying down due to illness, and got out of my stretching groove. It doesn't feel totally better after this session, but I'm using a heating pad and continuing to stretch and I know it will heal soon. These videos are a golden resource and the only yoga I've been doing for a couple years now. So grateful for the time, effort, expertise, and love that has gone into creating this for the world

    I suffer from degenerative disc disease and had surgery 35 years ago (L4/5). I practice yoga routinely as a way to help me stay mobile. My neck and upper back have of late been bothering. While I have enjoyed the general yoga classes you offer these that are intended for specific areas of the body have been a blessing! Love the pace and invitations to accommodate poses.     Kassandra, I enjoyed this practice the day you posted it, but have been too busy to express my gratitude. Based on several things you've said, I feel like our bodies have similar challenges and I found this practice to be extremely beneficial and one I should likely add into my weekly routine, at least one day a week. I sit a lot for my job and type often and since that has been my daily reality, I tend to hold tightness in my traps and mid spine area. Your classes have helped me become more supple, as well as some supportive pilates I've tried with Jessica Vallant. After having this issue for so long it is such a relief to find some movements that help. Thank you

    This was a miracle, I have really intense neck and shoulder pain so much so that it radiates into my wrists and I can't bend them or put any pressure on them while bent and the start of this video was nearly unbearable with the stretch on my wrists but I could bend both wrists with minimal pain afterwards. Amazing

    Broke my leg and ankle in December &my foot was backwards from a fall. I apparently talked about yoga and when I could do it again the entire time I was under while they put my bones and foot back! After 5 long months I started your videos again. Modifying many poses.     We can be so negligent to the tension in our own bodies. I have not slept well for quite a while and couldn't identify the reason why. I thought trying this out might help. I didn't realize how much tension has accumulated in my neck, my shoulder, and my upper back until I finished this. Now my whole head and upper body feel lighter and I am with more ease.     I think this is the best neck and shoulders stretch I’ve tried. It goes really deep, stretching deep muscles, the holds are long, allowing the stretch to happen. I work at the desk, so neck and shoulders pain and tension are frequent- I will be coming back to this practice.
