In this video I'm talking a little bit about the fact that we brazilians seem to be singing when we speak portuguese!
If you want to sound like a native brazilian portuguese speaker, you must watch this video and see how important it is to use the correct intonation!
The video I mentioned: • Brazilians: Please Sto...

This is a an Epiphany and makes me understand why I love the way Brasileros speak. I'm a musician and really sensitive to intonation. Three notes can be played some many different ways especially with a string instrument. This makes so much of the language and grammar make sense to me. Thank you!

Tchau Prof!

It's cool how intonation seems to be a kind of universal thing in languages. On a side note, I really love your accent, everything you say sounds so pretty. I just love listening to you speak both English and Portuguese.

Technically “she sings good” is incorrect but it’s soooo common to hear in informal speech haha. Actually, it probably wouldn’t even be noticed if you said it in a formal setting either lol. It’s really common.

I used to think I could speak a bit of Portuguese, but then I realized I was just speaking Spanish with the Brazilian "melody"
