When I changed out my tweeters in my taco I just cut the positive and negative wires without messin with any of the plugs and just wired my new tweeters back in much more simple lol
Mine came with a little flat metal strip that allowed me to just screw it back into the factory tweeter mounts I went with power acoustik nb. 2 from Sonic Electronix they are really nice great sound quality and really catches the highs well in my opinion
I have a tacoma, but the like low model (everything is manual except the shifter). I was looking on your site a while back and it showed only one with auto door locks and such. I don't have that and I can only find one bolt within the door panel, are the rest retaining pins?
So I just installed an after market alpine and got the harness from SCORSCH, I connected all the applicable wires. Will this harness recognize my tweeters?
Hello. I bought the alpine sps 610c and I got a doubt! Do I connect the tweeters directly into the speakers? Or through a cable that is included that have something in the middle? Like a fuse a volt or something I really don't know. I didn't bought them at crutchfield and they won't help me because of that -_-
What about hot gluing the speaker into the mount ?
You disconnected your stock wire plug but I see you have wires coming outta the tweeter what is that connected too?
Why install them behind the bracket? Curious since the factory tweeter is in front of bracket. Just preference?
I'm pretty sure that it was put behind the bracket by mistake.
its because we tried in front and it hits the door panel. not much room in there
how do you wire it? do you cut the stock wire and crimp them together? does this go for the 6x9s too?
Do ur speaker mounts fit a 2014 Tacoma Access Cab ?
yes
Can you not use the adapter that is on the stock tweeter?
Daniel Crosser yes you can I did n I'm not even no sound technician just a guy who loves music
@djbomboclatpots The truck comes with non-standard 6x9 speakers. Thus the reason for our adapters.

Do you sell the tweeter harness and will it work for an 08 4runner?
yes, and yes
Are tweeters a extension of your speakers?
