I did research and found out that right after the factory harness to the tweeter, if you rip off rye heat shrink. You can see that the wires run in parallel and you can cut the wires after the parallel right at the old tweeter and then run those two wires too your crossover

What is the process if you are installing components with no crossover?

componenets have a crossover. or else its just a coax.. in some cases it is built into the tweeter so you cant see it, in this case you just need to join the 2 positive wires to the positive terminal on the tweeter, then do same with negatives. this provides the tweeter withn the full range signal(which it then filters) and also passes the rest of that signal over to the mid range in your door.

    No soldering?

soldering is best practice. But most DIYers are not setup for solder. Plus it is dangerous for new guys to be soldering in their vehicle.

How would you connect the crossover for the front door in a Toyota Tacoma 2008 base model? Would I be connecting from the factory tweeter cable like mentioned in this video or from the factory speaker wire that was ignored? (which I saw in another video, although the vehicle was not a Tacoma) I will be doing a speaker install tomorrow so I hope you can see this in time lol.

@@danieldelatorres6521 Thanks for the reply bro, I actually followed the 4 wires till I found the main two, power and negative. Tapped into those and they became my input/output. Everything worked out and they sound great!

Hey bro i bought these speakers for my Toyota Tacoma. I want to get the most of them. Do you think I should get an amp for them? And a line out converter? I do not want to add subs so would that matter? I’ve watched all your car audio videos by the way. Thank you for everything

Wait. So why cut the connectors off of the tweet wire?
Also. I ordered this exact kit and it didn't come with zip ties or speaker cable. I like the kit, but I've had to make 2 runs to the store for ties/cables. Also the tweeter mount was way too big. I wrapped lots of electrical tape around it. Probably 3-4 feet on each one.

Can you make a video on how to remove the rear cab speakers in a 2001 Toyota Tacoma? I can't find one video on TH-cam on how to do this

Please help, I bought a 2015 Toyota Tacoma TRD off-road Access Cab. I recently had an SR5 Toyota Tacoma. The excess cab has no speakers in the rear. Only 2 tweeters and door speakers up front, I would like to put a subwoofer between the two rear foldable seats or some speakers in the doors. I have no idea how to do this since there are no existing wires and no speakers to replace where do I start and what do I need and what do you suggest?

Michael King idk if you figured it out yet. I have not put speakers in my rear of my access cab as I don’t think I need them since I made a downfire 10” sub box for the middle console in between the seats in my 2010. I just did the front door speakers and tweeters and if you read the comment I just did you don’t need to buy there harness adapter either

Michael King but also you would need to put an amp somewhere and run your speaker wires to the amp. Unless your head unit can handle all of them.
