Hi Maurice and thanks for your nice comment! It's always good to know that others are active whether riding long distances or around the block. Moving is the main objective. I always say "If we stop moving, pretty soon we will stop moving". Take care, Steve
Can she ride over 70??? You two are AMAZING BEASTS!! I am not yet 60, and I hope I can be half as energetic as you two!! Luv ya both and am expecting many more rides and hikes from both of you!!
Hi Amy, great to hear from you. Hope all is well in Groton. We have lots of plans to ride and video this summer. We're going to Amsterdam in June to do a Bike/Boat trip to many Islands in the Netherlands. Should be fun. Thanks again and have a wonderful weekend. You are becoming special to both of us. Take care, Steve
Snow Canyon is a favorite of ours. We rode the Spanish Moss Trail in SC today and my 74 year old husband gave it 2 thumbs up. Life is better on a bike.
Hi Elizabeth and thanks for checking in. I hope all is well with you. It was worth the trip. Especially when we visited Zion Nat'l Park. I'm going to start working on that video tomorrow. Take care, Steve
3 minutes plus 2 bonus minutes. St George Utah looks fantastic. Last year, I rented an RV and took my family from SLC to Phoenix. It was such an amazing place with all the National Parks we stopped at. I wished I had the chance to bicycle but sadly no time. There is no picture of Zion that will show how amazing it really was.
Hi there and thanks for your comment. I agree, there are no words, videos or pictures that can do justice to Zion. I will be posting a video of our bike ride through the Park, however when I look back at the footage, it pails by comparison of being there. Thanks again and have a great day Steve
Hi again, it was a really nice trip. Jan was riding her 2017 Jamis Renegade. Great gravel bike, weighs 21 lbs. We took our bikes with us on this trip. I rode my 2019 Jamis Renegade, same bike I rode from Key West to Canada. Thanks again, take care, Steve
Hi David and thanks for your comment! We will have to try biking that Scenic Drive next time we're in Vegas. Jan's sister lives in Henderson and we visit a few times a year. Thanks again and take care, Steve
Hi Beck and thanks for your comment. I hope you are doing well. High elevation is no joke. Jan did great on this ride. Her limit is 35 miles a day on varied terrain. Thanks again and all the best, Steve
Hi Russell and thanks for your comment! It was a beautiful area. And Jan is all of 70 plus. She is in great shape and makes my life complete. Thanks again and all the best, Steve
Hi there and thanks for watching. I use a combination of sites. The best place to start is TH-cam. If I'm going to be in a particular location I search TH-cam for Bike trails or bike rides in that area. For example I found this trail by searching "bike trails St George Utah". Other resources include searching "Ride with GPS" and "Gravel Maps". Also a general google search for bike rides in a particular location. It takes some research, but well worth it before your trip. Thanks again and all the best, Steve
Beautiful! As an east coaster, I’d be interested to know how you planned this trip (how you decided where to ride), and whether you rented bikes or took your own. Maybe a future video? Thanks for the dream fuel.
Of course she can! Way to go Jan🙂
Goo morning! Jan say's Thanks. Have a great day, Steve
