I think it would be so cool if you put a mini GoPro on Kyra for one of these adventures to see what he finds when he goes exploring! Love these videos, really inspiring :)
I’m a girl watching your adventures from Germany. Girl, you are SO brave! I have a tattoo that says “luck will help the brave” and it’s so true. You’re so inspiring, and your dog is so cute (I’m usually not a dog person) but omg, I just love following what you do. I’ll check out your patreon! Always stay safe ❤ much love from Europe x
Fellow Canadian (Ont.) here. Just came across your channel. I’m retired so I can go backcountry canoeing when I want but you and my daughter are kindred spirits. She keeps her camping gear in her vehicle so she can go camping at will with her dog. She also joins me on my canoe trips when her work allows. So great to see an articulate young lady producing these videos, living the dream and being a role model for others. Keep it up. 👍
At a certain age, with a certain amount of freedom, and a certain amount of adventurous spirit--all of which you possess--such an experience opens one's eyes to the unimagined wonders of the world beyond one's realm of experience. It is intoxicating, transformational, addicting, overwhelming, inexpressible. Thank you for bringing us along on your journey of wonder.
I literally did the same thing. I drove from Oregon. I have been exploring southern Utah and the four corners area for over a month now. Such an amazing and beautiful place. Arches, Canyonlands, La Sal mountains, Valley of the gods, Monument valley the list goes on and on. Mind blowing beauty.
You are a beautiful person who appreciates God's Beautiful creations. Your love for the mountains and outdoors and your smile are enlightening. Keep living and being you
That sunrise ☀️ was nothing short of majestic. The way the rivers ran between the canyons with the sun peaking over the vally.....I mean WOW 👌 nicely done Madison
Southern Utah is one of the only places on Earth that can rival Arizona in terms of desert beauty. Those slot canyons you ventured through look fantastic!
I found your channel from watching Salvage to Scenic and it’s cool to see your perspective of the scenery and Jake’s perspective. Looked like a lot of fun!
I love the west. Being from the east side of the states I don't get to see it that much, but really want to get back out there. For camping I've started sleeping in the bed of my Tacoma. I bought a cap and use a light weight tarp to keep rain water out, and use a mosquito net to keep the bugs out. I love your sense of adventure, and your confidence to go out and do these things on your own. Good for you!!
Yay, you’re back! I really appreciate your videos. I’m also a mostly solo female hiker and I get a lot of flack for that. Your videos have inspired me to keep pushing myself into harder and harder things and to really utilize the weekends away from my 9-5 job exploring Colorado. Thanks for what you do!
I was so excited when I saw Salvage to Scenic's truck! I've been following him for a few weeks now and I was like, "I know that truck!!" Made me realise I had missed his video when he talks about this trip with you. Love watching your videos.
Utah has shocking beauty as you found out. First time i went to moab and bryce and zion i couldn't believe no on told me to go there sooner. Its mind melting. That sunrise you caught was epic. Glad you escaped the cold nasty winter into the warmer desert. Thanks for sharing your trip!
Excellent job on this video, you did a great job capturing the beauty of that area! Of course as you said, cameras don't ever do it justice, it's a must see in person kinda thing.
spent three years of my life living in southern Utah outside of capitol reef, most beautiful place in the world. one day ill move back and retire there. also if you continue down the factory butte road to the muddy creek and hike up a couple of miles you'll find the most beautiful hidden red rock canyon and you'll have it all to your self!
Thanks for sharing your awesome adventures Madison! We don't get to experience nature like that in the Netherlands haha. Will be traveling to BC for the first time this summer to roadtrip from Vancouver to Banff & back. Could not be more excited! Can't bring my dog though sadly... Kyro seems like the best boy.
Southern Utah is full of so many amazing places. I did a 3 day backpacking trip down Buckskin Gulch this past November and it was absolutely stunning. I'd say it's even better than doing The Subway (Top Down) at Zion.
I love how you explain things - you've got so much enthusiasm! Plus, your clips are fantastic - they're informative and totally brighten my day. Thank you so much!"
You remind me of the fun my wife and I had in Utah as college students. We would go camping almost every weekend just to see the state. Very enjoyable and so quiet at times.
Epic, I did a cross country road trip this past July and it fed my soul. I spent the night out on the salt flats there and the sunrise was so amazing. It was summer so it was very pleasant to walk in the night air under the moonlight. The salt was glowing. Your videos get me excited to go on more adventures
I can understand your excitement with those places in UT. I had the exact same feelings at many of those same places. The most incredible looking places I've ever been. Appreciate the walk down memory lane. And yeah, the lack of people out there is fantastic.
Such a great adventure. I personally keep my dog on a long leash 20ft. She can roam at will and I don't have to get terrified when I can't find her. Just love your commentary thanks for sharing this and all your thoughts 🥰
one of my fave YT'ers almost got pulled over the edge with her dog on leash... scared the crap out of her.. now her dog goes off leash... I'm sure you are careful... scary thought though
Thanks for taking me along. Great video. Yes Utah is a beautiful place to do what you do. We all thank the Lord for living in such a great place. Good luck on your next adventure! can't wait to see it.
Madison…..so wonderful to see you smiling and enjoying yourself. Southern Utah has so many great places to explore in the redrock country. I’m sure you will be back. Nice place to winter. Nice to see you got a truck and out of that Subaru. Wish I could travel with you, you are so sweet. Keep safe. Thanks for sharing.
I just found this channel, I did similar trip this January, you have inspired me to get back down there again, it's just so beautiful. You're amazing BTW, I am an instant fan
Hi Madison, just found your channel as have been following Jake. Love the way you articulate your journey. So now going to binge watch all your videos then wait patiently for the next one. Happy travels ❤
There are so many beautiful places in Utah including five national parks when you include one in Colorado that is a couple miles from Utah, I hope you got the opportunity to visit Mesa Verde and Arches national Park, two of my favorites
Glad you enjoyed the trip! As a Utah local I think we're extremely lucky to have world class mountains and one of a kind red rock within 5 hours of each other.
Awesome adventure and great scenery! Glad that Kiro and you got down that ladder safely. If you don't already have one, I would strongly recommend getting a high quality harness (with a handle) for Kiro. It makes all the difference for hikes with technical stuff. It makes it safer and easier to maneuver for both you and the dog. I have the Ruffwear webmaster, but Ruffwear has a few more options now. 👍
I went to Lake Powell with my bass boat for the first time during the pandemic. Spent 2 weeks there, then went back 2 more times and spent 2 weeks each time. Lake Powell is unbelievably beautiful. No place like it on earth can compare , ❤ yor video keep up the fun.
I absolutely love your videos! I used to keep all my camping gear in my car and go out whenever I could. I moved to Colorado recently and hope to get out more again like I used to. Your videos are informative and fun to watch! I caught a tummy bug/sickness from my niece and nephew today and have been stuck in bed... I had been having a hard time finding things to watch since I feel so sick... but then I found your videos, which are so beautiful, honest, peaceful, comforting, and calming! Thank you so much for taking the time to create this lovely content to share with all of us. Here's to safe and happy travels for you guys!
Welcome to Utah! I have lived here most of my life and take advantage of the outdoor diversity that we have. You only touched the surface of what Utah has to offer. On a side note, I took my 1st trip to BC last summer and I plan to go back this summer again.
I think it would be so cool if you put a mini GoPro on Kyra for one of these adventures to see what he finds when he goes exploring!

Such a great comment, thank you:) and so true
Loving the sheer joy of seeing someone gazing on those views for the first time.
Can't lie, I've cried at a few desert and canyon sunsets, there is just something so incredible about those landscapes and places.

Make sure to stop by the North rim of the Grand canyon. It's by far the best part of the whole park. Unvisited and beautiful
Agreed. I love the north rim, much better than the tourista south rim.
I’m watching this on my TV, and my dog is absolutely engaged. I think she’s your new #1 fan.
Your enthusiasm is awesome. Glad you are enjoying our Southwest.
I love your adventurous spirit Madison. It's contagious!
