    you will want to run this a few times. took about 5 times to get it dialed in perfectly on my fatbob.
    just keep loading the previous autotune when you pick the tune to modify. and i always used scale not cap.
    set it to autotune. run a full tank of gas in mixed riding conditions.flash and repeat till happy.

      So you mean just keep auto tuning the previous auto tune map? Also what is scale and cap difference? Thanks

      agree. i used this process because i felt like i didn't get enough information on the autotune session. i realized you can just keep the learned values and add on to them. pretty sick!

    One of my questions is when setting up (bike off, then key turning, are you powering down the tuner, and then will you have to start the process over after starting the bike

    This thing is great. But not quite understanding the scale and cap. One guy says scale. Another says don’t scale too much. I’ve done 2 autotune sessions and think it can be improved. But what do I do with scale and cap?

      @@danielpankey3853 oh for sure! Decel pop is pretty much non existent. It runs smoother. It purrs like a kitten. I highly recommend it. I and going to do a big bore kit with ported and polished and larger valves and 30deg reverse dome pistons and cams And the works through hammer Performance for about $2500. And this will allow me to do more tuning then the fp3 would have. So long story short I highly recommend it. And it’s easy to use as well.

    How long should I ride around?How much info does it hold?
    With the Harley tuner I used on my twin cam only had 10 minutes of information memory..
    Can I do more than one auto tune session.

    • @DynojetResearch
      @DynojetResearch  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      David, you want to fill in the GREEN log screen as much as you can. This may take 5 minutes or 20 minutes. Try to gather as much data as you can. After that session, apply the changes and do it again.

  • @evanwest1929
    @evanwest1929 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    So how long are you supposed to “ride like you normally would”? I imagine it has a limit to how much information it can capture in one session and I see people suggesting to repeat the auto tune a few times. I highly doubt sitting on a dyno is going to help tune it for heavy traffic conditions. Well all want max power but I also need smooth running in stop and go situations. Can this thing continuously learn all of that? I just have to auto tune repeatedly or what? How many miles or minutes of driving?

    • @DynojetResearch
      @DynojetResearch  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Autotune is constantly learning and making changes. The only limitation is how far it can tune from your base setting. Our default is +/- 20. So if your tune was way off and needed to adjust more than +/- 20 then you do need to ACCEPT TRIMS so it can continue to learn. There is not an amount of time that it needs to learn. Keep in mind that if the area of 8000 RPM at 80% throttle needs tuning and you never hit this spot then obviously it will never learn this area. So the more you can ride in this area the better.
      We do NOT recommend allowing the kit to tune below 10% throttle unless you are absolutely sure you have a good reading and are not getting reversion thru the exhaust.
      On our bikes, the AutoTune is always connected and learning. In one instance, after we got a good base tune, we did lower the allowed learning range to +/- 8.

    Hi, the copy of original tune of the bike is somethign that the module is doing by itself, like an automatic backup? then, if you whant to do the autotune with the "copy of original tune" all the changes seems to be saved as a new cosutum tune, leaving the "copy of original one" as it was, am i right?

  • @Guns-N-Baggers
    @Guns-N-Baggers 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

    If you want to run autotune more than once after your first run and you export it and save.Do you disable autotune then re enable it and select the map you just autotune.I have heard 2 different things on that part?

  • @JOHNPHUFNAGEL
    @JOHNPHUFNAGEL 9 ปีที่แล้ว

    so after you do this tune the auto tune is not needed to be connected? I was under the impression that it continually monitored the O2 and made changes all the time.So if I went to different places around the world I would have to program the power commander every time correct?

  • @michaelmcmorrow7554
    @michaelmcmorrow7554 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    In this video you selected to use auto tune with "Copy of Original tune". If you do it this way, does it over write or affect the original tune in any way? In the event that I wanted to revert back to the original tune for any reason, I wouldn't want to change it. Thank you.

    Still cannot find the answer to... whether or not I can install wide band O2 sensors in my 2002 Road King Screamin Eagle and if so, where do the wires from the O2 sensors plug into the ECM? Do I need a later model ECM that supported O2 sensors on a 2007 bike? Or is there some other way to connect O2 sensors to a 2002 ECM? So far, I have a Power Vision that does NOTHING for my bike. Auto Tune, the very reason I bought the Power Vision does not work without wide band O2 sensors, something that did not come on 2002 Harleys. If I cannot find a solution in 10 days, I will post a video of me shooting the Power Vision with an AR-15. Bet that will go viral.

      @@Dipndots87-ms6ds It was advertised as a tuner, nowhere in the advertising did it say it required other parts. Not everyone is a mechanic. I did not BASH the product, I simply STATED A FACT IN MY POST. IT DOES NOT WORK WITHOUT O2 SENSORS. Because it is restricted to whatever bike you set it up for, I AM STUCK WITH IT. I USE IT AS A TEMP AND use a TUNE that was input during the $600 Dyna Tune. I WILL BASH THE ADVERTISING THAT DID NOT MENTION THE O2 SENSORS THOUGH. If that bothers you, avoid the video.

      It really is. I gave up. I took my bike to Main Street Moto/Las Vegas Dyno Tech and paid them $600 to do a physical DYNO TUNE on my bike, then they entered the MAP into the Power Vision in case my bike lost the tune, I could just reenter it into the Power Vision and FLASH the ECM again. Very, VERY disappointed that I am in Vegas, the people that created the DynoJET Power Vision are located in Vegas and they refused to make my $450 Handlebar Ornament work. I had to take it to another shop in Vegas to get my bike tuned. Not all of us understand how to configure this technology, I am not a bike mechanic. Oh yeah... forgot to mention, nearly every ride, somewhere during the ride the Power Vision just drops all of the numbers. Just ZEROS OUT! I have to pull over, restart the motorcycle and wait for the Power Vision to refresh the numbers again. PITA!DynaTunDynaTun
