Just came across your video man, didn't know about the hill thing. Ran 2 auto tune sessions this morning (town and hwy)... I just stacked them on eachother.... from Fort Smith AR myself
This is almost the best explanation about the autone, thank you sir. I was wondering if you have modified anything on the QUICK TUNE as well as the THROTTLE RESPONSE response settings to get a more responsive throttle action like the newer bikes' sport or track mode behavior. Thank you again and all the very best.
Throttle “smoothing” is off. If I hit a pothole and blip the throttle, the bike reacts. Whereas before it did not. I believe the PV does that without asking.
The way I understand it… NB O2’s are excellent in a narrow range (15.0-14.2 afrs?). When you are building a new map you must select narrow or wide. This tells the Dynojet how much lying (to the ecm) it must do. The ecm can maintain the same afr even at higher elevations. So if you lie to the ecm about the elevation you can maintain the perception of a higher afr. Tell the ecm the air is less dense and it will add fuel. But, it will not be as accurate as a set of WB O2’s. Close, but not dead on.
I had to grin when you said that 6K on the tach was most likely not on the plate. I'm old, and still ride my Street Glide pretty hard. Yah, it's stupid, but I sometimes have the illusion of being 8' tall & Stainless Steel like I thought as a kid doing the same Damn thing.............

@@LSHD254 Exactly. It’ll leave the tune in the old bike and move the PV to the new one. Unless they changed it, fuelpack requires you to purchase a new device for every bike.
Aim for 20 rpm at a time. 1500, count to 3. 1520 count to 3. 1540… If you hold the throttle still you can see the block change color. Are you using the hill method? If you’re on the flat, some of those blocks will be near impossible to fill in.
@@jahd3 use your gear to put you in the rev range you want to be in. 30 mph in 1st gear is different than 30mph in 3rd or 4th. I tried to lug it down in 5th and rev it out in 2nd.
Frick Yeah!! Thanks for the sub, and the comment! I’d like to keep the channel on a personal level as long as I can keep up with it. 👊😎 Also, nice bike!
I enjoyed your video. You where able to fill in a lot of zones..
Having a long steepish hill really helps. Thanks for the feedback and your time.

Thanks for stopping by. Hopefully something I said was helpful.
Thank you for the video. i was thinking how does it work..
Great job explaining this very informative. Ride safe!!
I learned a lesson in lighting and story telling on this one.
Very informative, Thank you for sharing.

@@JaySorsby1 thank you, I wonder if mine is also off or not. What I understand is that you did not modify throttle response table.
It’s an easy check and an easy fix with the PV.
I just did pv with tt2. Road it with just the downloaded tune so far, what a difference. Can't wait to start the target tune and see what happens.
Target tune is on my list. It’s a long list.
@@JaySorsby1 2010 electra glide, I spoil the bike more than I spoil the wife 🤣🤣
Thanks for the help.👍
Great video...very informative. Just curious: How accurate/good can the auto tune be if the bike has narrow band O2 sensors?

Young me would laugh at me now, but young me would also ask for $20.
Very informative…
Thanks! Hopefully I helped you in some way.
Thanks for the demo.
How can yon kill only the engine and leave the ignition on when your bike is keyless and only has an on/off switch?
Freakin good ass question! I will find out. You have me curious now.
What year is your bike?

sounds easy enought i was trying to decide between the power vision and the fuel pak 4 i think im gonna go with power vision
I like the dedicated screen and the ability to purchase a new license down the road.
@@JaySorsby1 in the event you change bikes?

I thought the same thing.
Hey man, is this a 2007 or later model and have you had to buy the Auto Tune pro kit?
2010, no target tune.
Im having trouble filling the “hits” are you slowly rolling the throttle in each gear?

@@jahd3 Now I know what I’m filming this weekend. I’ll do a part 2 and see if I can answer some of your questions.
What mount are you using?
TechMount bar clamp and stem. The back plate is Amazon with AMPS bolt pattern.
Do you need o2 sensors for this tuner?
Yes. It uses the O2 sensors to measure the AFRs and make adjustments to the fuel tables.
Subbed
