So is it OK to do yoga during wrestling season and how many times a week. Also should I take my 18 year old he wrestler to a yoga class, biyba DVD or just you tube videos? Sorry for the stupid question. Lol I would rather to be free but don't know if going to an actual yoga class will be better for him??
Yoga is actually really good for wrestling. During wrestling you’re put in all sorts of positions and wrestling is really strenuous on the body. So making sure you take care of your body and stretching it is very important. TH-cam videos would be fine so I wouldn’t say the classes are really worth the money.
Hey, thanks for the comment! Yes, you should try to do at least a 10-15 min mobility flow after (or also before)ever training session. In-person will be best, so form isn’t lacking. But if you’re confident with it, you can easily get by with just TH-cam 🙏🏼 But doing yoga while your warm after practice is GOLDEN for flexibility building
