One thing I never see anyone talk about is when Paracelsus closes his phone call and the camera shifts focus onto the table in front of him, the two books are in fact the original publication covers of The Adventures of Pinnochio, and The Wizard of Oz. Pinnochio's being the green cover with gold border. The second underneath, Oz, with the Cowardly lion on the cover. You can just see his back paw in the shot, exactly as it is on the book's cover.
Goddamn Lies of P content is cooking.. and with that we need a Video about the best Character in the game.. Romeo, the King of Puppets.. and all the puppets
There was one time I was trying to get a better look at this character and I kid you not, he looked right into the camera and stared right at me. I got literal chills and ran out so fast. If that's the kind of mystifying yet terrifying energy they want this for this character, then they certainly succeeded!
@@789syrus789 Good luck! It was probably just luck with my camera angle and his natural idle animation, but it still chills me to the bone thinking about it lmao
Excellent ambience in your videos and very informative. Hopefully we can see one for Laxasia as well (provided there's enough background information/lore).
Appreciate it and the suggestion! I'm not certain she has enough information to warrant a full video but certainly an interesting character to include in discussion
Dude... You again... It's just... WOW!! I absolutely love Lies of P! One of my fav soulslike outside FS for sure! This is gold, as I didn't understand much of the story. Going to devour these videos now. Thanks again!!
good video, but I must shed a tear for the Middle Ages slander. Historians have tried their best in recent years to rehabilitate the reputation of the Middle-Ages, which contrary to popular belief were less oppressive and obscurantist than the so beloved renaissance, where witch hunts and all sorts of colonial cruelty were committed.
None of us were actually present back in the day and we can only take the word of "experts" for it. If experts for whatever reason want us to believe a certain version of history, they can lie and fabricate evidences and we wouldn't know. What we can rely on however is that the victor writes the history books (or pays the scientists).
-...and so, humanity entered the age of Reneissance, where the light of knowledge and reason triumphed over the darkness of fear and superstition, that ruled over the Middle Ages -Cool, so what happened in that Reneissance? -Mostly various genocides
amazing video, narration and voice! it would be interesting to follow / analyze which characters use their left / right hand, considering in magic / Hermeticism and others the left hand is the " evil " and the right hand is the " good " ( representations ) Geppeto s left hand that he uses to control the Nameless puppet for example the main character ( we ) fights with his right hand, but his left is an artificial one devoted to technological progress ( science and religion are opposing forces from certain religions perspective ) when Simon Manus connects to god ( or whatever that between the first and second phase of the boss battle ) both hands used are left ( if this is representation of Michelangelo's famous painting ) i cannot wait to watch other videos of Yours! Great work! Subscribed !
Thank you so much for the support! That's really interesting insight. I think this game has much deeper symbolism and richer worldbuilding than most gave credit
You guys should really discuss the lore around the Listeners, Sophia, and her mother and how they play into things like the Gold Coin Fruit trees and the Cure the alchemists made in their experiments
You explain the lore so succinctly, it's amazing!! I hope the dlc or a sequel comes out soon! I need more content! They could name the sequel The Path of D for Dorothy! 😂
It would be interesting if Parcelsus was a humonculus of Romeo or Carlo given lies of P many Fullmetal Alchemist References and also a new take on Peter Pan or the mad hater

This was absolutely fantastic. I love the implications for the future of Lies of P. We seriously need some news on where things are going.

Both of those time periods were absolutely awful, but yeah a lot of people underestimate how bad the renaissance Was..
@@deliriushunterBoth still beat the shit out of Antiquity in terms of how much it sucked to be alive

ParacelSUS!
Not seen a single person talk about how the saint Marie statue is identical to the true ending when Sophia holds you.
You guys should really discuss the lore around the Listeners, Sophia, and her mother and how they play into things like the Gold Coin Fruit trees and the Cure the alchemists made in their experiments
Great suggestion, the Gold Coin trees, listeners and nature of Ergo are very fascinating topics
Had to comment in the middle of the video, you have great narration skills and a good voice for the content you make, subbed
Been super excited for this.
When I finished the game, I really thought that was the real title lol!

your videos are really good! you deserve more views!
The story of like a dragon 7 and 8, that would be a interesting story to deep dive into.
It would be interesting if Parcelsus was a humonculus of Romeo or Carlo given lies of P many Fullmetal Alchemist References and also a new take on Peter Pan or the mad hater
P also grows a little taller when he changes
would love a lore dive into xenoblade chronicles series
Thank you! I have been saying this since I beat the game. You're thr first person other than me who knows lies of p is NOT puppet or pinnocchio💚
Cool video still doesn’t explain why he moans every line when you talk to him.
farty mc fart fart?
Ah yes, Goethe entered the building.
