Fairy Tales that exist in-universe (such as the Adventures of Pinocchio and Wizard of Oz) yet somehow those Fairy Tales are becoming real yet are altered and “darkened” when they come into reality as well as how Ergo and wishes may play into it sounds like an interesting topic to discuss
@@TheLorebrarians some videos have brought to light some of the references such as how Victor is a reference to Frankenstein’s monster both in terms of design as well as his name being similar to the scientist “Victor Frankenstein” of the story. Beauty and The Beast is also referenced through the character Belle, and her partner who becomes a Carcuss Monster. Then there’s the obvious Wizard of Oz reference with Dorothy with some people theorizing that Pinocchio will play the role of the TinMan due to gaining silver hair and essentially being a robot that gains a human heart which adds a twist to this whole “Fairy Tales become real” idea as it means that characters can represent multiple characters and figures from multiple Fairy Tales at the same time, allowing these Fairy Tales to essentially crisscross and merge. And considering how big of a deal the Adventures of Pinocchio are to Krat via dialogue from Gemini, it makes this idea that the more popular an idea or belief in one such as a Fairy Tail, the more likely it is to become real due to things like Ergo and the meteorites used for wishstones and other stuff coming into the mix.
Thank you so much for making games more interesting by your storytelling. The way you narrate the stories and the way you use the words are remarkable. Videos like this deserve millions of views. Thanks again and keep up the good work.
I'm sure it's been posited before, but while it can be inferred that the P stands for 'Pinocchio' it could stand for 'Philosopher'. So you have the Lies of Philosophers and the Philosopher's Organ which could be similar to the Philosopher's Stone idea. Or it could stand for Paracelsus since he was a first among the Alchemists. 😎🍻😎
Ergo Could be a reference to the phrase "cogito ergo sum" ("I think, therefore I am"), reflecting the Alchemists' search for apotheosis via knowledge, and P's jouney towards humanity via self-discovery and independent thought. Could also be another word for quintessence, an irl alchemical idea of theoretical "divine element". Aside from the obvious similarities in its qualities, there is also the ethymological aspect: Quintessence in its modern understanding means the purest, most basic essence of something. The phrase "ergo" is sometimes used to wrap up a lecture and move on to summarizing it, aka. listing off the most essential parts of presented ideas. Therefore (or, ergo xD), in their own ways both words symbolize the purest essence of things I'm sorry if there are mistakes in my wording or gramar. English is not my first language
What character or topic in Lies of P do you want to explore next?

Geppetto. Thank you
About time someone made a serious analysis on this. Please, analyse the whole Carcass mutations and evolutions!
Glad you enjoyed, appreciate the suggestion!

Yes, as more content comes out it will be interesting to see how the different fairytales will connect. Ergo is definitely a topic that fascinates

The Lies of P turned out to have quite a great deal of deep lore, I was extremely pleased with it.
This games lore is peak! Simon Manus was CRIMINALLY underused, but he is a very interesting character!
Agreed they did him dirty with his lack of sceen time and horrible boss design. He could have looked so awesome.
