The fault code is here to give an indication where to start .I really appreciate and happy to see people like you to take your time to digging into it to find the faulty part .Great example and great video and explanation as well. Thanks for your time and effort to produce nice and helpful video. 👍 😊
This is an excellent job you've done and I wish you would be located in Germany because I would not hesitate to bring my car to you. You are probaly one of the last real mechanics. Our Caddy is now nearly 3 weeks in VAG garage, due to the same complaint. They have now changed the LP Tank Pump, Pressure Sensor and Pressure Regulator and telling us now that its probably the High Pressure Pump which they are going to change know. The costs are until this point at nearly 3000€, what a desaster. I hope pump changing will fix the problem, otherwise I think about to contact an ADAC Lawyer and VAG Germany to complain this issue.
Nice educational video. And you’re absolutely right about taking your vehicle to someone you can trust. This is not a criticism to your advice, but my opinion that will not get you anywhere. At least 90% of mechanics who have been self employed for a while, have the wrong mentality and don’t realise that they are no longer dealing with basic things like plugs and points. The problem is, mechanics fail to update themselves and totally believe in what the scanner it telling them, or at least hope that the scanner is right. Anyway, I could go on and on. I really admire you for investing in yourself, both in terms of equipment and knowledge. Keep up the brilliant work. Best regards, Joe.

Great video, nice equipment! Shame the owner didn’t come to you to start with, massive saving of time and money if he had. I’ve changed hundreds of those injectors on CAYC (car) and CAYD (commercial) engines. By using a previously enjoyed part you just spin the wheel and hope. I bet his mate didn’t replace the torque to yield bolt (they will snap and pop a dent in the bonnet when they let go if reused) or replace the adjacent injector (cyl 1) copper base seal, O ring seal and spill union seal, the spring clip retaining the spill union need replacing too after it was disturbed when removing the faulty injector cyl 2. (New seals and clip come with new genuine injector) Bet no sign of the bore cleaning tool to make the ports spotless for refitting to prevent leakage or coding in to the engine ecu for changed injectors 🤣. He prob allowed diesel to get on the cambelt during the repair which will kill it in no time. The resistance goes high causing the initial misfire, but with your one leaking back like that, I’ve only seen two fail like that.
