The Jaguar I Pace has a known issue with AC system. The HP & LP pipes that are connected to the compressor fail. To replace this the front Drive Motor requires removal. This is a 12-15hr job and not covered by Jaguar Warranty if the car is older than 3yrs. We can perform this repair for you.

Hello guys 🙋♂️ Does anyone know how to replace haldex AWD wires (cable which is pluged on Halfex Control Unit). My old one is broken. In the meantime, I bought a new one, but I’m not sure where it connects in the upper part. If you have any advice or a video tutorial, I would really appreciate it. Tnx
Hey question, is the pre charging comtactors in the bms module or the two contactors at the end?
If you used an omhs meter, without injecting 500v won't it read ? Because the hv insulation test is just checking between chassis and the positive of the HV battery
@@phareztrinimand an ohm Meyer does not test it under load, hence the insulation tester
@intelligentauto737 ok thank you, is the pre charge relay in the BMS or it's by the main contractors, Benz doesn't have any hybrid batteries in stock, and I am getting a pre charge open circuit fault
Congratulations on all the awards very well deserved So when a vehicle comes in and you find many fault codes after a diagnostic scan how do you know which one to tackle first ?
I've been in to VAG batteries, Nissan, PSA and MG (catl). I disagree with your findings. They are superbly built, and I hope you are aware that you can try to shove your finger in there and if you manage to touch that busbar with very slender fingers, nothing will happen. You'd then have to manage to stick another finger somewhere near the other end of the chain of modules in order to get a shock. I mean really you'd need to make a significant effort. But wear gloves by all means. Oh and to say its similar to the Leaf battery is just bonkers, they couldn't be more different.

I have an intermittent fault on my ABS, sometimes on sometimes off for no reason, brakes work fine ! Garage has changed the sensor twice, part of the loom and the wheel bearing . At wits end !! Already £1000 ! Wondering if it’s something like this 🙄 ?

Where do I find the PVC valve on this model?
Differential pressure in voltage is pretty useless. Could do with it in hpa and measure with a pressure sensor as well. I always thought these used a vapouriser so didn't contaminate the oil! Although i wonder if excessive blow by can happen with the higher back pressure and it takes that into account! Im not sure. Fan, oil, measure back pressure, check airmass meter. Etc. Id clear the codes and see what comes back on after someone's been fuckin with it. Gret video mate.
We would just do as the customer requested and document it all , charge for that and they would be a signed authorisation explaining it all beforehand , we had to do all that because of your type of customer , the crap they would come out with was laughable at times.

I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.. sounds like the next you'll be getting threatening letters because you didn't "fix" the fault... And people seem to think scam tools tell you exactly the item at fault.... Glad I'm out the game (master tech for over 15 years)

A regular oil and filter would’ve probably saved this then?
It wont be oil related as ford use a vapouriser circumnavigating the dumping of fuel in the sump. You will get a code for service needed but those codes its a vapoiriser

That's not strictly true. They use a lot of post injection (which usually finds it's way into the sump)..

Currently running mobile car diagnostics buisness i get this all the time,ring me up with list of codes asking me what they mean i advise them they need a proper diagnostic test and report quote them a price to be told they have already had one,its like peeing in the wind,dont get me started on the fuse fairy.
Comment as I watch. 03:10. It ain’t going to regen the DPF when the oil is marked as deteriorated so cleaning the DPF will only be a short term fix. Fan fault, not sure…..depends on Ford’s strategy
Its a faulty vapouriser the oil has nothing to do with regens
@@chucky2316some cars will not regen if the oil has deteriorated.
Ford's s-max also have wiring deteriorating (pink wiring) for the fan control so it won't kick in
@@chucky2316blocked vaporizer usually triggers dpf regen duration fault code on them meaning regen takes too much time and pcm just quits trying to regen. Overall I agree 9 times out of 10 it's blocked vaporizer
Oil dilution will stop the regeneration process to prevent engine runaway although on a vaporising model the oil dilution counter is usually down to the service schedule not being reset by old school mechanics not understanding the DPF system or owners doing their own servicing and multiple attempted regenerations by the cars ECU working the oil too hard, shortening the mileage and time to the next oil service.
Looks like somebody threw the baby out with the bath water! Cheap service + £160 + diag + repair. Unfortunately some people are only interested in price. There’s a lesson there somewhere!

Great lesson, I recently changed an EGR temperature sensor on a MK8 2.2 transit , due to a high resistance value. The replacement sensor was 215 Ohms at ambient temperature. Is there a universal resistance value, that you set the decade box to as a starting point, when testing temperature sensor circuits?
@@gjt2209 no, it depends on the resistance range of the sensor plus there’s two types of sensors, NTC & PTC

It's a complete disgrace the direction motor manufacturers have taken. On the lie of progress is the opposite. .serving my apprenticeship in the early 80s I remember when a screwdriver and pair pliers and plug key and wire brush would be all you reed for a breakdown......ford and vauxhall..shtshow

had 2 of the Renaults in the past few weeks to pull the injectors out of . one took 20 ton to pull out

Basiic fault finding that so often is forgotten
Removing a factory fitted dpf from a vehicle will eventually destroy it.
Not if it’s done properly? The problem is the majority aren’t. I don’t condone it for vehicles used on the public highway BTW. But to say it will destroy it is not correct.
It could also be said that the manufacturers fitting dpf technology and tampering with the settings to make it look like its doing its job properly is bigger problem. Also removing a dpf from an engine will not destroy the engine. The dpf and its wiring is proven gimmick to extract money from people.
