      @@aprildullas2407 sure. I think She said she was detrained so it was muscle memory. If ur a noob u can also see great results. Protein supp isn’t necessary unless ur getting less than 0.8 g/ lb protein through diet.

    • @amenRAamen
      @amenRAamen 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thing is, in six weeks you can't grow a lot of muscle, so to say it's lean mass in the glutes, I am not sure. For a trained female 250 gr pure lean mass per month is the average. But when muscles get toned and the influx of water into the muscle as an inflammation respons... It gives the impression you've gained muscle, but which isn't the case, or not as much as you think (not a kilo in 6 weeks lol). Physiology just doesn't allow that, in trained females...

    • @amenRAamen
      @amenRAamen 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@DrTopLiftDPTA lot of research done to come to the conclusion that you better stay between 1.5 and 2gr of protein per pound. The issue in people who aim for that "low" (0.8gr) amount of protein is that they simply do not reach that leucine threshold etc. Which is necessary to trigger protein synthesis :). For they are probably eating servings of only 20gr of protein per meal or so, which according to science, isn't ideal. Dr. Gabrielle Leyton has some great references about this. Better eat 50gr of protein three times a day than 20gr 5 times a day. (As a sidenote)

    Hi.. I just came across one of your videos on nutrition. You pointed out many things I think are important to know while on a fitness journey. The question I have however is based in increasing the weight every few days or weekly. I am currently trying to workout at home because it worked with my weight loss goals in the past. Now I would like to gain weight in a healthy way and at home. The diet part is not a problem but the equipment part is. Highest weight of dumbbell is 5kg. I have resistance bands as well. Now the question is can I build muscle and get my gains by using only this equipment by increasing the reps and/sets instead? As someone struggling with consistency your detailed explanations help with overcoming the excuses that come with the struggle. Thank you for your videos ❤️

    • @ariessinq2290

      Hi just stopping by here because I was reading your comment! So generally I think both lifting light and increasing the reps is just as effective as lifting heavy with fewer reps. I’ve seen multiple trainers say that if you can’t increase the weight then increase the reps!! However I would say that lifting heavy with fewer reps and increasing the weight does grow your Glutes faster since the muscles get fatigued a lot quicker.

    I’m not convinced. If this is all just from lifting at the gym then fair play. BUT, for someone who has been doing these exercises for so long, your leg muscles are small in comparison. I don’t see much quad/hamstring development - something that cannot be avoided when seriously working out.
    Also, with all of this high fat foods and carbs you consume how is your stomach so flat? Not even slight bloating? I’m not sure I believe the diet you push.

      Unfortunately it sounds like you “can’t” do the one thing that is the biggest factor in how your body looks. I’m sure you’ve heard the saying “you can’t out train a bad diet”. Younger bodies can generally get away with being more lenient on these things, it’s been 13 years. At the very least you should track your protein, that’s the building block of muscle. Without an adequate amount, you’re not going to build.

      Thats wrong. I train glutes 2 times a week and i grow ;) i think you read wrong. I do 10.000 /15.000 steps a day. Train 2 days glute heavy. And 2 days upperbody.
      And i grow. ;) 😋❤️

      It is possible. I grew 2 inches within 2 months of glutes training, but you gotta remember that nutrients is 70% of your result. Eating enough protein is vital for glutes grow

    Hi Chiara! While doing hip thrusts I always thought I had to lower my bum closer to the floor for full range of motion? I’m currently stuck at 100kg, can’t seem to up it! I thought that the shorter range of motion was a glute bridge? Any help would be appreciated! Trying to up my weight and grow 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

      True. Hip thrust demands full range of motion.

      KAS glute bridge is like a hip thurst but only half way down to help with the glute growth as well

      Focus more on lighter weight and doing 2 second holds at full hip extension. I guarantee u if u work with lighter or moderate weight but hold for 2 secs every hip extension u will hit a new PR and up the weights on your hip thrusts always works for me. And with full depth

    Can you do a comparison without the booty lifting leggings just for natural reference? Also, this is kind of upsetting for me because I have been working my ass off for 5 weeks straight and have had zero growth. Maybe a little lift, but nothing more.
