i recently jus took squats, deadlifts, n lunges out my workouts cuz im trying to grow my glutes more than my quads, & ive been doing lots of cable glute workouts but i was confused how do i grow muscle if i cant lift super heavy but what u said at the end makes perfect sense🎉 thank u for all the free advice u put out u are a life saverrrr😭🫶🏼✨

@@littlep420 so keep them in the routine! Squats, rdls, hip thrusts, Bulgarian split squats, step ups, kick backs are all you need ❤️
@@fruitflyhunter i watched a video bret the glute guy made & he talks abt how those are great glute exercises but they also hammer the quads or hamstrings alot 😭 & my goal has always been to jus have big glutes , i may add all those workouts back but im jus playing with some trial n error right now on my fitness journey🥰
@@fruitflyhunter ok came back to update but i ended up adding all those workouts back in cuz i noticed my booty gains going down with doing *only* glutes🥲 it was only two weeks too but it was a nice short lived experiment😭

Hello Chiara I love how you explain your workouts, I have a question, how many times a week should one train there glutes? I don’t know if I’ve been doing it right I’ve been doing 3 times a week.
It all depends on how much you can handle personally. If you feel recovered to train them again then you can do that. Some people can do 2 and some
People can do 3. It highly depends how hard your training (intensity) too. No one can answer this question other than your self hope it helps :)
Look up Dr. Mike Israetel’s volume chart. He breaks down what the minimum reps per week needed are, as well as the maximum amount to where you risk overtraining.
I also hate setting up hips thrusts with too much weight it’s so annoying and time consuming

At 62, I’m starting to use progressive resistance again with great results. Always use a training log and you will keep on seeing results.
