How to Fix Logitech Webcam Settings not Saving & Resetting using OBS (Fast Method!)

Do you want to know how to KEEP your Logitech Webcam settings from resetting and not saving when you restart your computer using streamlabs obs. This will work with Logitech cameras, c920 c922 c930. So when you saving your settings on the system level for your web camera and you restart your computer, the settings may not save so download a software called Logitech g hub, this will allow you to save the settings in the g hub software. This will override your PC settings and save the web cam settings.

Ahh the "legendary" C920 webcam settings issue... I've tried almost every google fix out there, almost all don't seem to work. I think this one works OK but can this work for multiple webcams? I have 6 webcams all running at once, so the only way I can adjust the settings is by using the default window cam drivers. I've tried the WebcamCameraSettings cfg fix, where it saves your settings in OBS, to a .cfg file, but that still leaves the LowLightCompensation box ticked, and it is somewhat erratic.

When I change the settings in my g hub software it still doesn't save, everytime I just close the app and turn it on again it just resets, I did everything just like in the video, still doesn't work

I Have a problem when I Try to open Logitech Camera Setting software to enable camera settings for the c930e Webcam, I Followed these steps and still got the same error message. *_LoadLibrary failed with error 87: The parameter is incorrect_*

I tried re-opening mt Logitech C 920 webcam, after following these steps, no change. I still keep snapshots of the OBS webcam settings for the C920.
The webcam settings DO save for XSplit broadcaster, but my Windows OS is too slow during chromakey recordings, with 3-second delays.

Does using this software cause the horrible video delay that Logitech Capture causes? I am having this issue with the settings getting defaulted because I stopped using LC. Don't want to solve this issue by bringing back the old issue.

it's the backlight compensation in OBS Studio that keeps turning on for me - and it resets mid-stream when i alt-tab sometimes too. GHUB doesn't fix that :(

it doesn't retain the settings at all. not even restarting the PC but closing the app and launching another camera app for instance. can't see my face at all because the default exposure settings are wrong. edit: got it working with some persistance. keep trying restarts. I got it working with g hub rather than the other larger app. someone said change usb ports but that didn't work, not sure what specifically solved it but just a bunch of things.

I just hit a problem with my HD920 webcam in the past couple of days: it would literally reboot my Windows 10 pc. Installing G-Hub didn't fix it - uninstalling the previous Logitech Gaming Software does. So thank you - I wouldn't have gotten onto this path without your video 👍 However ... I notice that if I have my Skype Video Settings open and then try to open Logitech G-Hub ... it tells me that the device is not available - possibly because some other software is already using it. So it would seem that maybe we've hit a Windows limitation?
Either way, both the G-Hub software and the Webcam Settings from Skype have absolutely NO effect on the camera, which is a bit of a disappointment. Ho hum ... at least it's working again ... for now ...

Indeed - from way back I had "Logitech Gaming" a predecessor to Logitech G-Hub, and apparently that older software which never got upgraded once the new webcam was installed, just didn't do a thing on persistence so every wake from sleep & reload of OBS reset the zoom/pan/tilt settings for the camera. Ugh. Removing the old "gaming" and installing "g hub" seems to fix it. Time will tell.

yes, you pick the camera you want to work with and it will save the settings for the respective one

Even this, the closest logitech has ever come to retaining webcam settings within a single session, much less a re-boot, is unreliable. Anyone who follows this tutorial may get some time with not having issues, but eventually you will have to open this up every time you need to use your camera, and change the settings.

This is great but my issue is obs has more camera settings. Primary no gain adjustment in ghub makes it useless for me when I dial my exposure back. Anyone know how to adjust gain in ghub?

Exactly, the problem with the G Hub is that, despite having more options than Logi Capture, it is not possible to balance exposure and gain. I think the solution is to create a Macro and run it when opening OBS.
