When ever I change the settings on my stream cam in obs the next time I launch it the settings for the video quality revert back to default. How do I make them permanent
If you have a green screen you could add a blurred image of your room behind you, obviously wouldn't work for moving screens that you have behind you, another great instructional video sir
The NVIDIA Broadcast will blur your screen, take it all out or gives you the option of adding a gif as a background which i love to do while streaming. Good stuff
@@P1xelPerfect I bought the Brio 4K and have been super frustrated because it looked so bad. Always a lot of noise. I’m so excited to stream/record with these techniques now! Gonna try the blur since I’m playing off my switch right now. Hoping my CPU can handle it.
@@bonsaiwillow good luck! If you have an RTX graphics card you can also use NVIDIAs blur feature as well. It is pretty taxing on GPUs so keep that in mind! I really want to try elgatos new facecam that does 4k60 but it’s $300 🫠

Great job again, Danny. I was messing around with that stuff a few weeks ago. I went so far as to use Apply LUT filter as well. That simple include "original" LUT file did a lot to balance the look. Then I tweak the Color correction get something acceptable. Now I need to get some cooler lights. Right now I have daylight bulbs (6500k, I believe) that make everything a bit too white. I'm looking into some HUE bulbs that could give me more flexibility in lighting setups.

Question: as of Aug '22, which Logitech software would you recommend to adjust the settings of a Logitech BRIO? Logitech offers quite a few tools (Logitech camera settings, G-Hub, Log Tune) and even from within OBS I can access a quite simple settings popup window. Which of these options would you prefer to finetune and save the settings?
I would say if you are using any other logi components like a mouse or headphones/keyboard etc then do G hub. It will be easier to keep it all in one place. But if you are using just the brio then the cam settings app should be fine. Realistically you just want to be able control all of the main settings like highlights/exposure/saturation/contrast etc
Thanks! It does not, this software is the c920 only and tbh its pretty dated at this point. Id recommend going to Logis site and seeing what their newest version is! Brio has more versatile options.
So my webcam looks like yours when it's on auto exposure. I set it to manual and it's already a lot darker, but it's fine, however it's at like 1fps. I set it ANY lower than that and the fps goes back to normal, but its PITCH dark, even though I have natural lighting from a window, a keylight on 100%, a point light, two flood lights and RGB around my room. Messing around with the other settings just makes it look progressively more black and white. idk what to do. Edit: Gain isn't an option btw
I use Nvidia Broadcast with gif background, use OBS, play and stream Dead By Daylight on Twitch all on a single PC + dual monitors with no issues: i5-13400f, RTX 3060, 16gb RAM, Windows 11.
Hello P1xel! I did all the installation as you mentioned, I downloaded the software from the discord but when I go to the camera configuration, the default configuration of the obs appears and not the one that appears in your video. I have a C922 camera, even so with that default setting of the obs I tried to do something similar to what you show in the video. All the best!
Hmm I installed the software from the discord. Restarted my PC but when I now click in "configure video" in the properties it still shows the default settings from OBS and not the Logitech Software that it shows for you. Not sure what I could have done wrong.
Besides it being an older, legacy software, I find it to be a bit more powerful and accurate. Granted I also havent seen G Hub in a long time bc I dont use the c920. BUT, the knowledge transfers regardless haha

That alone would make the legacy version significantly better than G Hub. Great video for people getting into streaming, I bet a lot of people go down the LUT filter rabbit hole after watching your video and gaining confidence.

Hi, your videos are excelent you have a new follower EVERYWERE. I have one question. I use 2 profiles on OBS (TH-cam and Twitch) and some panels that i use exclusively for Twitch don't hide or dissapear anymore when i switch to TH-cam (Predicions, Twitch activity and Quick actions) all the other ones hide themselves. Do you know what might be the problem?
In NVIDIA Broadcast, why didn't you choose the source of Logicapture instead of the Pro Webcam? When you activate it back in OBS, and choose NVIDIA as the source, doesn't that source need to have Logicapture moving through it in Invidia also?

Be careful with messing with your gamma setting in OBS. In my case, it was causing device input lag.

I noticed that after configuring, every day when i restart my pc, the settings have reverted back to default, really annoying
Yea sadly this will happen regardless. You just need to remember your settings for when it does revert

Nope! Just use your cams appropriate software and then apply the knowledge learned.
