I've been trying to use the C920 for over a year, it's an absolute disaster. Even with the best lighting my pic looks like a bad .bmp. (You have to be of a certain age to recall those) The settings don't improve things. Would alternative software help? I'm using an Intel VHD 730, which I'm told is appropriate for it. I've now ordered a cam from another manufacturer. Is it just me, or is Logi living on its very prior reputation???

I'm at a loss. I lost my hard drive and the G Hub I downloaded now doesn't have any way to make a video and says it's not in use by any app. G Hub says it's up to date. All the instructional videos are old. I don't know what to do and have already whiffed on a homework assignment because I didn't know I had a problem.
Thanks for the info. I was hoping I could mirror my image in this software but I can't see a setting for a flip. I use my C920 for Powerpoint presentations with my image bottom right, and I am looking the wrong way when I read something from the screen. Any ideas to fix this?

I cannot find any of the same pictures you are displaying in the settings. i.e. In device manager there is no picture of the Logitech C920 to right click on. I have updated driver but when I go to settings it still says I am using a generic driver.
For some reason, the zoom control in G Hub doesn't update the display. I can move the slider, but the preview image doesn't change. Similarly, clicking the pan arrows doesn't do anything either. Has anyone else solved this issue? I can control things just fine in Logitech Capture, but I'd prefer to use one app for all of my devices.

Sorry to go off-topic but I have to ask. Seems like your green screen is in a corner. I have been struggling with my green-screen because in a small room, I can't get far enouhg in front of the lights that light the screen. So I have a green outline that I am trying to remove. Seems like if the green screen is in a corner, I can use the lights more effectively because and have longer distance between me and the screen (and the camera). Is that why you set it up that way? Would ove to get some insights on your setup or a video on the topic if you have one. Thanks!
No problem at all! Glad you asked. I use two chroma key green screens, I use this amzn.to/3Bpr6HI (affiliate) and this amzn.to/2UvDWnn (affiliate) in order for the chroma key to work effectively. Should you scroll down on the 2 pack kit link, I have a demo video there. Hope this helps you
I have logitech c920HD pro. Does anyone know how to remove the black background on my video captures. I remove it on the logitech settings but when I use cV2 video capture, the video opens in the black background. ie seems to default to black background.
Great video. Very clear. Thank you. I use Logi Capture with my 922 but the settings for autofocus, white balance no longer worked - it simply wasn't responsive to setting changes. I thought this was because I needed to start using G Hub. I installed G Hub but now when I use Zoom to make video calls there is no G Hub option to use via the video options on Zoom. This means I can't get the most out of my 922 via LogiCapture or G Hub. I recently upgraded to iOS Monterey - is this the reason why? I'd be interested in your views.
g hub sucks compared to logitech capture but even then they both fall short of video conference apps like Zoom and Google Meet. Honestly the built-in camera on a Macbook is easier to setup and performs better than a C920. I'm not very happy with this purchase
I don`t want to sound rude but it looks bad. It is overexposed. You really need to drop down the exposure. Also the higher the exposure gives you more motion blur because the "shutter" time is reduced. You want the exposure as low as possible to get "clean" movements. After that you can balance the contrast and brightness. White balance should not be left on auto, because when you have colored lights it will misjudge the skin color.
Sorry, but you have no idea what you talk about except on a surface level. Focus isn't the same on all C920 - you definitely need to check what setting is sharpest. The camera framerate is NOT always at 30fps with a shutter speed high enough. If the light is too low, you'll get a lot of motion blur. That's what the Priority setting is for. If you are always in the same light in a room, it's a bad idea to keep the Whitebalance on Auto. You want to manually set it or your picture may be too blue or too orange. The anti flicker setting depends on where you are located. If you live in the US for example, the power grid is at 60Hz, in europe it's at 50. So not everyone should set this to 60.

You would have to use obs/ filter chroma settings. There is some pretty good software out there but that's the simplest way to.

You may have to click the "add new camera mode" option where it says camera mode, and the "add new filter" option where it says video filter.

2 moths using this web cam.... And stop working. It turns on and off and then freezes..... big piece of crap..... -_-
